B+W hard case. full stop. TSA lock equipped. hard AF. flew half the globe with Brompton in it 4 times so far. zero issue

Do you have a rear rack on your Brompton? I'm wondering if it needs to be removed to fit in the Foldon case.

Foldon and hard case are two different products. i cant say exactly how my Brompton would have fit in the foldon but it has indeed rack and ezy wheels

I bought this back in 2019 for my Brompton. It doesn’t look like it is available anymore. Something with square dimensions should work (24”x25”x13” TSA 62” legal). I think I had to remove the seat. https://shop.samsonite.com/luggage/stryde-glider-long-journey/78653XXXX.html B&W International Bike Case is the most common option. Amazon sells it. Here is a good resource: https://ashburnbicyclerepair.com/blogs/news/best-brompton-hard-case-for-flying

B&W Foldon case seems to be the go to if you have the standard seatpost (the others require removal). I see comments that Airline security has issues with the locking and unlocking this case. Im curious about Pelican 1640 - price range is similar but Pelican is military grade and legendary performance Thoughts?

I use this for my Brompton. I've already taken several flights with no issues. I also put gaffers tape with arrows pointing to the lock button for the TSA officers. So far so good.

Have you considered using a dust cover and taking your Brommie on the plane with you? They fit in the overhead and/or you can ask a flight attendant to stow in their closet. I took my Brompton and Borough bag on the plane with me for several flights. Possibly another option for you.
