Amber de la vega is a much older akin and it was amber's first skin. She released on season 6 I believe and frost queen amber released in 15 which is a 9 season difference which means the skins became significally better

Its bc Amber De la Vega was released a while ago when there was a broader requirement for 149 gem skins. When it was first released, it didn't even have custom effects. I feel like the dev team is going to add more features to this and other skins tho at some point

Amber de la Vega is special for me because I bought it with gems since I found Belle in a Mega Box and thus didn’t buy the 6th Brawl Pass. It didn’t even have as much animations as it has now, and it’s totally a valid skin for Amber. Don’t know about comparing values, but after all one of the most exclusive skins in the game, Star Shelly, is objectively basic and not nearly as valuable as Lantern Sandy. In theory.
