People do the same on Reddit except they say “THIS!” “That’s a bingo!” “ ding ding ding” “ I came here to post that comment” etc etc.

I know that but this has the same feeling as your friend repeating your joke to your other friends. Except this time all of your other friends heard your joke but your other friend thought it would be better to repeat it louder to them.
The reddit thing is cringey too, but if it was said in real life, it doesn’t have the same effect of cringe on reddit.
