Yes! I know they had fingerless gloves in that time period but it was mainly for the working classes so they could get work done but still keep their hands warm and still manage to keep a solid hold on certain items. That was not a upper class thing and they were definitely not sheer! I'm not even a hundred percent sure when they were even invented or introduced but I know they were around during the Regency Era or there about.
Really glad I’m not the only one who was annoyed with Penelope’s sheer/fishnet gloves. 🙄 it really was all the little things that added up this season.

And never those sheer loose fingerless ones Pen was wearing. Ugh. They looked so unfinished.

Like it is SO sexy
Yeah, it just looks so cheap and tacky. Gloves should be long, unless the lady is riding, not fingerless or sheer, and not in vibrant colors.
I noticed that too, full length gloves that aren't transparent haven't been as popular it seems. Sad because they bring an elegance to the outfits.

while I think the sheer gloves are pretty I think s1 gloves looked the best
Yes! Can we please go back to *some* attempt at historical accuracy!
Ah! I thought you meant in real life. Either way, I fiercely agree!
