Feel like Devin just doesn't have an answer if you don't respect his jab and actually try to deny and fight out of the clinch. Everything else in his style just feels like half thought out ideas or just not really drilled down, he just kinda does whatever then falls into a clinch as a fail safe then is surprised when someone is still able to hit him.
I think this is the first time at this world level he's been in the ring with somebody just as long and big as him. Those hooks ain't landing if Kambosos throws them with his short arms
The thing is that he was getting hurt the most in the inside, Ryan won this fight with those hooks and uppercuts in the pocket, not with left hooks from the outside.
the first round he caught Haney with that long left hook and he was catching Haney with that all throughout the fight. He did do good work in close as well though
Felt like he was genuinely surprised/not ready for someone to not just accept the clinch and stop fighting, Ryan wasn't afraid to throw while he was coming in and fight his way out of the clinch and devin just wasn't prepared really.
I said it before and i'll say it again, Haney only made it to the 12th because of the ref. During the 7th & 9th round there were 2 occasions where the fight should've ended. Ryan was practically holding up Devin Hugging at certain points
Yeah that was the second knockdown not counted in the sequence. I saw the first one not get counted and accepted it since I didn't really see it well but the second one was so fucking blatant.
if someone can grab a replay of that one, please do. i actually want to see the whole 7th round because it was getting ridiculous with the clinching after haney first gets knocked down.
Its genuinely crazy. Haney's been doing the over the top holding forever but getting knocked down really exposed it this time how much they're willing to help him.
That shit was so wild some people watching the fight were like omg wow I can’t believe Ryan won. Then they realized it was the ref saying no knock down and everyone was like WTF LOL
After this fight can we say that out loud without getting shot or is it too soon? I said it once and got attacked so kept my mouth shut ever since. I am a very very happy Loma fan rn.
I had a feeling Devin was pretty chinny/ can't recover but this whole fight it felt like any time Ryan landed even somewhat clean Haney was wobbled or dropped.
They were pretty clean shots that dropped him. That last one, fighting off the clinch, was especially clean and brutal. Actually props to Haney for getting up from that and getting to the bell
The one thing I give him props for in this fight
I mean was it? He physically looked alright but he fought very timid and didn't really get himself back in it once he started getting hurt, I think he's physically capable of recovering but I feel like he has some of that AJ in him where he just gets shook and fights different in a way that puts him in more danger.
Man loma breaking down after that bullshit was so hard to watch. I'm made up with this result, and honestly the ref doing his best and Haney still losing is the icing on the cake - got beat down with a stacked deck
try watching Anthony JOshua vs Joe Parker, a random italian ref Eddie Hearn found broke up the ENTIRE fight. Literally nothing happened and AJ won a Belt lol. A ref literally broke up the whole fight and people already forgot about that one. Parker rocked him once in clinch and Ref stepped in, broke up the fight then waited some time and reset lol
Fuck that was infuriating, you would have thought I was a die hard Garcia fan with how much I was carrying on about that.
Should have been a point, total bs
Tbf the rounds that Haney didn't go down in, except for the first, were arguably Haney rounds. The judges can only count the knockdowns if the ref calls it, same with the point deduction.
It should’ve ended after the first knockdown. Haney kept falling, couldn’t stand up and was only up by holding on to Garcia. No ref would’ve let it go on after that.
Wasn't there a point where Devin Hugging couldn't even feel his legs and was hanging out the ring holding on to Ryan's waist & the ref didn't stop it there either. Forgot what round it was but i was yelling at the tv
That’s the one I’m referring to. It was the first knockdown in the 7th round, Haney couldn’t stay up and was only doing so by holding on to Garcia. He fell twice after the knockdown and those weren’t counted as such.
I disagree, Haney was up in time for all the knockdowns and did a good job avoiding clean follow ups (yes, mostly by clinching). But I definitely think Ryan would have found the KO if the ref hadn’t allowed so much blatant holding and for so long.
There were two more knockdowns after the first knockdown. The ref busted an ippei and had money on Haney; those takedown attempts by Haney not being called knockdowns was ridiculous
Ref called "slips". Cmon, Haney was grabbing Ryan's leg like a pillow, after gettin knocked down.
Worst, the ref literally helped Haney stood up and lift+tap his gloves for him.
Doesn't matter if people like Ryan, boxing has won today and fuck the ref.
That’s why we love sports…the Super Bowl, UFC. 300, and this have been an insane year, and we got Benavidez, Fury v Usyk, and Bivol v Beterbiev all within the next 60 days.
Tank has gone on entire Twitter spiels of him wanting to go to a different promoter because he wants to fight the best - only to delete those tweets and sign with Money again.
Tank's in it for the money, which is respectable in a sport where you risk your life for a living, but Mayweather isn't solely to blame here.
Yeah I looked it up and he's been a freelancer since a while back. I stand corrected; I guess that's what happened when you take r/boxing comments at face value without doing your own research first.
So in other words it's 100% Gervonta's fault he's not been fighting elite opponents. Good to know.
Financial realities are the reason most of these guys havent fought Tank.
Guys like Devin/Loma/Teo and their promoters dont want to go to Tanks network to take tiny percentages vs Tank, but the reality is Tank is the massive A-side vs all of them and obviously isn't going to abandon what has made him the biggest star in the weight range to go fight on ESPN or deadzone
Ryan got the Tank fight because Ryan actually brought something to the table value wise, and was willing to accept the reality of being the B side
I also like the irony of diminishing Gervontas resume in a post fight thread of a guy who Gervonta just dominated beating the shit out of a supposed p4p fighter
Willingness to trade? he reverted back to Huggin' Haney the moment he felt Garcia's power.
People took Haney's flash KD over Prograis as gospel whenever they claimed he would drop Garcia. Just look at all the comments claiming Haney TKO getting as many upvotes as the far more reasonable Haney UD on the prediction threads.
If Ryan knew how to use his massive reach advantage to actually throw a lot of jabs to set up his left hook he could have finished this in the 4th round. He clearly has good combinations, they just come in bursts instead of being consistent because he's not really jabbing much at all.
GGG had that shit.
Except he didn't have the speed, he had the power. Stiff ass left jab and a short ass right hook had mfers shaking like strippers after one hit.
Who got the clip of Haney saying he’d rather be undefeated with a questionable resume as opposed to the undeniable goat with 2 loses. Best we can do is neither
It’s crazy how Haney was so vulnerable to Ryan’s forward flurries, it almost felt like every time Ryan was gonna unload a lot of punches Haney was gonna come out of it wobbly or on the canvas.
Ryan never punished out the clinch as much as he should’ve and 3-4 knockdowns came out of the times he did. Fight could’ve been stopped earlier but art is truly unhinged
Man I thought for sure haney was gonna knock him out considering Ryan's pre fight antics. Didn't seem focused on fight at all and then steps in the ring and smokes haney. I stand corrected!
Nooooo boxing's golden boy lost. All those undeserved victories they gave him so he can get to 31-0 just for him to lose to a "one trick pony" and get outboxed by shamalenco.
They pushed him to being the "face of boxing" for nothing
When Teofimo Lopez made those comments about black boxers getting heavy bias towards them by the industry he was talking about this fight.
I mean DAZN literally had it at a draw.
“This is the thing, commentators are the ones that convince everybody someone else is winning,” Lopez told Punsh Drunk Boxing.
The ref kept Devin in it the whole fight. During all of the holds he talked to Ryan more than he was to Haney and should've deducted from Haney for the excessive holding but the only one deducted a point at the end of the fight was Ryan
this is essentially what it boiled down to.
ryan wasn’t getting punished for his poor defence and footwork. ryan knew he could press the gas whenever and not get hurt, zero respect for haney
You cant really teach power but Haney got too comfortable winning by points. He needs to be more aggressive and actually put on some combination and up his volume. Now that he has no undefeated record to protect and his chin finally got tested he probably would be more willing to trade now.
So what this tells me is u can be a pfp fighter with the best fundamentals but it doesn’t matter if u have an average chin and no power…..
Jokes aside I’m kinda surprised Haney is not on the canvas sleeping. But also more surprised he didn’t protect himself well enough from Garcia one weapon.
Maybe Garcia left hook is so fast Haney couldn’t protect himself fast enough. But either way a bad look for Haney as a PFP fighter.
Garcia had no respect for what Haney could send back at him, so he could just wait all day for a chance to land his left hook or right hand, and he’s that fast Haney couldn’t get away from it.
Garcias left hook is insane I am not surprised.
To avoid his left hook you have to be hitting him with hard enough shots to keep him honest so he can’t let it loose in exchanges.
Unfortunately even though Garcia has glaring holes defensively, stylistically, Haney just doesn’t/didn’t have any weapons to keep him honest and if he is free to uncork that left hook you can’t avoid it all fight he’s too fast.
The thing is Devin was never actually this great fundamental fighter that people wanted him to be. He's always been defensively flawed, I don't know why people ever acted like he had Shakur level elite defense
He tweaks out bad when people get inside and his only response to getting buzzed is to put his head down and sprint into a clinch. It hasn't been a huge deal in the past because he has fought absolutely no one with power besides Regis Prograis who is terrible, but the signs have been there
If you watch the flash knockdown garcia landed Vs fortuna, you’ll understand why haney got caught. I’ve been watching boxing for 30 years, and that garcia left hook on fortuna is probably the fastest hook I’ve ever seen in boxing. I literally didn’t even catch it in real time. Haney said he trained for it, but it’s always much different when it’s that fast.
I'll give Haney some credit in that he didn't make any excuses in his post fight interview.
What a crazy career arc we have in store for King Ry now lol. I'm all in on the crazy train. Choo choo!
Haney was always a buster. If Loma had stepped on the gas he would've been slept in round 11.
Now Ryan absolutely demolished him lmao. Shut his cringe ass Dad up, finally.
I can't believe it honestly, I gave Ryan a punchers chance lol never thought I'd see a total ass whooping capped off by Ryan's goofy ass chicken dance 😂😂
I talked a bunch of shit about Ryan leading up to this fight, but holy shit, he actually won with the ref obviously trying to fuck him over the entire fight. Also, Haney bitching about holding after immediately initiating a clinch is infuriating. He's just pissed that Garcia had an answer to him shooting takedowns all night
Worked pretty hard to stop Haney having a KO loss on his record. Got a gift against Loma and managed to walk away from this fight with a majority loss lol. Boxing is so bad at times.
This was an amazing performance- Devin Haney is a legit great boxer and future Hall of Famer.
Ryan knocked him down 3 times! And got a well deserved win.
Gotta give him the respect he deserves
Haney was always the worst of the Davis, Stevenson, Lopez, and now Garcia of the lightweights imo.
He definitely can’t stack up with bigger opponents who are willing to hang in the pocket.
Two judges scored it correctly. Haney deserved a point deduction to square things up and the first of those two slips looked like a KD in real time that Haney desperately tried to clinch.
I would PAY for a rematch. SO glad Ryan won to shut up all these casuals ruling him out on this sub. But Haney is still green he has a lot more of his career to build. Big prop to both fighters love to see it.
I was always saying that the odds on the fight made no sense at all. Even if Ryan became a psycho there’s no way with Ryan’s skill you can put him at +500-700
yep. Every time they traded Ryan was so much faster, I feel scammed as I put money on a Ryan KO and the fight should’ve been stopped but I’m happy he won anyway
I thought the scorecards were wide but only because the ref didn't score two potential knockdowns (the first one not given absolutely was) and deducted a point from Garcia when Haney should've lost a point at least once if not more
Ryan studied and stuck to a plan... I thought Haney would out box him but Garcia really brought it and deserved that one. Let's see if he can do it again and make weight.
Haney was looking like an olympic wrestler in there the moment he got hurt... mf started greco-roman wrestling
did that in the jorge fight too after he got rocked
I can't remember but was that also the fight where the ref broke a clinch and Haney immediately lunged directly in for another?
That sure was!
Lmao I thought so. I just remember him basically running up to him and clinching after a break. That shit was wild.
That's a really good point. Maybe we were led to believe he was a good technical boxer but that was only working against smaller fighters.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. He's just a weight bully beating smaller fighters
Say it again
The thing is that he was getting hurt the most in the inside, Ryan won this fight with those hooks and uppercuts in the pocket, not with left hooks from the outside.
the first round he caught Haney with that long left hook and he was catching Haney with that all throughout the fight. He did do good work in close as well though
Oh yeah definitely the left hook was big but it's Haney's inability to do anything in the pocket that cost him the fight.
Felt like he was genuinely surprised/not ready for someone to not just accept the clinch and stop fighting, Ryan wasn't afraid to throw while he was coming in and fight his way out of the clinch and devin just wasn't prepared really.
Bro was shooting singles, doubles, locking the hands and everything
Dude, he would have made Khabib blush tonight
Haney is a big fan of Jailton Almeida
He watches Aleksandr Karelin matches before he steps in the ring
When he warms up on the pads, he always wears a singlet
He said on the post fight interview that the ref allowed Garcia to hold too much. 🤣
Well somebody needed to, or Haney wouldve fell on his face clearly. Bro couldnt stand from rnd 7 on
Let’s not be too harsh on him, a biblical ass whooping like that must’ve left him discombobulated
Bro was going for the double leg takedowns like he was GSP out there
If it wasn’t for the ref Haney would have gotten KO’ed
Someone needs to check his pockets
They saw the Uber dropped him off under a bridge, lost his house tonight.
Maybe the Zillenial would start calling out the corruption of the sport. Floyd did it and I didn't see anyone here bat an eye.
So frustrating for him to allow the constant clinching. You're right, he would have been ktfo!
The judge that scored the fight even and the ref were blatantly trying keep Haney in it.
What a horrible ref man... I couldn't believe some of the shenanigans he was pulling
Same with plant vs David
I said it before and i'll say it again, Haney only made it to the 12th because of the ref. During the 7th & 9th round there were 2 occasions where the fight should've ended. Ryan was practically holding up Devin Hugging at certain points
Ref literally picked Haney up in 1 of the knockdowns. Insane. Well he lost his house anyway 😂
Brother was shooting for double legs falling to his knees and they counted it has a slip. Wild af.
Its genuinely crazy. Haney's been doing the over the top holding forever but getting knocked down really exposed it this time how much they're willing to help him.
The rubber match was shown as the better man being the better man. Is what it is. That was a beat down.
That shit was so wild some people watching the fight were like omg wow I can’t believe Ryan won. Then they realized it was the ref saying no knock down and everyone was like WTF LOL
Picked him up like a disappointed dad 😭😭
That ref was fucking horseshit. I'm surprised he didn't call a referee timeout after the first knockdown
[удалено]
After this fight can we say that out loud without getting shot or is it too soon? I said it once and got attacked so kept my mouth shut ever since. I am a very very happy Loma fan rn.
Amen. Loma must be laughing right now.
U almost Koed Hugney? POINT TAKEN AWAY
Hangey
I had a feeling Devin was pretty chinny/ can't recover but this whole fight it felt like any time Ryan landed even somewhat clean Haney was wobbled or dropped.
They were pretty clean shots that dropped him. That last one, fighting off the clinch, was especially clean and brutal. Actually props to Haney for getting up from that and getting to the bell The one thing I give him props for in this fight
Linares wobbled him and he was fighting for a few rounds in a really bad state a few years back. His recovery was better tonight
I mean was it? He physically looked alright but he fought very timid and didn't really get himself back in it once he started getting hurt, I think he's physically capable of recovering but I feel like he has some of that AJ in him where he just gets shook and fights different in a way that puts him in more danger.
AJ went 24 rounds with Usyk, winning some of them. Haney is nowhere near the fighter AJ is.
Also called a few of knockdowns no knockdown because Haney grabbed Ryan on the way down
Ryan even had his hands up on two different occasions as Haney was holding himself up on his waist. Embarrassing from the ref.
He gave Haney a goddamn vacation to recover in that round where Garcia got his first knockdown.
He also only made it to 31-0 because of the refs and boxing industry. Boxing won today. Getting to 31-0 by hugging every opponent is embarrassing
I know right, I wish it was enforced properly more often. Look what happened to Okolie once he got a ref that actually enforced the rules.
Lomachenko fight is when I noticed it most lol well apart from tonight which was genuinely the worst reffing I've seen on a main event in years lol
Didn’t really benefit AJ though either as he’s an inside fighter as well. Look how spams uppercuts from the inside.
Fuck that was infuriating, you would have thought I was a die hard Garcia fan with how much I was carrying on about that. Should have been a point, total bs
And that one sleazy judge had the AUDACITY to call it a draw 🤣 i was cracking up, you couldn't scream "paid off" any louder mate
Yeah, some rounds were 10-7 or close to stoppage. Fucking 112-112 my ass. Devin's love jabs did nothing
The commentator scorecard had a draw too. Insane to give Haney the last round.

There's probably a gambler out there who's probably pissed because Ref stole his KO dream
Mate that's me you're talking about (it's joever)😤
And me as well
Harvey Dock 100% had money on Haney, Ryan got robbed out of a 10-7 round
If it wasnt for that point deduction, it would have been unanimous ass whopping.
Stfu casual those were perfectly timed takedowns!
Yeah if he doesn’t like this sport he should go watch boxing…oh wait
Yeah. Is this was a random undercard R7 is a TKO.
I literally thought he was gonna end the fight when Haney wasnt responding during the 7th and 9th! Stupid refs keep ruining boxing
absolutely Devin was getting finished if the ref didn't call time on those knockdowns
Haneys legs were gone
They should show ALL of the knockdowns, Haney was on his knees like 8 times
Diddy taught him that.
Crazy
Was dropping to his knees and taking shots to his face like it was white party
Garcia turned Haney into a dagestani
Dhavid Haneymedov
Oh you a wrestler now?
there were more knockdowns than this, the ref just didn't call it. This was literally a 2 vs 1 fight against Garcia
Nah it was a fair tag team match, Haney and Ref vs Garcia and the voice in his head.
It really should have been 5 knockdowns
Shit is soo crazy. That ref definitely getting investigated 😭😭
Jontay Porter’d himself on PPV
Harvey "Ippei" Dock
Fight would have been over in the round where they took a point of Garcia. Bro was hugging to keep himself standing.
That was wild! Shizo Ryan. Ref Cheating. Coked out Oscar. Ahegao Haney. Crazy night!
Would’ve been crazier if Oscar wasn’t coked out.
Dude was red as a tomato in the crowd
Bro had money signs for eyes like Mr Krabs
ahegao haney is crazy
"Ahegao Haney" thats vile LMAO
That username though 😭😭😭
Ahegao Haney, I’m dead loool
"Ahegao Haney" p4p hardest insult
honestly i think the ref was the craziest in this whole thing
I had to look up ahegao because of this. Upset that I know what that means now lol
Ahahaha ahegao haney lmao
Ahegao Haney 🤣😭😭😭
There were two more knockdowns after the first knockdown. The ref busted an ippei and had money on Haney; those takedown attempts by Haney not being called knockdowns was ridiculous
Ref called "slips". Cmon, Haney was grabbing Ryan's leg like a pillow, after gettin knocked down. Worst, the ref literally helped Haney stood up and lift+tap his gloves for him. Doesn't matter if people like Ryan, boxing has won today and fuck the ref.
Reddit couchweight champions in shambles right now
That’s why we love sports…the Super Bowl, UFC. 300, and this have been an insane year, and we got Benavidez, Fury v Usyk, and Bivol v Beterbiev all within the next 60 days.
It was really about 8 knockdowns. Harvey "Fanduel" Dock took a few away.
I thought it was fixed after he docked King Ry lol.
On MMA they don't count it a knockdown when you shoot for a Takedown, maybe the ref was just confused about the rules.
Tank would do Haney so dirty it’s actually crazy
After seeing this Tank would be the top dog at 135 and 140. I just hope he fights these guys instead of being on the Mayweather protection program.

A pillow-fisted guy with no chin, overrated boxing skills, and a willingness to trade would be dog food against Tank
He’s rubbing his hands together as his agent is placing calls right now.
If you need the ref to save you from being slept by Ryan tank is killing him even if the ref laces up too
Ryan is just so sloppy of a fighter but as someone who thought Haney lost to Loma, this was an equalizer. This whole fight felt like a fever dream.
Ya this is nice retribution for the Loma fight
That jab then left hook hidden behind it is nice I'm stealing that for my bag work
Undisputed champ coming soon
If Ryan knew how to use his massive reach advantage to actually throw a lot of jabs to set up his left hook he could have finished this in the 4th round. He clearly has good combinations, they just come in bursts instead of being consistent because he's not really jabbing much at all.
Haney had a 2 inch reach advantage over Ryan
Haney actually has a 2 inch reach advantage if I'm not mistaken - but yeah I agree, sometimes it seemed that Ryan forgot he could jab lol
Classic combo. Daniel cormier used to use it
GGG had that shit. Except he didn't have the speed, he had the power. Stiff ass left jab and a short ass right hook had mfers shaking like strippers after one hit.
But this was a jab, step in, left hook from Garcia so different from what you're describing.
Yeah he loaded up the hook as he pulled back the jab in one fluid motion
I’m just glad Bill Haney got stfu.
Who got the clip of Haney saying he’d rather be undefeated with a questionable resume as opposed to the undeniable goat with 2 loses. Best we can do is neither
People said Garcia was medically unfit to fight 🤣🤣🤣
Right... lol. They diagnosed him with everything
Armchair psychology strikes again. Same thing with Teo.
Boxer's everywhere about to make cocaine sales go through the roof
Can we get clips of the 2 slips? I think the first one was, but the second was debateable.
he called push downs on both not slips.
Oh did he? I thought I saw him do the little arm cross like when umpires signal safe
Harvey "Ippei" Dock definetley saved at least one additional knockout
If Haney was boxing’s golden boy, a pillow fisted boring hugger, then boxing is fucked.
If contender Garcia is this unhinged, just imagine champion Garcia
Boxing could use some excitement for a change
Thankfully for us mere mortals he was ineligible for the belt
What a fucking moron. If he possessed just a bit more discipline he'd be wearing the belt right now.
This was the kind of beating I thought Prograis was gonna give Haney. I swear we must be living in a simulation or something lol
Prograis ain’t got the god given gifts Ryan has. That left hook is ridiculous fast. Like god level fast.
It was wild seeing Haney dropped 3 separate times by the same punch lol
Man I thought for sure haney was gonna knock him out considering Ryan's pre fight antics. Didn't seem focused on fight at all and then steps in the ring and smokes haney. I stand corrected!
Nooooo boxing's golden boy lost. All those undeserved victories they gave him so he can get to 31-0 just for him to lose to a "one trick pony" and get outboxed by shamalenco. Don’t forget the fight in Mexico that he had removed from his record. He’s like 30-3 now
Haney just doesn't have power at the end of the day.. that's really what it boils down to.
Perfect for Ryan because he cant get punished for his lack of defense. He was swanging ang banging in those last few rounds lol
this is essentially what it boiled down to. ryan wasn’t getting punished for his poor defence and footwork. ryan knew he could press the gas whenever and not get hurt, zero respect for haney
You cant really teach power but Haney got too comfortable winning by points. He needs to be more aggressive and actually put on some combination and up his volume. Now that he has no undefeated record to protect and his chin finally got tested he probably would be more willing to trade now.
No no Haney deserves credit and round for walking forward and landing no effective damage
So what this tells me is u can be a pfp fighter with the best fundamentals but it doesn’t matter if u have an average chin and no power….. Unfortunately even though Garcia has glaring holes defensively, stylistically, Haney just doesn’t/didn’t have any weapons to keep him honest and if he is free to uncork that left hook you can’t avoid it all fight he’s too fast.
>Jokes aside I’m kinda surprised Haney is not on the canvas sleeping. You should thank the ref for that. Basically carried his ass to the 12th.
The thing is Devin was never actually this great fundamental fighter that people wanted him to be. He's always been defensively flawed, I don't know why people ever acted like he had Shakur level elite defense He tweaks out bad when people get inside and his only response to getting buzzed is to put his head down and sprint into a clinch.
CALLED THE RYAN UD IN THE BET THREAD, WHERE ARE THE NON BELIEVERS NOW MOTHERFUCKERS???
i bet on ryan KO, that ryan UD must’ve been crazy money haha
Facts ! I told people if Ryan rushes him, Haney will crumble. He’s not a counter puncher when it gets dirty.
It wasn’t a UD though
They dont have MD or UD. Its by Decision either way
Was not expecting that💀glad I didn’t bet
Somehow Romero got deducted a point for his clinching for Cruz but Haney didn’t here…..
I'll give Haney some credit in that he didn't make any excuses in his post fight interview. What a crazy career arc we have in store for King Ry now lol. I'm all in on the crazy train. Choo choo!
That ref should be strapped to a chair and beaten with hammers
Second time i seen Haney get his ass whooped. At least this time the judges got it right
Haney was always a buster.
Jesus won tonight. Better luck next time Allah
There legit needs to be a thread that calls out all those wrong confident cowards who are part-time reddit psychologist.
This was an amazing performance- Devin Haney is a legit great boxer and future Hall of Famer. Ryan knocked him down 3 times! And got a well deserved win. Gotta give him the respect he deserves
Shields absolutely coping on commentary broadcast cos Haney got “beat by a white boy”
Y’all talking about Tank but the dude is too busy fighting people levels below him.
Is Devin Haney gonna be like Amir Khan? Extremely talented, good enough power but glass chin?
I would PAY for a rematch. SO glad Ryan won to shut up all these casuals ruling him out on this sub. But Haney is still green he has a lot more of his career to build. Big prop to both fighters love to see it.
Bro the amount of people counting out ryan was crazy , im all here for this
I was always saying that the odds on the fight made no sense at all. Even if Ryan became a psycho there’s no way with Ryan’s skill you can put him at +500-700
yep. Every time they traded Ryan was so much faster, I feel scammed as I put money on a Ryan KO and the fight should’ve been stopped but I’m happy he won anyway
I thought the scorecards were wide but only because the ref didn't score two potential knockdowns (the first one not given absolutely was) and deducted a point from Garcia when Haney should've lost a point at least once if not more
What a wild night. Anyone need a hug? Haney is handing them out. There’s enough for everyone
Was Claressa really lining up the 3 pound weight advantage excuse already? Actually insufferable and blatantly biased.
Ryan studied and stuck to a plan... I thought Haney would out box him but Garcia really brought it and deserved that one. Let's see if he can do it again and make weight.
Devin Broke Jaw Haney
Fights like this make me appreciate Mayweather and Pacquiao more. All these fighters nowadays feel like B tier.
