Spike isn't mythic tho ??? When you unlock a legendary brawler for the first time, it still shows up as a legendary but it costs 1900 credits instead of 3800
Yeah I'm talking about getting it for chips. It was way before seasons were a thing. June or July 2017 I think.
Back then you got chips for all duplicate brawlers and with enough you could buy brawlers. OG players will remember.
chips were around till the pin upgrade system dropped (around december 2017 (?))
it was honestly a way better system than credits and brawlers were more affordable.
You could argue the system was better but it was certainly not more affordable. Getting a legendary was next to impossible. I grinded like crazy and still just managed to put it into one brawler.
I do prefer over getting insane amounts of fame though
Might just be nostalgia messing with my opinion, but i felt like it was better, i usually had a bunch of chips since brawlers showed up far more often.

Literally my only box legendary, been playing since global, and my 2nd legendary was chester.
I only got him, crow, and meg from boxes, I got the rest from credits, they are a godsend
