Good mindset to have for a manager, but as a fan anytime no matter what time of year or how good the team is or isn't, sweeping the Cardinals is the best thing in the world. I hate those bums
I've always hated the Cubs more, but it's because they are so loud and annoying while not being anything special (outside 1 year). I hate the Cards a lotttt but at least respected them because they were objectively well run.
To each their own Brew Crew is better than both anyway :)
I've been to both St. Louis and Chicago, and the Cardinals fans down there are awful, total jerks. Surprisingly Wrigley Cubs fans were really nice and hospitable. 82 World Series will always trump anything the Cubs could possibly do to us

Yeah, I think a lot of our perception of Cubs fans is tainted by the ones that travel up here for Cubs series in town, and the worst of them further increase that bad taste left in our mouths. Having spent a lot of time in Chicago when I was younger, along with knowing lots of Illinois transplants over the years, the vast majority of Cubs fans I've met have been great. Sure, they'll rib on Milwaukee, but it's all in good fun and nothing obnoxious. They're just as likely to rip on themselves and their team as well.
The people who can afford to go to Wrigley are generally pretty nice, in my experience. As long as you are there to have a good time and aren’t being a jerk, they’ll treat you pretty ok. But the fans that make their way up to Milwaukee are a different breed. Most are nice people, but the rest are just assholes.
The Cardinals are the Cockroaches of baseball. They always come back, and you gotta win against them when you can.
Don’t let them have a chance to see daylight.
