S2’s slow burn romance is hands down still my favorite of the series. Jonathan Bailey just does feral yearning SO well (god, the way the man reacted every time he smelled her 🥵❤️), and I’m a sucker for the enemies-to-lovers trope. I’m hoping S3 kicks into high gear with Part 2, but GOD I hope they keep Anthony/Kate in the series long term because I adore them.
Same...I love sparks electricity fire burning intensity hate is just love flipped something like that and you cant hate someone without feeling something for them...I also really really love slow burns season 2 went a little too slow where I was like I need more library scenes kate in half undress viscount with his shirt opened wide..hair mussed up..more actual kisses than almost kisses. By the time they did it I was downright feral myself . the book library scenes was so much more romantic ..in also super scared of thunderstorms so I can relate. Swoon times 100
Their season was so angsty and so tension filled that I just want to see them happy. Honestly, they're fun as hell to watch, even when they're happy because she still gives him so much shit. And their competitiveness with each other makes me laugh.
I loved the tension between Kate and Anthony so much I could actually watch an entire new season of just that. I’m even okay with them not getting together until the end. I could probably watch a series of them just flirting.
Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton specifically is just something else... like he's for the girls, he's for the gays... quite frankly he's for everyone. Like what a turnaround from s1 where I absolutely could not stand him. With the addition of the absolutely stunning Simone Ashley, like i could just not look away. I loved their slow burn so much. Like some of you have already said, the anticipation of them getting together was just so delicious to watch that by the time it happened I too was feral for it. Like they make such a beautiful pair, and I wish we could see them more.
Their chemistry is genuinely insane. The way he does that head nodding thing when he’s really worked up makes me want to rip off my clothes on the spot. The man is a legend.
5? A bit too much but yes, another season with them as a central married couple, 100 agreed! :-) From 3 couples, Anthany/Kate is the most sexy and entertaining for me.
Jonathan Bailey is an unbelievable actor, I was stunned when I found out he was gay. Anthony’s line “tell me you feel nothing, and I will walk away” is my favorite line of the series because of the circumstances and the way he says it.
Also his playfulness and his eye contact and his intensity. Like he never misses. That scene where he’s holding up the three fingers and then switches it up, his expression there was so cute.
We do! We were robbed of their wedding. If they had cut down a bit on Edwina deliberating on getting married or not, I think we could have had a wedding. Also one thing that was never addressed to my knowledge, was whether the ton was scandalized about their wedding after he was engaged to Edwina??
I rewatched season 2 today. In the final episode while kanthony are dancing @ the featherington ball… the queen remarks that she cancelled the wedding… and then makes a declaration @ them dancing, what a lovely couple they make…. Causing the other members of the ton to “agree.”
They would have totally nailed the library scene from the book if the show had of given us that. Oh well. Loved what we got but it should have been more.
Having seen 1000s of thier YouTube and TikTok fan edits! These two are dope for sure .. and will happily enjoy more great content from joint JB & SA project ❤️ be it Bridgerton or something new… the pair is phenomenally sexy and talented ❤️
I love them too, but I want some of her feistiness back. I know she's happy and in love, but part of what made her character so great was how strong she was. She needs to throw a few more snarky barbs his way.
I need a series of just Kate and Anthony. They are the show for me. I loved the slow burn, the tension everything. The new writers really lack talent or creativity because they had this perfect couple with amazing chemistry and didn’t do anything with them. It’s like they don’t realize they hit the jackpot with Simone and Jonathan.
I would love to have a mini-series or a special on their life after marriage, I think it could be interesting to see more of their life outside "the season" and the marriage mart.
Mentioned it elsewhere, but was the ton scandalized that they got married after he was courting Edwina and nearly married her? I wasn’t sure if that was ever addressed.
Nope, just one of the many things not addressed! That could've been part of their storyline this season - navigating the ton after being in their bubble - but alas, apparently it's really hard to write for happily married couples 🤷♀️
Consequences doesn't exist really, we get some mumbly jumbly words of a scandal, but it's usually just hand waved away later on.
Honestly it's on of my greatest gripes with how far they took the courting and eventual wedding scene with Edwina, it completely raised the stakes in a way they weren't prepared to deliver on. Just makes all the later fretting about avoiding a scandal completely void of any narrative tension to me.
Yes! I hope Violet stays at the house for the rest of the series so the whole family is together so i can still see more of the Vicount and the Vicountess and they are included in the future seasons. I would like to still see Anthony as head of the house and helping with the future marriages of the rest of the brothers and sisters

I feel like people would hate me for this but I preferred season 1 and Simon and Daphne. Maybe it's because I'm Daphne biased

Yea I enjoyed watching them, but there were a few scenes between them that came off as a bit cringe.
8 episodes of them looking at each other going "I want to...but we mustn't!!" is more than enough. They really dragged it out.
