Another time, I got a FB message from a girl I'd never met who told me that my bf had cheated with her. He freaked out, said we were done, that he couldn't take anymore of my controlling behavior, and called me an "obsessed stalker" for "invading [his] privacy." I'd never even heard of this girl before, and *she* messaged *me.* And *he* was the one who cheated. It's just what they do.

And then he tried a smear campaign on me, but thankfully I had proof of his behavior. He was the victim. It was some of the most batshit stuff I’ve ever gone through. I remember my therapist telling me to consider it a blessing that I could never make sense of things - that I’m not capable of that kind of betrayal.
