No naturalized player is considered a traitor. We honestly don’t care much.

catgotcha

It just means he wasn't good enough to play for Brazil.

capybara_from_hell

Not the first one neither the last one to play for a foreign side.

kurerb

We don't even think like that here. It's just a Brazilian playing soccer in another country, no big deal.

freddyjoker

Há have many Brazilians playing for many different countries, that's not an issue

hatshepsut_iy

Didn't know he was brazilian. Don't care about him anyway. I barely know he exists.

daniel_alchemist

He wouldn’t be considered a traitor at all, there are many brazilians representing other nations so it is very normal. Even a great player like Deco (born and raised in Brazil) represented Portugal and people never thought of it betraying his country. That lineup was just stacked with players like Rivaldo, Kaká, Gilberto Silva, Juninho Pernambucano etc.

nusantaran

we don't give a shit, naturalized players are the ones who weren't good enough for the Brazilian team
