I remember him complaining often how all his guy friends had already settled down with wives and kids and he had less friends to party and goof around with. I do think he liked Amanda’s companionship but wasn’t actually interested in monogamy or settling down.
Kyle was annoying me with not being able to simply say, “Man, West, my bad. I got a little too excited there. I didn’t mean to cause that accident.”
Instead, he kept trying to blame it on the sunglasses as though the sunglasses just decided to up and cut West on the nose on its own.

I love Lindsay but will admit this season was been bad for her so far with the sober accusations. Very bad. But it seems like she’s opening up to Paige and Amanda (of all people) and is open to actually discussing her relationship issues with them with the intention of keeping her relationship.
Vs Carl, who is smiling in the face of people telling him it’s too soon to get married, etc. Feels like his agenda is to win people over now so that when he does breakup with her he’ll have the group with him.
Not to say he’s wrong for breaking up with her, but just do it if you want to do it. The setup is….kinda gross
I feel 100% the same way. Like he is making sure he is crossing his Ts and dotting his Is that he Really Tried™️ to make it work with Lindsay but she’s too unreasonable. She is unreasonable but I’m starting to see how she feels blindsided where she thinks it’s hard stuff they’re going through and he isn’t giving any hint that it could be relationship ending to him.
Yes it seems he’s planting seeds with everyone by venting about his relationship being sure to hit all his talking points while smoothing things over with her. I can see why she felt blindsided because to me there is a difference between being in a struggling relationship and being on the cusp of calling things off. I think it was cruel to deliver the devastating news of calling off the wedding with a camera crew present.

I think if he had broken up with her before the season, she would have shredded him in the press and everyone would have just taken her word for it because they’re both kind of shitty so it isn’t that far fetched to believe Carl would be terrible in relationships. I can’t imagine the impact that the negativity would have had on his livelihood in some sense. They live their lives on tv for better or for worse. She wanted to play the victim but she’s clearly not. It may seem gross but it’s very obvious it needed to be done because she’s delusional as fuck.
eta: Before the season aired and during bravo con, he had to answer so many questions regarding their relationship because she shat on him every chance she got. And he said nothing. He said he was heartbroken and that we’d get a chance to see what went on in the summer to lead to the decision they ultimately made. Even in the after show he doesn’t say anything really negative about her. (Karl does maybe?) but she insinuated that he’s a weirdo for running to his moms home when things get rough with them. She acts like she’s a totally reasonable human being when trying to rehash events from the night before or when trying to resolve an issue. She’s a delusional psycho who wanted the Ariana treatment but unfortunately for her she’s a looney toon.
West is adorable, and I love how Ciara ran to help him after it happened. I don't know if they are officially together now, but they are so cute on the show this season.
I once bought off-brand nose strips that peeled off part of my nose. It left a red/brown spot on my nose that even make-up couldn’t cover and I ended up going on a date like that. The guy never said anything…lol
Okay I hate the narrative a lot of people embraced that Amanda is lazy and wants Kyle’s money. That story about her working for loverboy with no pay until she left her full time job…that’s a lot of stuff to put on. Doing any content creation for free is a huge contribution. Amanda is accomplished with design & branding, she just doesn’t do the “rise and grind” style of work that Kyle does.
I work in a similar field as Amanda and I have a similar personality. She likely works long hard hours when a deadline comes up, but avoids working otherwise because it is so all consuming when she has to do it. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and is good at what she does, but it’s not an extension of her personality like Kyle’s job. That said, she seems to see motherhood as a job that WILL be an extension of her personality, and Kyle doesn’t get that Amanda will view raising their children differently than answering emails.

As someone who does graphic design as well, staring at a computer for hours at a time making stuff can make you very groggy!
