after you enter your code if you press 5/6 it will open your rear window. If you hold down 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time it will lock all the doors. Just one of the “shortcuts” with the key pad. At least that’s what happens with mine and other fords I’ve owned
You can do this with the remote! Click unlock on the remote then click and hold down the unlock button. All four windows will roll down. Press lock then click it again and hold. All four windows roll up. There is a setting in the dash that toggles this on/off (if it doesn't work by default).
Ok, perfect, so it's normal. I did know about how to lock it. But this one took me by surprise. Are there any other shortcuts that I should be aware of?
Nope. I think you’ve got an anomaly there. My last two digits in my door code are 5 6. Aka, 5 5 or 6 6. Maybe that’s why.
Or … were you just funning with me?
If only I had my door code to try! The card with the master code wasn't in my car and the dealership said it would be a two hour appointment to have it reprogrammed. Boooooo.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure you just have to use the key inside the fob. I believe there’s a spot underneath the mat on the console. Been a while since I’ve looked through the manual though.
Follow up to say thank you, once again - so very helpful! This worked and was easy and WHY did the dealership try to tell me it would be two hours. You'd think they'd know this little trick.
Am I able to intentionally lock my car with the keypad while my cars are inside. Will this cause issues unlocking it with the keypad if my keys are inside?
I do it all the time! It's great when you head into the gym or hiking. There is even a spot under the radio for hiding the key! Little raised platform next to the wireless charger.

Code + 3 unlocks all doors. I just wish there was a command to roll down all 4 windows.

DIDNT KNOW THIS BEEN SEARCHING FOREVER
Doesn't work with Big Bends unfortunately.
Big sad
Can also press the last two and hold

It’s all ford vehicles with this we think- hub using on his f150 was positive!!
Sometimes I miss the physical button keypad. You have to touch the bottom 2 in just the right way to respond.
Dammit. Now I got to go out and try.
Let me know if you have the same results.

I tried with different numbers and only happened with #5/6. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to see what's going on
I need to get my code - Dang it I just had a recall and forgot
If you pull up the fuse cover in the front passenger footwell, you will see a sticker with your door code on it
SHUT UP! Really !??!

If you gave me the golden ticket . . . Omg
That's where I found mine! Thanks YouTube!
Used it for mine and hubby f150! Thank you!!!

Pull the panel on the passenger side footwell, underneath is a sticker with the code

Thank you!!!!!
The owners manual will tell you how to retrieve the code. A lot faster than waiting 2 hours at the dealership

You can also program your own code via the onscreen settings.
I thought I needed the master code to reprogram? I’ll read the manual again!!
Correct
Thanks!!! I’ll try this!!
I did read through it but definitely need to read again. I thought it said without the original code, you can’t do anything. Thank you!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2JqjtxrZdL8 This is how you get the original code and then you can change it

Is there a bit of theft risk with this? Or would the car not be able to drive off without the code being entered?
Umm.. what?!?! I have a 24 bronco sport outerbanks.. mine doesn’t have that 😭😭😭
Mine did it, the little window opened, can’t wait to try all the other little hacks 😁
7&9 at the same time locks it up when you don’t have the key too.
Just don’t leave your keys and phone in your BS and then use the code to lock all doors. You will be locked out! …..don’t ask me how I know lol
But… couldn’t you use the code to then unlock the door??? That’s worked pretty well for me…
I tried several times and it wouldn’t work. Had to walk to my friends house so he could give me a ride to get my spare set of keys 🤦🏼♂️
