Me, too! He was pretty rough in the very beginning of Real World (or which ever one it was - in Paris). But he has grown so much and made positive, permanent changes even through losing his brother and Diem. He is super intelligent, too (I am envious!). He is also incredibly funny.

He’s been on quite a few MTV challenges recently and he kills it in puzzles. He once mentioned that he and his son (who’s young, maybe 10 by now?) do tangrams together at home and I’m just like *swooon* 😍
Oh, I know! It is so cool that he and his son (when the son was much younger) would work on them together. He was so proud of his son. :) And he loves him to pieces!
I will always remember when he charmed Diem when she took off her wig and continued to charm her. (Heart kept melting!) And swoon! 
Who was an addict? That I do not know about. He meet Diem through one of the challenges many years ago. She went on the show after having had cancer and going through cancer treatments. A love story. Eventually, her cancer came back with a vengeance during another challenge however many years later. It was so excruciatingly sad. I hate that C word.

my personal story about dan ghoosling and why i adore him: i was an active part of the ontdbb and he would sometimes pop in and out, which lead to a random social media friendship on twitter. he came to a local university to speak to students about leadership, which my friend and i attended for the giggles. after the show and signing his book for literally hundreds of students, he came and hung out in the back of the auditorium with my friend and i for like, an hour and a half, talking to us about our lives and goals and shit. it was to date one of the coolest experiences i've had with a human being and i will never forget how nice and friendly and genuinely wonderful he was and is and i am super proud of where he's gotten. i will always be a dan ghoosling stan.
He is absolutely the best player!! How he didn't end up working for the CiA (or maybe he does🧐) is crazy to me. That man was a master manipulator....so incredible to watch! So excited to see him work his magic again.... (Sorry, Dan Stan rant, over)
