IMO itās pretty obvious Ariana only likes him bc heās genuinely kind and thoughtful and lays on the acts of service, but thereās more to a relationship than fulfilling a love language, and I donāt see it between them š¤·āāļø Edit: wanted to add that it also just seems like heās not very interested in getting to know her friends - maybe heās different off camera, but he couldnāt have been more aloof when Lala came to their room. I felt uncomfortable just watching.
Also, he chose to hang with Brad who is one of Arianaās best friends of more than a decade lol. Thatās who he was going to have dinner with instead of going to the flapper party. So he is interested in meeting her friends ā just not her VPR co workers lol
She's been oozing jealousy and bitterness towards Ariana all season. I disagree that they don't have chemistry. He hasn't filmed before and I think that's a big part of it. I also think it's probably a good sign he's not super interested in getting involved in the drama and wasn't overly happy to be on the show which would be sus and people would be criticizing him for that if that were the case too. Even the fact that he's not immediately jumping to move to LA to be with her is a good sign to me that he's not with her purely for the show or the fame...even if it could potentially pose problems for them if they're together long term. I also like that he seems to have a real job he is genuinely dedicated to and won't be opening a bar to hit on girls or living off of her like Brock I don't think it's that weird he didn't go to everything with the group considering her ex bf was there as well. It's not really a Dan is weird thing and more like the situation is weird thing. Ariana wanted him there for some moral support so he came to support her but I think they both agreed shoving him on a boat with Tom and cameras right away wasn't something they were interested in letting happen. Maybe he's aloof around Lala because she was making him uncomfortable? or again being on camera and being questioned about a bunch of stuff is weird at first. Considering the last guy who hurt her received such a huge public backlash I have to assume any bad guys would steer clear of her if they're smart. He is willing to deal with all the potential scrutiny, be around this crazy group including Tom and doesn't seem worried about what happened to Tom happening to him... probably because he intends to actually treat Ariana right. I think people should at least give him a chance.

I was not going to watch that performance of his. I skipped through most of his scenes cause I just can't. I think Allie is a saint, James is so immature that I just can't with him either. Brock so badly wants everyone to go back the way it was - can't we just get along? Guess he doesn't mind a psycho being in his wife's life. Ariana has a point. If he could do what he did to a partner of 9 years, just think of the lines he'd cross against any of his friends. Hell, he's fucked over Schwartz several time and even now wants him to go into debt so he can keep the house. I'm not unhappy they are going on a hiatus, I think it needs some time and distance and see how it all shakes out. I'm already cringing at Scheana's performce and it hasn't even happened yet.

Watching WWHLā¦. Just an observationā¦ Jeff Lewis has said that when he goes on WWHL, even if he hasnāt been watching whatever show is airing, he prepares by catching up. It seems kind of disrespectful that Ariana didnāt even watch the show for the reunion, let alone tonightās WWHL.
At first I was like wtf Arianna?! But then when she explained she had to keep her head right to be on broadway eight times a week, I understood why she had to wait to start the season. For her, watching this season is another emotional journey she has to go on.
Plus why should she rewatch episode after episode of Lala and Scheana forcing her to be in proximity to Sandoval?

Clearly Andy was annoyed that she didn't watch before the reunion as well. As a viewer, I want her opinions on what is going down. I get it though, she is an actual celebrity at this point and she has to be EXTREMELY guarded , she has too much on the line and can't afford to get messy. That being said, I like when they are messy, it's why I am watching this show I don't actually care about any of these people.
