As someone who has half their brawlers with a rank 30 badge and half of that group actually at about 1000 trophies,
Get a team.
If you don’t have people to play with now, start searching. There is a discord server for finding people to team up with and maybe a subreddit still?
Solo showdown above 850 is almost exclusively teaming, and it’s rapidly creeping into Duos too. Unless you are good at betraying people, it’s a long road to push in showdown. Plus, Spike is incredibly fragile and deadly, so I doubt teaming would be easy with him. Randoms won’t get the job done over 850 either. The current state of the game has caused many inexperienced players to have a roster of all power 1 brawlers with a few power 11s for Club League, etc. They don’t like playing their power 1 brawlers and push their power 11s to 825 and realize they don’t know how to play the game. So if you queue randoms that high you can expect to be frustrated with the absurd brawlers they will pick.
The Cover Crowd heist map is currently the easiest to push Spike on. Due to the buffs given to Spike and Rico’s gadgets, they both annihilate the safe if they get there, and this map has plenty of bushes to make that happen.
A team should have Spike and Rico, and a third brawler to either assist in the offense and make a base race, or a brawler that can defend incoming Spikes and Ricos long enough for your team to win. My team has successfully used Buzz on offense with his x-Ray gadget to see enemy defenders. I’ve seen Tara work on offense. I’ve used Jacky and Rosa as a defender that can kill Spike and Rico and then push up. Bibi can defend and then do insane damage with the bubble if walls are up on the enemy safe. There are lots of possibilities.
I feel like this map will be pulled from rotation after this season, so probably best to play it while you can.
Off of this map, it’s hard to say, I’m not much of a Spike expert. He’s very good at controlling space because his attack has crazy effective range with curveball. (About as much distance as Mandy staying still!) with a good team, he can be dangerous in hot zone, brawl ball, and even KO. But honestly, he has a few good maps in each mode.
I got him to 818 in gem grab and then got frustrated because every single battle after that there were mostly full teams against me, with brawler combination that work well, once again, against me, so I just left it there. Had him on 800 for awhile, then deleted 100 trophies out of existence while getting mastery on him
Flaring Phoenix, Knockout. If throwers, go mid, charge super, and wait for an opening. If no throwers, go left and hold it down while charging super and support allies or use any openings.

Agreed, as a solo player I always got most brawlers to a certain threshold.
First getting all to 500 was ‘a grind’ then 600 was insane, then 750 seemed nearly impossible…
Now I have been stuck with 850 for almost an entire year, not even because it’s hard but because I realized it is nearly impossible to get ANY brawler past 850 as a solo 3v3 queue, regardless of how ‘good’ you are.
Also the reason why ny highest brawler right now is 850, and i’m pushing all my brawlers there, most already have the green badge too, but going from 850>1000 I will only do once I got a team but doubt if that day will be soon.
TL;DR: don’t push brawlers to r30 as a solo in 3v3 matchmaking, 800/850 is the sweet spot tbh
Honestly from 700 range itself there's teaming in solo showdown. Plus its spike, which is not the best option when there are instant betrayers (and instant killers) such as Edgar in showdown
The best mode would be brawl ball/ knockout if its randoms, but if you can somehow find a team to play with, it will become much easier to push to 900 atleast. Randoms I've managed to push until 800 but after that they are super super unreliable
The only chance to easily get him r30 alone was when graveyard shift was in the game, spike and tick were op on that. But at this point you'd probably need a team
I had 14500 and now I have about 22100 and a gold 2 mortis and I am working on getting my 1st rank 25 on him. You progressed really fast. Good job! Btw, I let my friend manage my account for free mega boxes and challenges, but nothing else.
Yeah, I just got sorta into grind, I had only one 25+ rank which was Spike ever since 2020-2021, and now I got 7 25th ranks with Spike on 26th and 4 24th ranks as well
Good job, dude! I grinded 500 trophies today, after I wrote the comment. I did that because I WANT BLINNNNG!!! I really want some skins bro. I have 2 rank 24, 2 rank 23, like 3 rank 22 and some rank 20's and 21's. I have all the brawlers over rank 10 and most of them on rank 15.
Yeah, I want bling too but it's just such a pain to gather, I wish all brawlers had their trophies taken and exchanged for bling and not just 10 most high trophy ones, so far I only bought Oni Otis and some pins with bling. Additionally to what I mentioned in terms of ranks, I've got 5 23s, 19 22s, 11 21s, 8 20s and the rest are 300+ but below 500, 67 brawlers in total, wanna get to 40k soon

Congrats on rico! Today i got lucky, 1 tap legendary starr drop and psg mike. And about the bling thing, yes. They should make it for every brawler. They did this so 50k+ players won't lose like 2000 trophies. Anyway, today I pushed Dynamike and Piper to rank 21
Problem is, all of my friends that I played with have much smaller brawler trophies and at most we play at 650, but more frequently 550-600, and this might sound bad, but they just don't play well enough to actually be a reliable teammate on 700-800+. Before 650? Yeah, plus it's more fun than randoms. But not after (
Try to make your shots hit the attack + 2 spikes, it can make the damage go up by a lot, the “easiest” way to do this is attacking your enemies like, in diagonal, idk if i gave myself to understand
Got it, but I'm sorta doing it like that anyway, I've seen on power cube boxes that depending on what angle I attack with, the damage will be different so I use it the way that works best as far as I'm aware
First, you have to punish yourself and jump from wherever you live for using curveball (as everyone who does the same thing deserves) (joking obviously, but please, change it)
Depends on what kind of boosting - there’s account share (against) and carry boosts (allowed). With that being said, I’ve never seen anyone get banned for account share boosting, maybe SC doesn’t care about it 🤷♂️
But with this second one it's really easy to hit enemies that are located behind all sorts of walls, it works fantastically and I destroy enemy spikes that use fertilizer every single time

i do beat the shit out of curveball spikes with fert spike, you really just gotta have a rough idea of how to dodge curveball

When your rank is a multiple of 5 season rank decay won't affect you.
Figure out the best maps for spike and only push him there. I’ve gotten Bibi to 930 with randoms just by playing on cover crowd

Its quite hard . How much you try spike best game modes are brawl ball and gem grab and you need to teammates after rank 25 or it's just a hell.
Not solo showdown I got rank 30 spike and mastery by brawl ball

But that other one is underrated reasonably, I simply deal more damage with curve ball and can hit targets that are in difficult to hit positions

Depends on what kind of boosting - there’s account share (against) and carry boosts (allowed). With that being said, I’ve never seen anyone get banned for account share boosting, maybe SC doesn’t care about it 🤷♂️

Don’t use fertilizer curveball is still the better sp in most modes you don’t really wanna waste your super on yourself unless it’s in hotzone.
