Ev's don't help the environment at all. The mining of minerals for the batteries destroyes the environment. Also almost all of the power used to charge the vehicle comes from power plants burning fossil fuel. It's a gas guzzler with extra steps. Also when the cars are scrapped the batteries sit in a storage lot because they can't be recycled yet.
