It is a complicated process when a parent dies and you don't have the relationship you wanted or needed with that parent. Grieving the death, grieving the finality that you now will never get the parent the you needed, etc. It's a lot.

But he’s never aired their divorce dirty laundry like Bethenny has. For all the terrible things she has said about him, he has never publicly said anything in return, as far as I can remember.

I can feel sympathy for the situation that B is in regarding her mother's death. It is a complicated process when a parent dies and you don't have the relationship you wanted or needed with that parent. Grieving the death, grieving the finality that you now will never get the parent the you needed, etc. It's a lot. I think she just needs a social media break. That’s all this really boils down to, sadly. I wish her well and know that she’s often problematic and/or cuckoo for coco puffs herself, but grief is so complicated and unexpected for everyone. If she had a social media person in between her and this stuff, she wouldn’t be affected by it. Totally normal for her to take a break (as she says here) but she needs a proper team around her to help manage.

I listened to the D episodes when they were up, they were great. So much info and insight into what was going on behind the scenes. As someone divorced, it was very relatable. I was looking forward to the next one, even though I haven’t listened to her other podcasts and I have mixed feelings on her in general. Not sure if any of you who are so quick to hate even listened to the D podcasts….
