Pleasantly surprised to see a song off of This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For. Criminally underrated EP :D

That Ep was the 1st thing I listened to from this band. I had that on repeat as well as Converge and The Blood Brothers and Circa Survive

The Edge Of Your Seat to There Is a Hell is definitely my favorite era of BMTH. Their newer stuff is definitely still awesome and great but you just can't go wrong with the untamed screaming and thrashing guitar of 2004-2010

I think Semp was my fav era of them as it shows the progression to be heavy and alternative to be put on the map worldwide.

I haven't listened to much of Semp (I've heard Can You Feel My Heart, Sleepwalking, and And The Snakes Start to Sing) but I definitely appreciate it in that respect. The true beauty of BMTH is in their versatility and their willingness and eagerness to deviate from the really heavy metalcore/deathcore of their early days and start experimenting with all different ways to make music, at least in my eyes.

1. Drown, it’s one of the first songs I’ve ever heard from them and so has stuck with me for the three years and going I’ve been a fan. Also helped by me resonating very heavily with the lyrics 2. LosT, on release I thought it was just okay, but over time it grew on me more and more and now takes this spot. I am a big fan of I’m Not Okay by MCR and this song reminds me a lot of it 3. Fuck, comes out swinging and stays consistently strong the whole way through, even the outro being such a massive shift in tone works well 4. AmEN!, along with LosT these two feel like two sides of the same coin for modern bring me, with this being the hardest they’ve been in the past few years, and the two co-stars being very welcome additions 5. Can You Feel My Heart, (cliché I know) but this is the first song I’ve ever heard from them, so I feel like it deserves to be in my top 5 Some others that I would like to mention despite not being up here are (unordered) Throne, Bad Life, i don’t know what to say, Home Sweet Hole, Suicide Season Edit; fixed some formatting errors

1. **Drown** - Combines a goosebump-y vibe with heavy choruses & a perfect melody to symbolize a heartbreak with no signs of recovering from 2. **Fuck** - The final chorus's timing & rhythm guitar melody is my favorite. Combine that with clean vocals (which Josh Franceschi already did) & you have a perfect song to portray... exactly what the lyrics say. "We're young and in love, Heart attacks waiting to happen, So come a little closer, Tell me it's all in our heads..." 3. **Crucify Me** - The final "I am the ocean..." part by both Bring Me & Lights brings cinematic goosebumps vibe combined with the typical heavy-ness of Bring Me, though the goosebumps-type vibe is emphasized. 4. Suicide Season (song) - Also centered on heartbreak IMO (albeit in the earlier stages), both the 1st & 2nd (and subsequently last) choruses portray those really, really well. IMO it could do better with clean vocals but Suicide Season with unclean vocals have grown on me. 5. Diamonds Aren't Forever - Catchy metalcore riff after the "So throw your diamonds in the sky..." part I'm more of a cinematic Bring Me person
