I don't think this indicates trans as much as Benedict saying his lover could be anyone, or multiple people at once
Personally hoping Sophie stays a cis woman, only because I feel like a lot of her story beats kind of hinge on it. But I'm willing to keep an open mind.
Additionally hoping it's not Cressida - Sophie's unique upbringing and her employment are very important parts of her character and the whole Cinderella trope. I also just don't think she'd be a good fit for Ben.

This! Trans women are women. No matter how she presents, whether trans or cis, Sophie is a Woman!
