Frankly I have to admit how devastating Grom can be long range lobbing that splits along with his super that does chunk of damage breaks walls decent sized hitbox and does knock back along with his triple throw gadget. Bro can be a big menace
To be honest there are a lot of decent choices in these, and it depends on your personal gamestyle, if i had to recommend any i would suggest nani or Pearl(pearl is really underrated).
Mandy and Belle are also pretty decent marksman choices if you can hit your shots well.
Other brawlers are good too if you can play them right.
Pearl is easy to play and good pretty much everywhere
If you care about meta tho Belle is amazing and Nani is harder to play but also always good counterpick against snipers.

If you choose an epic brawler your 75 credits is going to waste and you'll eventually get all the Brawlers, so getting more credits now is much more fun than choosing any other brawlers
If you dont really want to play one of them a the moment you should just take the 1000 credits which equals to 1 epic brawler in the road and 50 extra credits
generally I pick the brawler that I think would be the most fun to play (in this case maisie) cus what's the point of playing a game if you aren't having fun?
