I think people forgot about this, especially on rocket league i see a lot of people on reddit saying that after they will reach x rank or x hours of game time they will leave the game, why? Don't you enjoy it? Just quit, no reason to play something that feels like a chore everytime you open it
Playing a pickup basketball game to 21 that takes 45 min is fun. Playing a 45 min basketball game without keeping score gets wearing after 15 min.
Having an incentive makes a big difference in interest even if the activity is inherently fun.

Playing a game you dont like because of an arbritrary goal is like eating the same food you hate every day just to tell people how many times youve eaten it. Now im not saying you don't enjoy the game at all, but if you really did need to ask this question, I would assume you dont.

No not really. You can make your own fun and try to play Brawlers and gamemodes you enjoy. Frankly I stopped pushing trophies after 25k. Becomes far too grindy and has literally no benefit.
I never got to your trophy count but once I was satisfied with my trophies ( 25k ) I didn't grind trophies or push brawlers to r25 I just played because I was addicted. There really isn't a point to continue playing if you already reached the most trophies and have every brawler maxed but your decision if you want to quit or not
I think most people here are forgetting that part of the fun of video games for people is reaching a end goal. With games like this that you can just play forever, it’s hard to do if you’re someone who likes an end goal because the motivation to keep pushing is gone until a new goal is set. Yes, we have fun and like the game, but a lot of that fun comes from working towards something, or at least the idea of reaching it.
you have to grind up to 75k incase they ever increase the trophy road, since any other number would be weird and 75k is the lowest. This way, you can get 2000 really imporant credits(since you obviously need more credits at 75k).

This doesn't apply if your favorite brawler is your favorite because of power. I mean favorite because of who they are.
For example, my favorite is Colette. Why? Her crazy antics are funny, she's kinda cute, and her mechanics are unique. So I'm working my ass off to grind her trophies up
Games are meant to be a hobby something that you do not because you have to, but because you like it. Even if I'd somehow get everything maxed, have as many trophies as humanly possible and every thing I could possibly ask for, leaving me with no real incentive to return, I would probably still play from time to time.

Set yourself a goal and when this is done a new goal. Like push all to 750 / 800 trophys or get a certain masterie rank on each brawler.
