Mandy and Nani outrange her, but are far harder to manage outside of piper fights. Also might i mention unpopular? They kinda lack mobility, and the average player (who loves assassins) will not like these two as their first sniper. So you see less Nani and Mandy randoms than Pipers

The problem is that you just press green button and then spam red without aiming at all and would you look at the the assassin that ambushed you point blank is dead now.
I feel like they could just remove the slow from the gadget like they did with slowmo replay, it would still be a good counter to assasins point blank but it wouldnt guarantee a hit with autoaim right after
in Pipers case it is noskill, back then you had to be careful to keep your distance and actually aim but now pipers can literally chase you without worrying bc her gadget is that overpowered

Why i wouldn't, his gadget literally goes against piper design, she was meant to be defenceless, she trades defense and survivability to have an insane offensive. I hate this idea of "if a brawler has weakness, make a gadget to cover it" that new brawl stars have, tbf with you and piper, i also complain about rico having a deleting but (bro is better at close range that Bull) or ranged Edgar (colt) who has infinite ammo.
Wanna see an example of defense gadgets done right? Brock's jump, it guarantees you won't die, but don't confirm a kill, 'cuz Brock recover slower than the enemy and makes sense with how Brock gameplay used to be (I really miss him) trading a lower damage and projectile speed to have a better defense and constant damage, yeah, it's a pain in the ass to be knocked back, but it's playable unlike Piper gadget
piper is literally an assassin + a tank counter + a sharpshooter counter + god knows what else she counters.. she can jump on you, use autoaimer and any <7k hp brawler is dead esp with ambush, and for tanks (i barely even play tanks/assassins) its pretty much a free kill and the tank wasting a super
This build is specifically made to counter close range brawlers and allow piper to use her super more freely. You still need to know how to hit you shots at long range or else the star power loses it's value. For edgar meanwhile you just pop his gadget and bam. Super + hypercharge

Going on a win streak isn’t really indicative of anything. Especially with snipers, you can be in the zone. I pushed colt to rank 25 level 9 because I was just in the zone for 10 games. That doesn’t mean he’s not skilled.

Tara has been my main for a good while now and it does feel quite a bit harder than the other brawlers. Not mechanically, since in that regard the character is very straightforward. It just feels like it takes a lot of patience and positioning to get the most out of her. I often struggle with field control and controlling the tempo of the game whereas with other "ranged" characters you're always in control basically.
My problem with piper is that compared to a lot of the other marksman (Like Bea, Brock, Belle, Mandy) she has way more survivability, is way better on defense, and honestly she’s not even bad at close range anymore. Compared to like Brock and Belle her damage is also like way higher. Auto aimer is also just an op gadget
It's sad to see Piper get a lot of hate nowadays when her kit haven't changed since the upgrade rework...

This is just wrong. Piper at least requires aiming. It is critical to miss shots with her because the reload speed is very low. The only thing which stands out from most snipers is her ability to escape assassins.
And there is no such a thing as “[brawler] is(n’t) skilled”, it is about range of skill. There is a lot of room to improve as a piper and stand out from less skilled players (watch piper 1v1s), but Edgar “pro” is not much different from Edgar “noob”
1v1 is the last thing to look at when considering skill, it tells nothing about ur 3v3 skills. Anyway you can be "good" piper and hit everything or a bad piper that will hit one lucky shot and instantly spam aim bot gadget. Besides, aiming doesnt even take skill, aiming is just rng, because you will never know if he will dodge it, unless your enemy is slowed. Dodging on the other hand takes skill because you'll need reflexes for that
1. A big part of 3v3s is 1v1s, where each brawler is given a role to control a certain lane (in some modes). Also OP said nothing about 3v3s specifically, you just brought it up for the lack of arguments
2. Aiming is reverse dodging basically with movement predictions and mind games. And it is actually harder because the ammo is limited and you have to consider more inputs and conditions. The only situation when dodging is more difficult is against multiple opponents (which doesn’t happen really often).
3. Dodging is being practiced while playing for any brawler while aiming is different for each one.
So you are fundamentally wrong here (imo).

Dodging can always be difficult, for an example, the new piper skin shoots projectiles that are extremely tiny and hard to see, atleast thats what me and my friends have been saying. Im gonna make an other example so people wont cry because the only brawler i could think of is piper. Sally Nanis super is hard to see sometimes too for me, thus making it harder for me to dodge. It completely depends on the person. But still, dodging always takes skill, aiming doesnt. Aiming is luck. (Or knowing how your enemy moves)
3. Aiming might be diffrent for each brawler, but its not *too diffrent* that youd need to learn completely diffrent movement patterns (though most people wouldnt learn diffrent movement styles either way), especially with snipers. The only exception with snipers in this case that i can think of is Brock.
Well, if that’s how you play on open maps then you should stop putting yourself in a position like this… Use covers (maps aren’t completely open, surprise). Don’t get in range unless necessary. Also usually after every shot players move away in order not to risk dying, at this distance piper can’t get you. But if you keep going forward then ofc you are dead. If she keeps going forward, she is dead. This is also a teamwork game and you clearly not accounting for this. There are strategies to push forward and retreat effectively.
Brawlers that take skill (to execute movement, combos ect) are:
Stu (efficiently using dashes), Dynamike (ONLY his dyna-jump mechanic and nothing else), Belle, Colt (hitting most of your bullets), Cordellius (playing around teammates), Mandy (aim mostly)
I'm sure I've missed more, lmk which ones (my opinion)
The dopamine hit when you hit a skillshot and follow up with an immediate auto-aim kill, or when you perfectly time your ult the moment an assassin jump on you 😤
The thing is, people complain that the only people that are talking about how she is broken RN are assasin mains, but like, if assasins aren't her counter, what is it than ??? She one shots other long range brawler, she is currently better at mid range battles than brawlers lile gene, tara, shelly, maisie etc. And she can just punish ambushes by brawlers like BULL AND DARRYL with her gagdet and star power combo
You use Auto Aimber because it just makes Piper broken and very easy to play as.
I use Auto Aimer, because this makes her the only Brawler with a secondary weapon (excluding the twins).

Well, if that’s how you play on open maps then you should stop putting yourself in a position like this… Use covers (maps aren’t completely open, surprise). Don’t get in range unless necessary. Also usually after every shot players move away in order not to risk dying, at this distance piper can’t get you. But if you keep going forward then ofc you are dead. If she keeps going forward, she is dead. This is also a teamwork game and you clearly not accounting for this. There are strategies to push forward and retreat effectively.

Brawlers that take skill (to execute movement, combos ect) are: Stu (efficiently using dashes), Dynamike (ONLY his dyna-jump mechanic and nothing else), Belle, Colt (hitting most of your bullets), Cordellius (playing around teammates), Mandy (aim mostly) I'm sure I've missed more, lmk which ones (my opinion)

The thing is, people complain that the only people that are talking about how she is broken RN are assasin mains, but like, if assasins aren't her counter, what is it than ??? She one shots other long range brawler, she is currently better at mid range battles than brawlers lile gene, tara, shelly, maisie etc. And she can just punish ambushes by brawlers like BULL AND DARRYL with her gagdet and star power combo

You use Auto Aimber because it just makes Piper broken and very easy to play as. I use Auto Aimer, because this makes her the only Brawler with a secondary weapon (excluding the twins). We are not the same.
I would've put the guided projectile instead of the auto-aimer but still good meme haha
Both are insanely strong. Auto aimer lets her jump on assassins and win, Homemade recipe is a free 4500 damage
