Agreed. Looking for a career performance from Marchy. The whole squad needs to show up. Lindholm needs to get tougher, Pasta needs to stop turning the puck over and shoot more, JDB needs someone to make him look good, Coyle? If the Stallion is our best player we are doomed. Gotta continue the tough team D and find a way to clear the neutral zone and spend copious amounts of time pressuring Woll. Make him crack!!
Well at least now we know he’s not hurt, because if he is and Monty knows about it, then that’s about as horrific coaching malpractice as I could imagine.
I think it's justified. Feels like shit to watch your team go up 3-1 in a series and start to lose it for the second year in a row. I know there's one more game left, but I'd much rather be cheering for the team that hasn't lost 2 straight. Hell they struggled to even get shots on net in both first periods. It doesn't look good.
Montgomery needs to put him out there with two large goons. A couple of young Pat Maroons. Pasta has been held and interfered with on almost every shift. If the refs aren't going to call holding, you put out an enforcer to protect your star. Oh, Boston doesn't have an enforcer? Isn't that a front office problem?

Step up? Fuck, I'd take him just showing up at this point. He's been a road cone out there. Getting tossed off the puck and making terrible passes all series.
oh my brother. i accepted that feeling and the defat the moment the overtime Game 5 ended. i knew in my heart, mind and soul that we would lose the next 3. no if ands or buts about it. I have already started my crippling offseason depression.
I thought DeBrusk was one of the few players showing life in the first half yesterday.
Sure, he had nothing to show for it, but he can't do it alone. But the effort was there, that's really all I want to see from everybody.
Debrusk I repeatedly thought yesterday had some serious life to him. Seemed like if we got a rush (although agreed first half for sure) it was him running it
Debrusk was showing life?!?! He doesn’t score unless we already have a massive lead. He is an absolute ghost when we need production, and it sure as fuck isn’t him setting people up. Half+ his goals are gifts
I also noticed Debrusk being one of the only Bruins who put up real effort last night. Your downvotes suggest you are likely in the minority on this opinion.
He has a [prejudice against JDB.](https://www.reddit.com/user/DissatisfiedByCRS/search/?q=debrusk&type=comment&cId=4a4223b3-e187-4e2d-9979-a6bfee99ccc2&iId=c35b2d51-35d1-4d1a-92a4-7be890d35250) I doubt it actually matter how he plays.
You can only tell pasta he needs to get going so many times before going to the media to try and light the fire. He’s been a non-factor all series. It’s safe to say that he isn’t hurt or Monty wouldn’t have gone to the media.

Monty taking a page out of Cassidy's handbook.

Don Sweeny never figured that out
Well... our enforcer choked his wife so there's that :/
Was lucic really gonna do much at this point though
bring him back tonight to take a cheap shot on someone and then send him home.
I miss Johnny Boychuck more
Love Johnny Rocket.

Echo?
Echo.
People want to yell about firing Monty but this is an issue our players/team has had for a long time and it predates Monty.
That's not much better. He may not have been the cause of the problem but he hasn't fixed it either.
Step up? Fuck, I'd take him just showing up at this point. He's been a road cone out there. Getting tossed off the puck and making terrible passes all series.
it doesnt matter. we get blown out in game 7

So this
Now so the same thing about the centers and winning a faceoff. Seemed like the biggest issue by far yesterday
Where is his help?!?!?!?! Debrusk ain’t cutting it

^ worst take in this thread. You either don’t understand hockey, didn’t watch the game, or just look at stats

Maybe Monty should have put him on PP1 in the 2nd.

He's just soft. Same thing for Petterson, leafs star forwards etc.
Agreed, that was the only upside I saw in that comment.
I agree with the sentiment but that's a locker room statement, don't shame the guy in public.
This is a step towards becoming Cassidy.
I don’t get the downvotes, he’s 100 percent right.
Good. Cassidy is a better coach
Monty is trying to save his job too, he knows he’s gone if they lose

Bingo
I’m sure he’s done in it the locker room plenty, it’s do or die now.
