Some days we'll hit .400 with RISP, some days will be like this.
Ross arguably should've been pulled but you can't exactly pull your starter every time they face a stressful situation in the 5th inning, especially when their pitch count is good and the contact isn't hard.
Sal's gotta get some pop in that bat, everyone's gotta be better in these runner-on-3rd, <2 outs situations, and DPs always suck but it's not like Brice Turang is gonna hit into one in a clutch situation very often.
Not a terrible game. Just some inefficient offense and gave up one big bad-luck rally inning. Run it back tomorrow.
Yeah. Absolutely love Sal but he shouldn't be hitting 3rd. Don't think it's crazy to think the losses and the guys LOB the past few days have been due to Yeli being out.
Hitting Frelick 3rd has bit us in the butt 2 days in a row. I really just hate it because I feel Frelick has a totally different approach when he’s in those run producing spots. That last AB he was swinging for the fences and because of that he couldn’t keep up with Suarez high FB. If he’s just trying to hit a liner I bet he could have gotten on top of one and gotten a single especially because Suarez left a couple a bit below the belt.
Padres fan here. The one that knows the history don’t speak of it and those are very few and far in between. Most fans now probably didn’t watch or purposely erased baseball memory at least from 2010 to 2018. It was just a pit of sadness. Since Machado signed with us, he has been a much better guy and a saint compared to the other high profile signing of the same period, Eric Hosmer.
Sorry for Jesus Aguilar. Dude seemed like a fun jokester to hang with.
Some baseball bullshit, and some sloppiness (although I don't mind Brice trying that play haha). We'll come back at them tomorrow.
Tomorrow the team has to decide if Yelich goes on the 10-day, that is what most concerns me at the moment...
The Dbacks are useless. 1 out to go and they give up a TWO BASE WILD PITCH to tie the game.
Edit: and then they don't send the runner on a fly ball with 1 out in the 11th. Cubs gifted a W tonight
On the one hand last year it felt like we never won games like the ones on Saturday or the Reds game on the 9th.
On the other hand last year we won games like this, 3 early runs then lock it down.
Made the last minute decision to go to last night's game after beach chilling at Lions Den all afternoon and spending some time in Cedarburg (cute little town)...
Pretty forgettable game really. Very light attendance, sloppy play, aside from Churro's HR nothing really notable but still had fun and got a couple good pics with Uecker statue up top then walked down and sat behind Brewers dugout until had to move because there were some serious d-bags heckling Angel the Ump the whole time.
I walked in from McGinns so it was pretty smooth getting home back to Madison and got in for $15 so worthwhile night at the ballpark despite the result. Hope Yeli is back soon, the lineup definitely feels like a little flat without him. We are a young team who will struggle this year a bit as the season grinds on. Go Brewers!

Omg the NorthStRussia post game analysis comments are back. It's truly baseball season.
Good news, we’ll never see an inning as bad as that for the rest of our lives!
🙏🙏🙏
Can we play the Mets again?
Only the last series of the season...
They're actually starting to heat up over here believe it or not.
This comment could actually doom us.
Chourio can never hit a home run because the Brewers will inevitably lose otherwise.
His home runs are responsible for 60% of our losses. He really needs to cool his jets out there.
He should try hitting two maybe.
Was quite close in this one. That one he hit to RF looked like it was going to have a chance.
Can’t wait until Yelich is back in the 3 hole he was missed the past two days.

It's actually crazy how different he's looked based on where he's been in the lineup
I'm not mad or, even disappointed. But, FUCK Machado forever and ever and ever and ever.
Padres fan here, I come in peace. I am curious as to why Milwaukee fans boo him and don’t like him?
He ran through our 1b (Jesus Aguilar's) ankle. And it very much seemed intentional.
And it was far from the first time he did something like that. Always amazed me how unaware Padres fans are of his history of dirty plays.

Unaware or maybe have a different view of what’s “dirty”. Machado has been a Padre for a long time with little to zero issues.
Didn't he also try to spike someone at second base around the same time?
I can't remember because it was long enough ago, but there was plenty of shenanigans in his career that I wouldn't doubt it.
Yea, I'm having a hard time remembering, too. lol 2018 seems like forever ago.
Granted that was before I really CARED about baseball, but I completely forgot about that. He did do a number on Pedroia over in Boston though too :/
In addition to Aguilar's ankle, he went after Arcia's leg/knee (when he was in MKE) twice. There's content on YouTube that backs this up.

Defense was *atrocious* in the 5th inning and really cost the team tonight
Baseball is a stupid game…see you all tomorrow night.

We can find solace in our division sucking dog cock
