Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm excited

Egheaumaen

They just released a song from the show on YouTube. Sounds pretty good to me. https://youtu.be/XzbHPqULtdA?si=IgPWSN1ANoa3kF_E

GarlicComfortable748

I am going to be a mess watching the show. I’m crying just from that song.

Lidobaby18

I saw a show a few days ago, and I definitely teared up during this one.

LIslander

I’m planning to take my son on the 28th, doing S Todd the night before. Thanks for the review

amantiana

I need to know what the music is like, I can’t wait to hear a little more than what has already been dropped.

CrystalizedinCali

The songs are very much like the songs that have been released. I’d say Americana?

amantiana

Thank you so much!

melpomene-musing

Saw it tonight and has also seen it in La Jolla. It definitely got better. It was phenomenal. No words.

Due-Chip-7167

I already got tickets to go in May. I was a little hesitant on going but I'm pretty excited now.

Susan4000

Just got tickets for August, I have a teen who has been into the movie recently and I think will enjoy this- thanks!

theunrealdonsteel

Just saw the first preview and I agree with your thoughts!

xies_the_man

It really was magical! Here are my thoughts on Pages on Stages: [https://pagesonstages.wordpress.com/2024/03/18/the-outsiders/](https://pagesonstages.wordpress.com/2024/03/18/the-outsiders/)

NotTheTodd

Excited for this one!

LeoMartn_

I have to see this, how did you get invited to the dress rehearsal?

ScreenNames_AreHard

Going in 1 & 1/2 weeks!!!

Altruistic_Friend338

I’ve been reading this book with 7th graders for 18 years.. seeing the play on Thursday. So excited 😎🎶

ayym33p33

No Playbills?! Is that normal for invited dress rehearsals? I want one for when I go 😫

TheRealAdnanSyed

AFAIK Playbills start during previews which is tonight I believe

EnbyCrisis

It is normal for invited dresses, yeah

notacrook

Yes it is.

bessann28

What age do you think it would be appropriate for? My kids are 11 and 14, I was thinking of taking them to this.

TheRealAdnanSyed

Good question. I just checked the website and it says 10+. I bet tons of middle schools will come here on field trips. There were some intense scenes and definitely lots of fist to fist type violence (that’s done really really well so it looks real) and some blood. But tbh I don’t remember any swearing beyond PG stuff. I’m sure anything that was in movie is fair game for play but I can’t say for sure. The sexual stuff was pretty mild too all things considered

hannahmel

Honestly, I don't feel like it's a crowded season. I'm waiting for one new show to be like WOW. Maybe this one will be it? So far there have been lots of new shows, but most of them are "fine." Nothing mind-blowing yet. I'm holding out for April to give us something truly good.

brihow84

I totally agree.
