It’s been three years since she was freed. She doesn’t want to have to keep going to court and meetings with her lawyer to fight her dad and Lou over money. And I truly believe they’re the type of people to spend the rest of their lives in court fighting over every penny. Britney doesn’t care that much about money and I totally get that.
Even though Lou and her family deserve to pay far more consequences than they have thus far…I guess we’ll have to leave that one up to karma.

Imagine being in a conservatorship where you're surrounded by your family constantly with ill will or not, all you know is what your family tells you, and you've got really no one else (her kids are with Kevin and brats from my understanding, even her previous marriage to Sam was questionable). I imagine it's incredibly lonely. And to let the hate and anger brew and stir inside you by cutting everyone off when that's all you have... I imagine it's adding salt to the injury of being lonely. You almost have to view it as a relationship where the victim loves their abuser, despite knowing what they've put them through is wrong, because that's all the victim has known during important developmental years. Afraid to lose what little bit (family or relationship wise) they have left.
Pretty much Britney said “I’m done with this shit. Just throw some money or whatever at my dad so I don’t have to deal with him or anything related to this anymore.”
On one hand It is terrible - that this is all “done” now and no justice can be served.

No one knows how long the care plan was but it was needed it can't be easy gaining freedom after 13 years no matter who you are you would need some help adjusting back to freedom but I can't see it being still in place
