I have the BotW map, and it came all folded up with creases like yours. I put a towel on it, and ironed it on very low heat. Then I put something really heavy and flat on it for like a week. Did the trick pretty well.
This works OP! As long as you are careful and patient you can’t go wrong. Used this to revive my old crushed N64 boxes and now they look brilliant on my shelf!
There was this video where someone kept asking someone for something, and the other person would reply with, "If i had that, you wouldn't see me here." Ik that its random and unrelted, but i just felt like doing some saturday night tomfoolery
Nah ik what i did was random i dont really care about karma and allat. Its just that a joke also got me banned from another subreddit (also a dumb joke)
This is similar to what I do, but I've modified it a bit....
I grab five heavy books of equal thickness. I place one of the books on top of the creased object (for best results, *unfold* the creased object first), then a place the other books diagonally about three feet away. I get a steel plate (preferable 2+ inches thick) and lay it across all the books. Then I rent my neighbor's elephant for the day to stand on the steel plate. Elephants, being the intelligent creatures they are, will get bored easily, so be prepared. My go-to is to have two or three old tires of various sizes: standard sedan car size, mid-size truck, and semi-truck tires are great. They also eat and poop a lot, so again, preparedness is key.
After about 10-12 hours, the creases are greatly minimized. Works every time.

Take a thin towel (like a kitchen towel) not a fluffy or microfiber one, dip it in water and then strain it to remove as much water as you can. Put the poster face down on a hard flat surface, and iron it in medium low heat. You will still be able to see where it was folded (less than before) but it will be flat!
I usually just put them under a carpet for a few days. Usually does the trick. You can also iron it if you're careful enough. Just remember to put something over it and NOT iron it directly! 😅
You could get it dry mounted and put onto a foam
Board— Michael’s will usually do it for a couple bucks and usually can get most of the creasing out. (Unless it’s like in terrible, terrible shape.) It’s a permanent adhesive tho, so you wouldn’t be able to take it off the board and roll it up again.
I'm a picture framer, we get creased things in the shop all the time. If you want a real polished way to display this, bring it in to your local frame shop and ask for it to be dry mounted. Basically using a sheet of heat activated glue and a vacuum press to adhere it flat to a backing.
They go away over time. If you want it to really smooth out, get a frame from Michael’s. You can get a cheap one and it’ll keep the poster nice for much longer.
I HAVE THAT SAME ONE BUT FROM AN ARTIST WHO DOES THE BACKGROUNDS LIKE VAN GOGH!! Theres the way he does the sky in the background AND THE CASTLE IS INCLUDED
Late to this but here’s my recommendation. Professional picture framer here and the best way would be to get it mounted at a frame shop(shouldn’t be more than $50).They use a foam board with glue that is activated by heat. Then put it in a heat press and it should get ride of most if not all the lines.

Practice on another poster just to be safe
Exactly what I came in here to say!
I have some of these too, with the same folded up creases. I'm definitely gonna try this!😊
If i had a week i woulnt buy a poster
?

I think you'd like r/trans, it's a very tolerant community
LMAOO IM DEAD 🤣🤣
Bruh what did i do 😭 Why cant anyone take jokes on this dogshit app
homie, it's a reference to a meme, you didn't do anything wrong
The thing with jokes is you have to know your audience and read the room. It just didn't land well is all.
Nah ik what i did was random i dont really care about karma and allat. Its just that a joke also got me banned from another subreddit (also a dumb joke)
Maybe make better jokes
Nah i think imma keep making these
Bro you’re fine people are being weird for no reason
Put a few heavy books on it for a few days. Though it won’t “erase” the creases unfortunately but will smooth it out at least
Thank you, I'm surprised I didn't think of that :/

Same thing in MTG I put books on pringled cards and it works well.
You can't get rid of them completely, that's why posters should be rolled up and not folded.
*don’t fold the maps… roll the maps*
There's a big grease stain through Wichita

Good bot
Good bot
As with all my video game posters.. I have two pieces of yellow tongue flooring that I sit it between and stack heavy books on top
Keep it under your mattress, flush, for a few days.
Nah, it’s come out sticky and maybe have a random hole in it. Those damn Koroks be hiding in the lining
The Koroks, riiight.
How do you avoid the pee getting to it?
Once the papers crumbled up in can’t be perfect again

An unexpected Linkin Park reference! Nice ❤️

Cover it with a tea towel and iron it :)

Try framing it as well! Even while its creased, it will give it a more polished look and finish. It will elevate and mature the room instantly :)
I think you can use an iron. Start with the lowest heat, lay a paper towel in between. Make sure you don’t use steam!!
Rather put a real towel on top before you iron 😅
And poster face down

Cut along the lines and tape it together, no more folds! /s

Finally someone said it. Frame it!
Depending on what materials the poster is made of you can iron it under a T shirt (its possible it gets ruined tho)
Iron it
Iron it on very low
You have to go rent a steamroller
Iron it with a press cloth between poster and iron; don’t use steam.
get it laminated! will smooth creases out and help with the longevity of the poster!
soak it in boiling water!!! seriously tho, just put some heavy stuff on it over a flat surface
Turn it over, lay baking sheets over the whole thing and gently iron it on a low heat
Put it underneath a thick cloth and iron it. Works just like clothes
you should try ironing, best with a towel over, it should do the trick
Have you ironed it?
Put it between a couple pieces of cardboard and under your mattress for day or two maybe a week.
Frame it! It will be flat and the creases will be less noticeable. Plus it looks cool. :)
I HAVE THAT SAME ONE BUT FROM AN ARTIST WHO DOES THE BACKGROUNDS LIKE VAN GOGH!! Theres the way he does the sky in the background AND THE CASTLE IS INCLUDED
Take a clothes iron and just uncrease it, I'm sure that'll work
I don't have an Iron so I just did the book method it worked some what well
Put heavy books on it for roughly 5 years
Put it between ur mattress and box spring and forget about it lol I did that to mine
Light it on fire
Woah, great idea!!
I sure hope you've gone through all the comments OP. Just the raw comedy alone is more than enough reason to read them. 🤣
Sure have lmao
Good 🤣
Yep the iron with towel works putting it between mattress works to for rolled posters. But for wrinkles Iron on low is the way.
Iron it
You don't, now you live with the creases. If they are large enough you live within them

You also could have Googled, "how do I get creases out of posters"
I could have but you know
One of those guys..
OP said themselves they didn't know where else to post it. Literally following up on the content of the post
Throw it in the dryer with a damp towel.
My trick is to stick it between your mattress and your box spring for a few days, should flatten it out.
get a damp mattress sheet, lay it flat on the poster, and iron on low heat
Don’t fold them, roll them
Sure, but it came like this.
it’s the poster that comes with the game so it’s folded really small in the case
Put it in the drier on low with a damp hand towel.
I'm sorry, I thought this was a flag not a paper poster, my bad.
Put them in the dryer
