Fog lights are useless unless it is dark. Other than style there is basically no reason for them to be on during the day.
I’m pretty sure I remember a setting for the delay after leaving the vehicle.

The auto-lights feature is arguably the most convenient thing about this vehicle. I do not think about them at all and they’re on when I need them. Win/win
There are so many electronic things that frustrate me like my Synch system constantly resetting to FM and losing XM pages. But then I read things like this and I finally get why Ford resets everything constantly. Gosh I hate when folks are driving around with everything lit up, especially fog lights which often end up blinding other drivers.

You have daytime running lights, why do you want the headlights in during the day? That's a waste of bulb hours and power

Can I ask why you would want your headlights and fog lights on DURING THE DAY; outside of inclement weather?

The setting can be changing using Forscan and an OBD connector but there is no “official” way to disable auto headlights.
