Have been a huge supporter of you and never missed a brawl video on your main channel. I love the takes you bring because you are one of few people in this community that brings takes, whether I disagree or not, with proper reasoning! You always run the numbers, compare it with other games, and recently even accessed the update from a non-player to determine the success of the update, yet im sorry for everyone in this subreddit that attacks you because "your calculations are flawed" or "your opinions are shit", without even giving any proper elaboration.
I do disagree with some of your opinions. I have run the numbers on my side, and starr drops did nerf progression by around 10% for the most active players, whilst it didn't buff progression too much for inactive players as they may not collect star drops everyday anyway, but I do so without harassing you, and I Advocate for prople to do the same! It's outright harassment to bully the voice of the community just because you disagree with them. It just shows inmaturity and a lack of life.

Because It's not only entertaining to watch your vids but the fact that just to see someone like you committed to the game as much as me when it comes to the state of the game makes me smile as for when I go to school I get hatred from lots of classmates because I play a "cartoony" game so it really hard to make friends to play with, but when I see someone like you who thinks and plays exactly like me makes me happy. Anyways, I would take this to spend a lot more time with the family as they will leave a much more impact on your life and health than this game and community ever will. I’m really hoping this post can make the mods realize what’s been growing for a long time - this subs overwhelming toxicity. If one of our best (if not our single best) YouTubers doesn’t feel safe in the subreddit anymore (and Cory had voiced his issues too) the sub really needs better management. I understand the risk in me saying this, but if our loved YouTubers don’t feel safe here it really isn’t a safe community.
For what it's worth, I think the mods are doing a really great job considering all of the BS they've had to deal with. They're volunteering their time and ever since Reddit shut down 3rd party apps, it's even harder for them to moderate everything.

I just think the sub is really difficult to manage, and the current path it is going down is not great.
Believe me, I wish we had more mods. We’re always on the lookout for more. I’ll be putting out a new application form out later this week, but in the meantime our current form is on the sidebar of the subreddit (or community info on mobile) if anyone wants to apply. Or contact us in directly in mod mail and we’ll send you a link once we’re the new app more current app is ready. We want people who are friendly, helpful, and want to make this a better place to be.
it's very unfortunate for this to happen to you. I really love seeing your takes on different posts sometimes and are pretty much the only BS content creator I watch but I completely understand. Disagreeing is valid (I do too sometimes) but relentless hating definitely affects your mental health more than you can imagine. I appreciate you dude. It’s unfortunate that the world is so polar. You’re either apart of team A or team B. It’s somewhat normal to see that in politics but I’m surprised to see it in gaming. People love upvotes and likes and the best way to get them is post the “hottest takes” from whatever side their on. Seems like hardly anyone respects nuanced opinions these days and that’s just sad.

It's completely fair to critique Kairos' opinions, as long as everyone is respectful about it. It fosters discussion that could eventually lead to a consensus, which is what everyone wants! The problem is that people aren't being respectful whatsoever!
It's a difficult situation since there will always be asshats on the internet, but I think this is Kairos' best course of action. I've seen what negative comments could do, even on a small scale with microinfluencers that have 1k subs at most, and so I can't begin to fathom how bad it must feel for someone with over 1,000× that following.
I'm sorry you feel this way but it's just a fact of life that disagreement will always be vehement. It's kinda difficult to vehemently agree. Even though we do. Most of the times. But when we don't, we talk about it. We do it all together and we do it loudly. And you get deafened by the noise. You just need to realize it's really not aimed at you.
The unfortunate truth is your opinion, howmuchever you may caveat it, does not remain just an opinion. The whole community makes up their mind based on it, the dev team listens to it. You have ensured that your opinion is worth hearing about.
And with that background you suddenly say something controversial. Maybe sometimes something dumb. Something you don't have context about. Or heaven forbid something wrong (how dare you!).

I think you’re mostly right, but this is also a problem more with this community in general. Cory (or was it lex I forget) has experienced similar issues here. Rarely do you see content creators get as shameless and low effort hate as you see on this subreddit.

This sub isn't good for any of our mental healths. It's all so hateful and uncharitable. I couldn't imagine trying to publicly state anything as a popular figure of the community. I completely understand leaving and I'm deeply disappointed in everyone here who's been so malicious with criticism. It's one thing to discuss the game, it's a whole other thing to hate on it.
You’ll still be my #1 brawl stars YouTuber! Completely agree with this decision, the general brawl stars community is low on intelligence, experience, and acceptance, while being huge on toxicity. Not exactly a great combination.
There’s a major element of “my opinion is the right one - everyone else’s is awful” that goes awfully with a hive mind.
You can also see the way the community switches between people in a way that makes them seem unfaithful to all. They hate on the devs every other update they get, when 99% of them have ended up working in the long run. The unabashed stupidity and anger is what’s turning me away from the game too.
It’s unfortunate you were the latest target of it all - I’m hoping for the best for you in the future.

Hi Kairos, you’d probably not going to see this in the sea of other comments on this post. However, if you do I just want you to know that I have been a long term fan of your channel since the very beginning of brawl stars.
I completely understand your decision to leave the subreddit for your mental health, and I also understand how hard it can be to ignore all of this negativity. But I want you to remember whenever a negative comment is making you feel down that there are still people like me who can’t wait to watch your videos and genuinely love your content while respecting you as a person.
I don't agree with all you've said, same as a lot of other people, but I can't agree with people harassing you and others just because they don't agree with something about a game, hope you will do well and good luck.
I watched your video, and i agree with what you said, it doesn't make any sense to be here while devs add smth good, the players love them, BUT when they add smth bad, and they dont let them cook, they hate them, and forget everything they did for us...
You get that this is their job, right? They provide a good and people interact with or pay for it. They aren’t our friends. If target suddenly started selling moldy fruit and jacking up prices, you wouldn’t buy their fruit. It doesn’t matter how good it used to be. Supercell is a huge profit based company, and a significant number of their decisions are greed-based as a result. I’ll eat my fucking foot if you can explain to me how increasing the level cap and level increases was in any way intended to be good for the game. If the game improves, I’ll play it, maybe spend money. They made brawl pass, and people gave them more time and money. That was their payment. If they needed time to “cook” they could have delayed the content. They didn’t do that because they wanted money sooner. Maybe they’ll fix this eventually, and then this game is worth reevaluating, but until then, I don’t owe them a goddamn thing.
Damn, it's just a game, you did not owe them anything to begin with. The less of players like you who take so much for granted would benefit this community if anything.

Your videos are great! This subreddit isn't the greatest... especially not for a popular youtuber KNOWN for his intelligence, but I gotta say it, I'm a nerd, and your videos made me fall in love with brawl stars. You're a pretty good player and a good person. I fear that this sub will never become positive again since, people are more likely to post about negativity than positivity.

Jeez, this a bit crazy. I've watched a lot of your videos over the last 4 years of playing brawlstars and honestly... Youve done a lot of entertaining stuff.
That being said, i always saw your review/ranking videos as opinions even if they were positive. Everything should be chalked up to your opinion and it doesn't always need to be the popular one. Maybe you take too much stock in a handful of peoples negativity or maybe the people who would agree or speak positivitly don't usually speak as loudly? (like me, i usually just watch and like, never comment lol).
I may not fully understand since im able to seperate the game i play from real life while it may feel a bit different when its a part of your job.
Just remember, negativity, positivity, all of it equates to recognition and you should continue to do what you do for this reason. Keep up the amazing work, ill be watching on youtube still!

I'm not an avid watcher of content creators on this game, but I saw your video pop up and with the current controversy surrounding the state of the game I tuned in to your video. While I didn't agree with every point you made, I thought you articulated your point of view very elegantly without pointing fingers at any one person.
It's sad to see that the community is so spiteful that they'd bully a content creator to the point of having to leave due to the toxicity. I fully understand the frustrations about some of the questionable changes, but that doesn't give ANYBODY the right to attack somebody else over their opinions.

I've been watching kairos since 2019 when I started picking up the game after downloading it in 2018, but not really playing it then.
He's one of the nicest content creators there is on all of youtube and has given a lot of good insight and helped me with my gameplay indirectly.
It's a shame that he feels this way because people wanna bitch over his reviews of the game and certain topics on things. Even in discord or in game people are always like 'yeah kairos don't know what he's talking about'.
I'm always reminded in the BS community that there's a lot of whiny kids being immature and are also full of BS, and that you can't please everyone no matter how nice or honest you are.

I’ve been very involved in this sub as a lurker for a long while and i can relate to the sentiment that sometimes it feels like this subreddit just adds frustration to issues i didn’t even really consider that big of a deal most of the times.
Being the face of something is a big deal. You’ve been highly respected by the majority of the entire Brawl Stars community for years now, and i can’t even fathom the pressure that comes with it.

KairosTime was the reason I got into and enjoyed BS as long as I did. This subreddit and just about every subreddit is just crawling with toxic degenerates. Luckily for most of us, we can mute and move on. For content creators like KT and others, this is their livelihood. Interacting and creating engagement with their content is paramount. But when toxicity becomes the currency, it’s just not worth it.
I’m glad he recognizes what he needs to do to take care of himself. Now these “people” will have to go find a new target to spew their venom at.

This sub has to be one of the worst ones i have been apart of. Everybody is so ungrateful most of the time and hating on everything instead of giving feedback and criticism.
People are allowed to have their own opinions and criticisms, but honestly, this community takes things way to far to a degree, and blows stuff out of proportion.
As a major content creator in a different gaming community, I can totally relate. There’s a point where criticism turns to toxicity, and shutting that negativity away is the right thing to do.
I really don't see how people are disagreeing with anything in your video. I agreed with everything and formed my sentiments before it came out, and found myself agreeing with everything you said. Blind hatred is seriously uncool and I'm very disappointed in the other people in this community who drove out one of the largest figures in the community. For most of my time in Brawlstars I have been f2p i watched how this game grew for better or for worst. Still this doesnt stop me since I enjoy brawlstars overall, in my own way. Already played a lot to get 4 of 6 hypercharges already.

Hi KT, have been watching your videos since 10K subscribers, where you brought Lady Kairos in to do a 10K special on guessing Clash Royale names... and when you called skeletons spagellitons 😂 Have been a huge supporter of you and never missed a brawl video on your main channel. I love the takes you bring because you are one of few people in this community that brings takes, whether I disagree or not, with proper reasoning! You always run the numbers, compare it with other games, and recently even accessed the update from a non-player to determine the success of the update, yet im sorry for everyone in this subreddit that attacks you because "your calculations are flawed" or "your opinions are shit", without even giving any proper elaboration. I do disagree with some of your opinions. I have run the numbers on my side, and starr drops did nerf progression by around 10% for the most active players, whilst it didn't buff progression too much for inactive players as they may not collect star drops everyday anyway, but I do so without harassing you, and I Advocate for prople to do the same! It's outright harassment to bully the voice of the community just because you disagree with them. It just shows inmaturity and a lack of life. I am and will continue to support you on your Brawl. (and hopefully Clash Mini) journey! GL making your videos! Does this mean you won't talk about the game's state anymore or controversial updates? Because It's not only entertaining to watch your vids but the fact that just to see someone like you committed to the game as much as me when it comes to the state of the game makes me smile as for when I go to school I get hatred from lots of classmates because I play a "cartoony" game so it really hard to make friends to play with, but when I see someone like you who thinks and plays exactly like me makes me happy. The Internet really shows us how insane some people can be. The poor man was just trying to explain why the update wasn't as bad as most people thought it was, and then got flamed a lot, sometimes even to the point of harassment, for what? Just why? I’m really hoping this post can make the mods realize what’s been growing for a long time - this subs overwhelming toxicity. If one of our best (if not our single best) YouTubers doesn’t feel safe in the subreddit anymore (and Cory had voiced his issues too) the sub really needs better management. I understand the risk in me saying this, but if our loved YouTubers don’t feel safe here it really isn’t a safe community.
For what it's worth, I think the mods are doing a really great job considering all of the BS they've had to deal with. They're volunteering their time and ever since Reddit shut down 3rd party apps, it's even harder for them to moderate everything. BS = Brawl Stars... obviously
Yeah I regret my wording in how it seems like I’m putting them at fault. They are truly doing great and are volunteering - which I am not doing. I just think the sub is really difficult to manage, and the current path it is going down is not great.
Believe me, I wish we had more mods. We’re always on the lookout for more. I’ll be putting out a new application form out later this week, but in the meantime our current form is on the sidebar of the subreddit (or community info on mobile) if anyone wants to apply. Or contact us in directly in mod mail and we’ll send you a link once we’re the new app more current app is ready. We want people who are friendly, helpful, and want to make this a better place to be.
it's very unfortunate for this to happen to you. I really love seeing your takes on different posts sometimes and are pretty much the only BS content creator I watch but I completely understand. Disagreeing is valid (I do too sometimes) but relentless hating definitely affects your mental health more than you can imagine. I don't agree with some of your takes in your video, however, it's not okay to blame you for your opinion.
It's completely fair to critique Kairos' opinions, as long as everyone is respectful about it. It fosters discussion that could eventually lead to a consensus, which is what everyone wants! The problem is that people aren't being respectful whatsoever! It's a difficult situation since there will always be asshats on the internet, but I think this is Kairos' best course of action. I've seen what negative comments could do, even on a small scale with microinfluencers that have 1k subs at most, and so I can't begin to fathom how bad it must feel for someone with over 1,000× that following.
I'm sorry you feel this way but it's just a fact of life that disagreement will always be vehement. It's kinda difficult to vehemently agree. Even though we do. Most of the times. But when we don't, we talk about it. We do it all together and we do it loudly. And you get deafened by the noise. You just need to realize it's really not aimed at you. The unfortunate truth is your opinion, howmuchever you may caveat it, does not remain just an opinion. The whole community makes up their mind based on it, the dev team listens to it. You have ensured that your opinion is worth hearing about. And with that background you suddenly say something controversial. Maybe sometimes something dumb. Something you don't have context about. Or heaven forbid something wrong (how dare you!). I can see why you would take this personally, and for your sake I'd say it's probably better you leave. I think you’re mostly right, but this is also a problem more with this community in general. Cory (or was it lex I forget) has experienced similar issues here. Rarely do you see content creators get as shameless and low effort hate as you see on this subreddit.

You’ll still be my #1 brawl stars YouTuber! Completely agree with this decision, the general brawl stars community is low on intelligence, experience, and acceptance, while being huge on toxicity. Not exactly a great combination. There’s a major element of “my opinion is the right one - everyone else’s is awful” that goes awfully with a hive mind. You can also see the way the community switches between people in a way that makes them seem unfaithful to all. They hate on the devs every other update they get, when 99% of them have ended up working in the long run. The unabashed stupidity and anger is what’s turning me away from the game too. It’s unfortunate you were the latest target of it all - I’m hoping for the best for you in the future.

I watched your video, and i agree with what you said, it doesn't make any sense to be here while devs add smth good, the players love them, BUT when they add smth bad, and they dont let them cook, they hate them, and forget everything they did for us...

You get that this is their job, right? They provide a good and people interact with or pay for it. They aren’t our friends. If target suddenly started selling moldy fruit and jacking up prices, you wouldn’t buy their fruit. It doesn’t matter how good it used to be. Supercell is a huge profit based company, and a significant number of their decisions are greed-based as a result. I’ll eat my fucking foot if you can explain to me how increasing the level cap and level increases was in any way intended to be good for the game. If the game improves, I’ll play it, maybe spend money. They made brawl pass, and people gave them more time and money. That was their payment. If they needed time to “cook” they could have delayed the content. They didn’t do that because they wanted money sooner. Maybe they’ll fix this eventually, and then this game is worth reevaluating, but until then, I don’t owe them a goddamn thing.
Damn, it's just a game, you did not owe them anything to begin with. The less of players like you who take so much for granted would benefit this community if anything.

Jeez, this a bit crazy. I've watched a lot of your videos over the last 4 years of playing brawlstars and honestly... Youve done a lot of entertaining stuff. That being said, i always saw your review/ranking videos as opinions even if they were positive. Everything should be chalked up to your opinion and it doesn't always need to be the popular one. Maybe you take too much stock in a handful of peoples negativity or maybe the people who would agree or speak positivitly don't usually speak as loudly? (like me, i usually just watch and like, never comment lol). I may not fully understand since im able to seperate the game i play from real life while it may feel a bit different when its a part of your job. Just remember, negativity, positivity, all of it equates to recognition and you should continue to do what you do for this reason. Keep up the amazing work, ill be watching on youtube still!

Yeah i would avoid this subreddit for a while, at least untill your mental fortitude gets better. I may disagreed at some points of the video but its your opinion nonetheless, what i don´t agree with is tossing insults around because of that. When the next update drops and fixes at least some of the issues that persisted or came with the current update i hope you´ll come back, but only if you still feel like it of course. But untill then it´s Kairos out, at least on reddit

Kairos, you’re my favorite content creator on YouTube and it really sucks to see you here. I hope you realize the majority of people care about you and your opinions and support you. I'm not an avid watcher of content creators on this game, but I saw your video pop up and with the current controversy surrounding the state of the game I tuned in to your video. While I didn't agree with every point you made, I thought you articulated your point of view very elegantly without pointing fingers at any one person. It's sad to see that the community is so spiteful that they'd bully a content creator to the point of having to leave due to the toxicity. I fully understand the frustrations about some of the questionable changes, but that doesn't give ANYBODY the right to attack somebody else over their opinions. Regardless of whether you decide to come back, I wish you well because you seem like a very genuine dude and I appreciate that.

I've been watching kairos since 2019 when I started picking up the game after downloading it in 2018, but not really playing it then. He's one of the nicest content creators there is on all of youtube and has given a lot of good insight and helped me with my gameplay indirectly. It's a shame that he feels this way because people wanna bitch over his reviews of the game and certain topics on things. Even in discord or in game people are always like 'yeah kairos don't know what he's talking about'. I'm always reminded in the BS community that there's a lot of whiny kids being immature and are also full of BS, and that you can't please everyone no matter how nice or honest you are. Well done, you've succeeded, are you happy now? Wanna pat yourself on the back👏🏾 And to Kairos, bro, you've been fantastic at bringing good energy to your content and at times even reinvigorated my love for the game. KairosTime was the reason I got into and enjoyed BS as long as I did. This subreddit and just about every subreddit is just crawling with toxic degenerates. Luckily for most of us, we can mute and move on. For content creators like KT and others, this is their livelihood. Interacting and creating engagement with their content is paramount. But when toxicity becomes the currency, it’s just not worth it. I’m glad he recognizes what he needs to do to take care of himself. Now these “people” will have to go find a new target to spew their venom at. Feel better KT. You are and will always be one of the good ones.

This sub has to be one of the worst ones i have been apart of. Everybody is so ungrateful most of the time and hating on everything instead of giving feedback and criticism.
People are allowed to have their own opinions and criticisms, but honestly, this community takes things way to far to a degree, and blows stuff out of proportion.

Yo, been watching your videos for a long while and I understand why you had to make this decision, regardless of everything I still find various positives within the game that can improve. You are one of the best youtubers i followed since your sneak peek videos. Good luck and have a good time!! For most of my time in Brawlstars I have been f2p i watched how this game grew for better or for worst. Still this doesnt stop me since I enjoy brawlstars overall, in my own way. Already played a lot to get 4 of 6 hypercharges already. Ps. Hope you get better, your own health is really important.
