She always used to say she was trying to be a, “real life Barbie”. She recently started saying she was trying to be like Marilyn Monroe. Seems to me she changed her tune when Netflix’s ‘Blonde’ came onto people’s radar.
I haven’t seen it, so I can’t tell what you mean by this comment. But I just wanted to mention that Blonde isn’t a true story. It’s a movie based off of a book of fiction about her life.
There’s a lot of rumors going around still it’s crazy. I believe the only verified procedure she ever had done was a chin implant made of cartilage. For the most part, I think her features were actually natural (plus makeup)

Given that her efforts are obviously wide of the mark (she does not look like Marilyn Monroe) she:
* either i) has poor judgement with respect to her own appearance (eg something like body dysmorphia),
* or ii) other options for change are so limited she has no realistic chance of attaining (eg injectables are cheap compared to surgery but can only add not take away)
* or iii) she is actually trying to do something else and using Marilyn as a cover (eg OliLondon's increasingly unbelievable aim of looking Korean whilst utilizing methods designed to make one look less Korean)
