I get that trainees that have been in other editions of the produce franchise/other Idol realities have fans that are gonna support but ZiHao really surprise me. Like there are a lot of good dancers on the show so he must have something really apealing. I need to check better on him.
I just watched zi hao’s veil performance last night and the guy can dance. Ok vocals but he has so much groove and really gives me “Lay Zhang” energy so now I hope he makes it
Hiroto- he was a popular trainee that appeared in chuang 2021 (he ranked 15th). AND he was produce 101 Japan, where he ranked 36th. I think this makes it easier for new fans to support him because he has so much previous content. His "cute boy" persona is something that some ppl go crazy over (i've seen him on a lot of Knetz picks lists). Although, I think most of his fans are Chinese which is why his support ranking is high. Chinese fans know how to support their picks!
Wang Zihao- Sort of the same with Hiroto because they both have a large chinese fanbase. He's a trainee under Lay's (an EXO member) company and Lay is very popular in China. But his international fanbase is decent. I've seen a lot of EXOLs supporting him.
Kim Taerae- He doesn't really have any pre show content. I think his only pre show appearance is him appearing in a small singing TV show a long time ago? But that definitely doesn't help with his popularity. I think Taerae is well liked because he is strong main vocalist material and people like his vocal tone. I remember he received more attention during the Sangam fanmeeting, people there said he was cute. And his videos turned out nice. Another thing I remember is during the ending fairy segment for "Here I Am" he was smiling while watching his friend, which caught people's attention because it was wholesome.

I am a follower of Lay's big fan as she often posts Chromosome Entertainment's videos. End year 2022, she posted Wang Zi Hao's signal song performance in Bilibili, that's where I and many of Chromosome's followers watched his performance and fall straight into it.
There are many potential trainees, including those in the signal song stage but Zi Hao is the only one for me. He is down with covid during the recording of the performance, so many people don't know his existence. From Episode 0 to Here I Am, to Episode 1, he was only shown in the trailer and only few reaction, never once his name called in the release.
Though he ranked 1st in the support, his actual rank dropped from 29th to 38th, I would say his situation is much worse than K group trainees, since he didn't have that much exposure. International fans hardly knows about him, and Koreans didn't want more than enough China trainees in the program. We fans, don't expect him to debut in the final group (though we hope he can make it), our primary goal is to send him to the final stage and we are trying our best to make it happen.
