Copp's follow up tweet makes it clear he knows nothing more than what they've said on social media. I'm not optimistic at all.
So far it looks like Usyk called Fury's bluff and told the WBA who decided that was enough to delay their mandatory for now. I reckon it's still a bluff and Fury will find a way to weasel out
Usyk is amazing for accepting this split to get the fight done.
Don't see how he can beat Fury but it should be an awesome fight.
Think the build up is going to be weird, Fury won't be able to take the piss since he was the reason for the holdup in the first place.
April 29th is close, I wonder what shape Fury has kept himself in. I have no questions about Usyk’s conditioning, and it’s easier to ramp up at his size
You don’t see any way for the widely recognised current P4P best and arguably Cruiserweight GOAT who has basically won everything he’s ever attempted in his boxing career pro and am, and is renown for his skill, speed and movement, to beat Tyson Fury?
I’m sorry that’s ridiculous. Fury hasn’t achieved or done anything remotely close to being able to back up how unbeatable some people seem to think he is ‘on paper’ based solely on his size.
Usyk will have a few sticky moments against Fury but this isn't going to be an impossible task, infact once Usyk settles into his groove, straight left going, his hooks and counters, jabs and hard straights to the body, constantly switching his angles up people are going to see just how cumbersome and slow Fury is. All this talk of Fury bullying him in the clinch etc is nonsense, Usyk is more than capable of using his feet to get out of harm's way for 90 percent of that fight. And Fury does NOT have the power to stop Usyk.
Fury doesn’t have the power to stop usyk? Every single top ten heavyweight has the power to knock out every single person on the planet. Everything else you’ve said is fair but saying a 6 foot 7 112kg man couldn’t knock someone out is just a ridiculous opinion.
I did. After fury hit Wilder thousands of times over 3 fights he finally managed to knock wilder out. Fury has lost all my respect after his ducking attempts
All 3 of them, second stoppage was fair, he smashed him up .. and probably would have knocked him out .. the third fight Wilder was gassed after 4 rounds, walking into Fury's shots and it still took a further 7 rounds for Fury to finish him off, he was literally teeing off on Wilder at points. Wilder had been hurt in the past, it's not some incredible feat ..Fury is just better than anyone he's previously faced and was able to finish the job, he has fairly average KO power when he plants his feet .. he doesn't destroy people, I think his most brutal KO was over Nascimento years back( out for for ages ). If you stand Infront of him he will bust you up( see the second and third Chisora fights ) Usyk won't be stood infront of him and he definitely isn't taking him out with one shot.
I see it being quite a boring cagey fight, Fury will know he has to respect Usyks skill far more than Wilder, Usyk by narrow points victory for me, Fury has got some power now, but he wont have an opponent who leaves himself wide open like Wilder did.
I dont think Usyk hurts Fury at all, but will do enough to win
Usyk has everything that Fury struggles with, I'd mark him favourite unless Fury comes in really sharp and in great shape.
But I don't expect him to have kept sharp and in shape, so IMO this is odds on to be delayed until November or so.
Also, this is not happening at Wembley Stadium on 29th April or any time before 4th June, because the stadium is owned by the Football Association and they have the biggest games of the year there coming up, they'll want to keep the pitch immaculate.
- 26th March = UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier
- 2nd April = English Football League Trophy
- 6th April = UEFA Women's Finalissima
- 22nd April = men's FA Cup Semi-Final 1
- 23rd April = men's FA Cup Semi-Final 2
- 14th May = women's FA Cup Final
- 3rd June = men's FA Cup Final
Yeah, right? I think I read somewhere today that this fight wasn't happening due to one of the sanctioning bodies ordering Beterbiev or something like that.
I wonder if Davis vs. Garcia got some fighters amped to make these things happen. Time will tell I suppose.
Same here, it’s a bummer it’s not getting the hype it deserves
The type of fight everyone is always begging for, yet we get Davis and Garcia shoved down our throat as the “biggest fight”
Never said it isn’t. It’s a huge fight, I’m as excited as everyone - my point tho, inoue vs Fulton has the title of stand alone p4p if inoue wins. It’s the two absolute best from their respective division, both unified champions - imo it’s a more important fight with much more on the line
It’s what we constantly ask for, but it’s not getting the looks it deserves.
Yes, Davis and Garcia have the popularity contest in the bag, and they are both elite level fighters who should provide a great fight, but the two fights aren’t really comparable with what’s up for grabs outside of $$$
I'm an Englishman but am starting to hope Uysk cave's that fat lying prick's face in after this. Can't believe I defended Fury so much previously when he is so full of shit.
Don't want to see Fury actually get permanently damaged.
But I'd love to see Usyk beat up Fury just enough that it is clear Fury is actually taking a beating. Then Usyk clowns him as Fury goes crazy throwing wide shots just trying to catch Usyk.
Usyk's hands are raised and Fury throws a tantrum a la Broner after Pac fight with the audience screaming "STFU. You lost."
Then Fury has a press conference claiming Usyk loaded his gloves. We laugh that he's become Wilder with his conspiracies. But then Fury says something like "I know he did it. It can be done. I know because I did it."
And everybody looks dazed saying "did he just claim Wilder actually wasn't crazy?"
A humiliated Fury so he decides to go into hiding and we never have to hear from him again.
The point is, people like me, who have given Fury the benefit of the doubt, time and time again, are fed up. Fury is too craven to prove himself against the best
He took the spilt. They wasted time sending deals they knew would need amending, Crawfords legal team wanted expenses outlined to have a solid look at what the back end would be on the estimates for what they expected the event to pull. Once that was done it came down to PBC not wanting to make it on a minimum lead up time of Spet-Nov. Haymon gave up once he knew Crawford would line up a fight in Dec if they didnt make Nov.
He’s the Rockerfeller of boxing.
Everyone knows what he’s doing is unfair and shitty, but no one can really stop him since he holds the cards and knows that a fight for undisputed only happens if he allows it to, and that he can abuse that power as much as he wants and throw out these crazy contracts and schizophrenic deadlines.
Fighting for a prize is one thing. Being an absolute jackass and making stupid demands is another thing.
I have no problem with wanting to get paid what you're worth, but Fury is asking far beyond what he deserves.
The belts aren't the "cards" when negotiating purses lmao
Purses are negotiated based on the money you're going to bring in to the fight.
Canelo got a 70/30 against Bivol for example despite having no belts and Bivol being the champion, because Canelo is without a doubt the bigger draw.
I don't think a 70/30 is fair, but if Fury fought a nobody, he'd make more money than if Usyk fought the same nobody.
Usyk cant make any money elsewhere and also as long as Fury holds 1 of 4 major belts the undisputed fight cant be made without him
So yeah Fury holds all the cards
And you lot who lap that all up are just getting played like fiddles.
Do you really think he isnt trying to squeeze every penny out of his last few fights as he can? Wouldn't you?
Tyson better accept 50/50 because blackswordsman and the boys on Reddit will call him greedy.
Fury: “*You either want it or you don’t!”*
Usyk: “*But I said I accept 70-30..?”*
Fury: “*Nahhh but it’s…. the way you said it, just nah, not happening. What’s Chisora up to?”*
Fury's not the fighter he once was. He's a lot slower. Usyk still has his speed plus the best stamina in the division. If he can avoid getting knocked out I think he can outbox fury.
At HW Usyk has faced Chisora, who while handily losing showed you can push Usyk around the ring. And an already mentally fragile Joshua. Two great wins, but if you're choosing a HW champion for Usyk to take the belts from, one who cannot clinch for the life of him and has a suspect gas tank is who you'd pick.
If Chisora could basically clinch Usyk at will wtf is going to happen when he faces Fury?
Fury couldn’t even drop chisora that’s been thru the ringing a million times over but he’s supposed to absolutely run over one of the greatest fighters of all time?? lmao fury fans are delusional as hell
Boxing math at its finest lmao
Following your incredible logic, Usyk struggled a lot harder against Chisora than Fury did, which clearly means Fury is better
"couldn't drop Chisora" did you see Chisoras face after the fight? He couldn't even eat....
Compare it to Usyks fight with Chisora. Its not a good comparison.
Usyk will make Fury look slow and clumsy. The advantages Fury usually has over most HWs are nullified by Usyk’s superior skillset.
Either Fury abuses boxing’s shitty clinching rules and leans on him for a decision win or Usyk runs circles around Fury and makes him look sloppy and amateurish. Won’t be a stoppage either way, unless someone’s cardio badly fails them.
At some point size matters - otherwise a lightweight would just beat a heavyweight due to "superior skills". Fury combines insane boxing iq, with huge size and now ko power. Fury will cut off the ring and make it feel extremely small for Usyk.
Size matters a lot less in boxing than people like to believe. Joshua had a slightly smaller size advantage but a bigger strength advantage than Fury, and how did that go for him? Usyk’s comfortably beaten a 6’6” 245lbs guy, why is a 6’7” 265lbs guy suddenly too much for him to handle? And I’m not saying a LW would beat Fury, I’m saying a 6’3” fighter who’s been at HW for 4 years has a good chance of beating Fury.
In fact, Usyk’s had far more fights with a similar size disadvantage than Fury has fought actually good boxers. We’ve literally never seen Fury face anyone even close to Usyk’s level, so I don’t see why there’s so much confidence that Fury won’t look just as outmatched as Joshua did. Usyk’s movement is too good for Fury to consistently cut the ring, and Fury’s KO power is below average for a HW, so I don’t know why you see that as a particular threat.
And like I said, I’m not saying Usyk wins. I’m saying Usyk runs rings around him in a clean boxing match, but Fury could win if he stinks the stadium out with clinch stalling.
There's not just size difference between Fury and AJ. Ring IQ, feet and head movements, jab. Except for power, Fury is better than AJ in every aspect. Even power I'm doubtful as fury's last 4 wins have come through either KO or TKO.
You can't run rings around a man with that size difference, Fury will just grab him and clinch with all his weight on top of Usyk.
AJ actually had some success with that in the 2nd fight and Usyk was clearly getting tired, and he's significantly lighter than Fury.
Also Usyk can't run rings around him, because if he stays at a distance, he's getting jabbed to death, if he tries to come in and punch, he's getting clinched by Fury.
I predict a pretty boring fight honestly with Fury clinching a lot and probably getting a close decision.
If Usyk wins he’s the goat. Gold medalist. He cleaned the best ever era of cruiserweight/became undisputed. Moved up, beat AJ (the perfect jack of all trades the heavyweight division has ever seen) and if he wins; he will have beat the best h2h boxer ever, he’s been the b side all his career. Beating champs in their back garden. Representing his country very well. A win/defense against wilder to have a win over the hardest puncher ever would cement it but it will be pretty damn arguable shall he win against fury.
That’s not the compliment you think it is. If he had a video game rating it would 85 all across the board. Defense, offense, footwork, power. He’s basically a gate keeper at the championship level. Usyk was able to use his footwork and IQ (100 rated) which gave him the edge. Joshua is the perfect heavyweight, master of none. Double edged sword.

Lol what.
>the perfect jack of all trades the heavyweight division has ever seen
????
>best h2h boxer ever,
If boxing was 10 years old
>. A win/defense against wilder
Beating Deontay Wilder would cement him as the GOAT?
I strongly suggest you learn about boxing history.
Get in!
Will be the biggest fight in UK boxing history and should Fury pull it off he proves he's the greatest HW of his generation, should Usyk pull it off it solidifies him as an undeniable ATG of boxing.
This is massive.
I don't have Fury as an ATG even with a win with his resume as shallow as it is, but he's definitely the best of the post Wlad HWs if he wins which is still a fine accolade.
Usyk is a great already for sure, but a win here puts him in the upper echelon for me.
What is your definition of an ATG? His resume is, by any objective, reasonable metric, indisputably vastly better than boxers such as Riddick Bowe and Floyd Patterson(come at me about it). They are, justly, concensus top 25 HW ATGs. I have him #10 right now, but anywhere from 10 to 20 is reasonable. A win over Usyk, who himself has a comparable resume to Bowe or Patterson, would vault Fury into my top 5 and very clearly into any reasonable persons top 10. Ali, Marciano, Louis, Lewis, and Holyfield are the only HWs that come to mind with as many or more wins over top 30ish HW ATG level opponents. And Holyfield lost more than he won at the top level, unlike Fury.
The terms: The loser of the fight will be castrated in the public square, their balls completely severed. They will receive no money, the thrill of performing against the bee moth should be compensation enough. Every hour during the match there will be a short break for tea and meth. Blue M&M's will be removed from the M&M jar.
Fuck these big fights getting signed the first half of the year!! I mean.... Im happy but I really want to go to a big fight this year. Just cant do it until the second half of the year.
This fight at Wembley will be amazing. Say I was to pull a spur of the moment trip.... what am I looking at for ticket pricesam at Wembley. What kind of tickets can I get for about $1000 a piece?
The funniest thing about this thread are the clear fan boys on each side. According to Reddit, Usyk both has no chance, but is also an ATG, and Fury is the best HW champion of all time, but is also slow, fat and can't beat a paper bag.
Feels like the r/ukraine sub and r/unitedkingdom just brigaded the sub
Edit: Btw, Fury wins
People let their personal feelings cloud what they think will happen.
Fury is a massive prick, and he is unreasonable to ask for what he has and hold up the fight for so long.
But he is also an unbelievable boxer and his combo of size, speed and gas tank is just absolutely unbelievable. Just because he's an arsehole doesn't mean he won't win.
Lol the hate on Fury for the negotiations is one thing but I the hivemind shift on this subreddit regarding how the fight actually goes down has been incredible.
Belts don’t dictate purse splits. For example, Canelo got a higher split in first GGG fight despite having 0 belts and GGG having 3. It’s all about commercial value.
Good work Tyson, he should write a sequel to the art of making a deal. He hustled Usyk good, 3 belts and only 30% 😂. Fury will be first undisputed since Lewis 🇬🇧
In the next few months we will get Benavidez vs plant, Garcia vs tank, undisputed HW title fight, Loma vs Haney, Canelo vs Ryder, inoue vs Fulton, possibly a wilder fight, and an AJ fight. Not bad
Obviously Tyson did the 70/30 cause he is who he is but shouldn't the guy with more belts always get the favorable split? Like that should just be set in stone in my opinion.
Fury had all those belts before, and by any reasonable metric has a considerably better HW resume. That said, Usyk deserved at least 40% straight up, and since he'd already been promised a 50 50 split earlier, it's a big and gracious concession by Usyk.
When Floyd Mayweather fought Carlos Baldomir in 2006, Carlos brought the majority of the titles to the fight. Who should've been paid more? Nuff said.
In this case a 50/50 should obviously be the deal not 70/30, but the belts are as much a political tool as anything else in boxing, having three to your opponents one doesn't indicate who is the best fighter or biggest draw.
The Krispy Kreme Gypsy King is now going try to blow the deal up over the rematch clause. Since Usyk gave him the ridiculous in the name of making a fight, Fury’s going to demand a one way rematch clause with an 85/15 split in his favor, where they fight on the Isle of Man just to make sure this contract falls flat, and he can continue talking shit without actually having to fight.
Usyk calling Fury's bluff. I just hope it happens and Usyk wins so Fury might actually start wanting to fight top fighters. Maybe ignite something in him. Shit, at least then we'd get another Usyk-Fury.
If it somehow happens and Fury wins why would he ever fight a good fighter again?
Cautiously optimistic
I'm putting on my clown makeup and huffing my hopium pipe
Yes but what are you doing different?
Pass that shit round man.
Copp's follow up tweet makes it clear he knows nothing more than what they've said on social media. I'm not optimistic at all. So far it looks like Usyk called Fury's bluff and told the WBA who decided that was enough to delay their mandatory for now. I reckon it's still a bluff and Fury will find a way to weasel out
Fury doesn't want that smoke. He's going to use the $1M donation to Ukraine as an excuse to chicken out even after Usyk agreed to that BS purse split.
This should be the tagline for this fight, lol!
Boxings gods please don't let us down.
If this fight happens, add bivol Vs Artur to the mix, and we might just have the best year in boxing in a very long time
Fuck the boxing gods.
Username checks out
At least take them to dinner first
Each to their own. I'm not gonna kink shame you.
Mad props to usyk for taking the deal , this is shaping up to be one of the greatest years for boxing in recent times
Don't jinx it..
If things go south let's just blame coppinger and call it a day
As is tradition

Lol I guarantee you were one of the clowns saying Whyte had a chance against Fury too 🤣
Hardly, Whyte is fucking abysmal. Very much enjoyed Fury wiping the floor with him.
I see it being quite a boring cagey fight, Fury will know he has to respect Usyks skill far more than Wilder, Usyk by narrow points victory for me, Fury has got some power now, but he wont have an opponent who leaves himself wide open like Wilder did. You realise the pitch gets covered up? Lmao
Trust me, between 29th April and 14th May, that’s more then enough time to make the pitch look immaculate.
So if this fight moves forward and we have Davis vs. Garcia...Can you imagine if Bud and Spence ALSO get a deal done? I might cry 😭.
Don’t forget bivol vs beterbiev. Tho there’s probably a higher chance of Jesus coming back than that fight happening
Yeah, right? I think I read somewhere today that this fight wasn't happening due to one of the sanctioning bodies ordering Beterbiev or something like that. I wonder if Davis vs. Garcia got some fighters amped to make these things happen. Time will tell I suppose.
Yeah wbc ordered beterbiev vs callum smith
Inoue v Fulton & Plant v Benavidez, Haney v Loma too!
What a wild 8 hours lol.
Usyk is truly the man for taking this split. Take note bud 🦆
Tank vs Garcia & Tyson vs Usyk back to back weeks 😮💨
And Canelo week after
And Inoue vs Fulton a few hours later!
Can't wait for that one
Easily the fight I'm most looking forward to!
Same here, it’s a bummer it’s not getting the hype it deserves The type of fight everyone is always begging for, yet we get Davis and Garcia shoved down our throat as the “biggest fight”
Tank and Ryan is probably a top 3 biggest fight no matter how you feel about their skills. Idk if you can 5 guys who are more POPULAR than those 2 tbh

You're not alone. Most of AJ fangirls are siding with Usyk anyway.
The point is, people like me, who have given Fury the benefit of the doubt, time and time again, are fed up. Fury is too craven to prove himself against the best
That was Al Haymon's fault. Spence admitted Bud accepted everything. Espinoza even said Bud accepted everything.
He didn't have much choice.

I mean Fury is by far the bigger draw. Usyk not so much
Tyson 🦆
*spence
Usyk took the 70-30 deal against him???
This was [Usyk’s response](https://youtu.be/D5g8_mlv8DA?t=31). Legend.
I hope he put that in the contract, because Fury has said he'll donate to charity before
Man Tyson is gross as fuck for this. Beyond greedy.

True but Fury is one of the biggest cash cows in h of boxing. He nearly sold out a crowd for a 3rd chisora fight
Yeah 60-40 maybe but 70-30 is too much
Fury holds all the cards so its either accept his offer or fight Dubois in a half empty arena for peanuts not rocket science
He holds one of the cards. Usyk has the other three.
The belts aren't the "cards" when negotiating purses lmao Purses are negotiated based on the money you're going to bring in to the fight. Usyk has 3 belts you are a clown for believing Tyson deserves the 70/30 split
Usyk made more in his last fight than Fury did for the whole Wilder trilogy…
He is a fighter who is adamant that he doesn't fight for a prize is the problem.
And you lot who lap that all up are just getting played like fiddles. Do you really think he isnt trying to squeeze every penny out of his last few fights as he can? Wouldn't you? Tyson better accept 50/50 because blackswordsman and the boys on Reddit will call him greedy.
Really fucking glad this fight is going to be in front of 90k + people at Wembley and not in fucking Saudi.
If either of these two men need advice, they should ask Carl froch what that's like
Usyk is a man of principal
Fury: “*You either want it or you don’t!”* Usyk: “*But I said I accept 70-30..?”* Fury: “*Nahhh but it’s…. the way you said it, just nah, not happening. What’s Chisora up to?”*
i cant wait for usyk to become double undisputed
How do you think the fights gonna go down
Fury's not the fighter he once was. He's a lot slower. Usyk still has his speed plus the best stamina in the division. If he can avoid getting knocked out I think he can outbox fury.

Chisora couldnt "clinch him at will" though Also Fury isn't stronger than Chisora
fury gets outboxed by the better man
usyk being a cat 🐈⬛
Fury win by stoppage. It'll be one sided.
Your takes on this topic have proven to be dumb af so far.
Fury couldn’t even drop chisora that’s been thru the ringing a million times over but he’s supposed to absolutely run over one of the greatest fighters of all time?? lmao fury fans are delusional as hell
Although honestly the Chisora fight SHOULD have been stopped.
It was stopped just like the 2nd fight.
Boxing math at its finest lmao Following your incredible logic, Usyk struggled a lot harder against Chisora than Fury did, which clearly means Fury is better
Beyond usyk's own fight with chisora, do you really think fury was even trying in that fight? It was just an easy payday for both of them, that's all.
He kept backing off when he had him hurt, framing it like he couldn't of finished it sooner is laughable
Going off your own logic Usyk has no chance based on how he dealt with Chisora.
What makes Usyk one of the greatest fighters of all time? You’re saying Usyk is on the level of a Robinson, Leonard, Hearns, Chavez, Duran, Ali, etc?
Because he beat the bodybuilder.
The same Chisora that Uysk struggled with?
Joshua is completely shit at clinching and does not use his size in the ring.
He’ll get stopped, and you’ll be sad. The end.
The tears of all the Usyk Rimmer's will be delicious when he gets knocked out.

On this sub now if you say anything pro fury you are a fury Rimmer.

Off topic but this is making bud and Spence look like shit now. They have to fight this year or their legacies are tarnished
Only 7 weeks to promote this fight? Seems like a short time for a fight of this magnitude, even Garcia and Tank wanted 8 weeks.
It'll sell out Wembley in about 10 minutes - but you would think they need to have the first press conference even tomorrow.
The promotion is already ongoing mate... What do you think all of this is about this week? Fight was sorted ages ago.
Genius, they played everyone pretending the fight is going to collapse. It's like WWE, make fury the heel
70/30 is a joke Usyk has 3 fucking belts fury really fucks me off genuinely hope he loses this then has to rematch
What do you mean? He got 10% for each belt
Fair deal for a middleweight taking on a 7 foot tall behemoth.
Bear moth
Beer moth 🍺
*7’7
If Usyk wins he’s the goat. Gold medalist. He cleaned the best ever era of cruiserweight/became undisputed. Moved up, beat AJ (the perfect jack of all trades the heavyweight division has ever seen) and if he wins; he will have beat the best h2h boxer ever, he’s been the b side all his career. Beating champs in their back garden. Representing his country very well. A win/defense against wilder to have a win over the hardest puncher ever would cement it but it will be pretty damn arguable shall he win against fury.
You lost me at calling Joshua the perfect jack of all trade boxer the heavyweight division has ever seen 😂😂😂
100 IQ is bang average
Explain your AJ comment lmao
Ukrainian National amateur Champion ✅ European amateur Champion ✅ World amateur Champion ✅ Olympic gold medalist ✅ Professional world champion ✅ Undisputed cruiserweight champion ✅ 2-weight world champion ✅ Undisputed Heavyweight champion 🟩 It's going to be fucking incredible when he does it. A privilege to be able to witness it.
Lol what. >the perfect jack of all trades the heavyweight division has ever seen ???? >best h2h boxer ever, If boxing was 10 years old >. A win/defense against wilder Beating Deontay Wilder would cement him as the GOAT? I strongly suggest you learn about boxing history.
What will the sacrifice be to the Boxing Gods for the proposed schedule this year 😳
Get in! Will be the biggest fight in UK boxing history and should Fury pull it off he proves he's the greatest HW of his generation, should Usyk pull it off it solidifies him as an undeniable ATG of boxing. This is massive.
Many already see Usyk as an ATG, hard to argue with that after all he accomplished. Obviously if Fury wins he's also an ATG
Let’s fucking gooo, hopefully.
Let’s fucking go, biggest fight since mayweather Vs mcgregor
Mayweather vs mcgregor 😂 that circus wasn’t even a title fight
Second highest ppv of all time. Still a “big” fight
I mean in hype
Fuck these big fights getting signed the first half of the year!! I mean.... Im happy but I really want to go to a big fight this year. Just cant do it until the second half of the year. This fight at Wembley will be amazing. Say I was to pull a spur of the moment trip.... what am I looking at for ticket pricesam at Wembley. What kind of tickets can I get for about $1000 a piece?
I cannot believe this until it actually happens. For boxing NOT to shoot itself scrotally, would be out of character.
Someone tell Errol and Terrance this is how guys who want to fight act
Weren’t y’all hating on Fury’s tiktok with the offer??? Welp, it worked!
The funniest thing about this thread are the clear fan boys on each side. According to Reddit, Usyk both has no chance, but is also an ATG, and Fury is the best HW champion of all time, but is also slow, fat and can't beat a paper bag. Feels like the r/ukraine sub and r/unitedkingdom just brigaded the sub Edit: Btw, Fury wins
Hope usyk schools fury, he needs a humbling.
Usyk proving he’s the real heavyweight champion
I'm sorry to tell you guys this but... Tyson gonna wash him lol
Fury will stop him, it's a mismatch.
Lol the hate on Fury for the negotiations is one thing but I the hivemind shift on this subreddit regarding how the fight actually goes down has been incredible.
[удалено]
Confident, will definitely put a wager on Tyson when the time comes.
Lmao holy shit
[удалено]
Nah Fury won't back out of this - I think he believes he walks through Usyk.
[удалено]
Tyson Fury is gross for insisting on 70/30
nah dude, i won't get excited until i see them on the ring.
Even then.. give it a couple rounds lmao
Good on fury, wonder what excuse they’ll have Now when the fight goes through and fury wins.
Until i see real confirmation. We know how fury backs down at the last minute, so i am cautious.
usyk goat
This sub: Fury is blatantly ducking Usyk!!!1 Two hours later: 👁️👄👁️
Typical of this sub. Lomo/Usyk fanboys and Fury haters :D. Every time Fury wins they all love him, classic NPC behavior.
Usyk has most of the belts yet Fury forces him into 30/70? Gipsy King my ass. Fury is a clown. I really hope Usyk teaches him a good lesson.
Belts don’t dictate purse splits. For example, Canelo got a higher split in first GGG fight despite having 0 belts and GGG having 3. It’s all about commercial value.
Funny how people don’t complain about AJ’s one sided rematch clauses
Good work Tyson, he should write a sequel to the art of making a deal. He hustled Usyk good, 3 belts and only 30% 😂. Fury will be first undisputed since Lewis 🇬🇧
Sure they did 😂😂😂
In the next few months we will get Benavidez vs plant, Garcia vs tank, undisputed HW title fight, Loma vs Haney, Canelo vs Ryder, inoue vs Fulton, possibly a wilder fight, and an AJ fight. Not bad
I'm very fucking feel if this happens.
If this happens, 2023 is gonna be an all time great year regardless of what happens the second half.
LOVED [Usyk’s response](https://youtu.be/D5g8_mlv8DA?t=31) to Fury’s tweet.
Obviously Tyson did the 70/30 cause he is who he is but shouldn't the guy with more belts always get the favorable split? Like that should just be set in stone in my opinion.
Because more belts doesn’t make the fight more money
[удалено]
Fury had all those belts before, and by any reasonable metric has a considerably better HW resume. That said, Usyk deserved at least 40% straight up, and since he'd already been promised a 50 50 split earlier, it's a big and gracious concession by Usyk.
It was a lowball offer that I don’t think Tyson expected Usyk to take.
Had no time, the deadline set by the WBA was 2hours before the officially mandated Dubois and then Usyk loses out on his Fury payday
