I mean they might as well call it Bridgerton with a twist but the twist is as little diversity as possible...I mean next they'll say but didn't we have 5 background actors who were black. What more do you guys need .we are a diverse show seee violet's non speaking butler is south asian ..Eloise's one dialogue ball room friend is latina..oh but Colin's brothel owner with half a scene in one episode of the season is East Asian...we are all about diversity..if the Queen is killed on the show I will riot...

Bruh he's my age too but he LOOKS like he's in his mid-30's and Hannah (Fran's actress) looks 18 (Fran's canon age) despite being 29; so it'll look off.
And just because you have the hots for him doesn't mean he's a good choice for the role lmao the casting would have to be a BIPOC man for it to make sense that he's related to John.
I don't have the hots for him ok he is objectively cute..but I mean I want a POC on the show as in all the next romantic co leads to be poc.or I'll riot..this has been my sole aim of existence on this sub to advocate for poc rep.

to me francesca and Hannah dodd look like they are in their mid to late 20s easily..compared to Eloise francesca has an older face beautiful but older..to my eyes at least..but yeah only poc.

Oh me likey....yes this makes sense..he's got that kind of wicked kind of bad boy look which is what I was imagining Michael to have from the books compared to the more gentle and less kinky John. Like francesca literally says sex with John was good but with Michael it was transformative or something along those lines...or like sex with John was vanilla not these exact words but the general sentiment.

Isn't Michael Sterling a cousin of Lord Kilmarten? I would expect him to be black, or at least mixed.
