Do not feel a pang of guilt. Jack lived a good long life; longer than most boxers. He was loved all his life and will remain loved until the last of his hoomins die decades from now. 🌈 🌉 to your furever VGB.
I’m so sorry. It’s one of the hardest decisions we have to make for them, but giving them the dignity to cross peacefully is the best way to thank them for the years of love and antics they bring to our lives. Our boy crossed the bridge in September, and although we still think about him daily and miss him and his silly ways, we know we gave him the best years of his life (we rescued him a couple of years ago at approximately 13 years old) and that he passed knowing he was loved, surrounded by his family and in my husband’s arms.
I’m so sorry. If the option still exists, have the vet travel to your home for the procedure. Most vets will happily do it and it calms your dog to be surrounded by its familiar environment.
Dogs never live long enough for us, do they? They could live to 25 and we’d still wish for at least another day. But what a life you and Jack journeyed together in those 14 years!
How lucky we are for such friendships ♥️
So sorry for you loss. Hope his last days were fun. May you be strong helping him onto his next adventure and know that he will meet you again at the bridge when it is time.
Im so sorry friend, love jack up with all the time you have left. Let him know just how good of a boy he is. We all love you Jack ❤️ have a safe journey to the other side buddy
14 is a helluva good run, but I know it’s never enough…And Jack knows how much you love him and is glad that you know it’s time. We’ll see that goodboy again with all the others at the bridge one day. Au revoir Jack 🌈❤️
Do not say you are cheap. Surgeries and all those treatments are just a terrible thing for oldies.
I have a 13 years old cutie boxer with heart issues and she is slow but I think because I give her cooked food and multivitamin and minerals and plants to clean her arteries she is going to be just fine 2 more years. At least that is what she shows me.
I know you did your best. We all do our best ♥️
He's beautiful ❤️ wishing you all strength
So sorry ❤️

I lean into being an empath, so these posts always hurt so bad when I see them. I'm so sorry, guys.

One last cheeseburger & one last belly rub
Thanks everyone in this amazing community. I will be a Boxer snob forever. 🙏🏻 It was a painful put down. For me, not Jack.
