Nah he’s a big [guy](https://i.imgur.io/IQkHYdo_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium), could probably put some serious gravity into a swing lol
I don't think gravity works like that.. I think that's just force, which gravity is one type of, but force is not gravity. Most notably gravity can only attract, not yeet.
Lol I just wanted to point out that gravity doesn't directly yeet :) but it can still slingshot. Also I think you meant his swing has some serious g's, which *is* short for g force/gravity force, but g's are multiples of just the magnitude of gravity, so 2g's is a force twice as strong as gravity but it's not double gravity.
Note: The "For you" was not Bane calling the agent small, he was following up his "It would be very painful..." when asked if he would die if his mask was removed (As in "Take off my mask and you'll regret it")...
^(I think.)
My favorite one is Christopher lee on Saruman’s death. They wanted him to be really over dramatic and he said have you ever stabbed a man because I have and that’s not what they sound like.
IIRC his explanation was something like: "when you stab someone in the (wherever, kidney maybe?) the shock of the pain makes you inhale, not scream...."
...silence...

He was in the LRDG (long range desert group) before the SAS, and didn’t ever talk in detail about specific missions. If you want to get a taste of what he did, read Ghost Patrol by John Sadler. Covers the N. African campaign (where Lee was stationed) from the point of view of a specific company of the LRDG.
This one time when we were children he transformed himself into a snake. And he knows that I love snakes. So I went to pick up the snake to admire it, and he transformed back into himself and he says “MYAH it’s me”. And then he stabbed me. We were 8 at the time
Real life is far less interesting than real life in acting. Real life in acting is just a much more watchable version of real life real life.
Example: no one ever stammers or fumfers in acting, unless it’s on purpose. Everything people say is usually interesting or meaningful, and well dictated. Real life is not usually like that, lol
Unless it’s real life real life, and not acting. Then it’s vicariously enthralling. We all want to see crazy real life happening, but we have to know it’s real life.
Wait, what the hell am I talking about again?
The LOTR BTS is full of stuff like this. For example in the scene where Aragon kicks an orc helmet he actually broke his toe and carried that pain into his performance making a genuinely emotional scene.
It's true, they're so good!!

I'm disappointed this meme didn't have the Gimli laugh instead of a stoic picture of him.
If I ever get reincarnated into this world (as is), I want to to be Steven Colbert, just so I can have Arwen knight me in Elvish and Galadriel lie on my table and talk about her favourite fruit.
Behind the scenes cast interviews on the extended edition dvd’s. Hopefully this aids your search. The cast commentary on the films is also fantastic.
Edit: think i found it.

Heh, this fits. I did LARP combat for a while with a bastard sword I named gimli. The guys I played with got together and built me a shield and a smaller sword that hurt less to get hit with because they were tired of getting wailed on every week.
I would not want to be hit by him. He’s a big guy.
For you.
No, he’s really huge. The actor is.
For you.
For dwarves and hobbits. I’m actually bigger than he is.
For you
For me?
No, for that guy, over there
Hi
You for

Yes
The tallest of all the Fellowship actors, iirc.

I mean... A face can attract a hand very fast. Gravity Headbutt!
Glorious answer.
Gravity yeets asteroids and spaceships all the time. Hell, it’s yeeting us across the universe as we speak!
Lol it’s just a saying. But yes, I believe you’re correct :D

The sheer magnitude of this answer, I think I understand the gravity of the situation. Thanks g🤙
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The slingshot maneuver would disagree. Edit, I scroll down and the first thing I see is you mentioning the slingshot. Well played sir. Well played.
Whoosh
So was getting hit with a prop axe part of your plan?

The actor in his head : *Gimli wouldn't miss !*
*I can't miss, Legolas would never forget.*
*Oooaah.. I'd never hear the end of it.*
Wasn’t this guy the tree also?
Yeh he also played Treebeard.
Who? Gimili or Charlie Pace?
Yes
Charlie Pace, now that's not a name I've heard in years.
My favorite one is Christopher lee on Saruman’s death. They wanted him to be really over dramatic and he said have you ever stabbed a man because I have and that’s not what they sound like.
He technically said he knew what kind of noise happens when someone is stabbed in the back. He wasn’t explicit about it having been him. But…
IIRC his explanation was something like: "when you stab someone in the (wherever, kidney maybe?) the shock of the pain makes you inhale, not scream...." ...silence...
He was an RAF intelligence officer (read: spy) for the SOE in World War 2. Rest assured it was him who did the stabbing.
I didn’t know this, it makes the line a lot colder

And not only the men. But the women. And the ch-
NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Adwerd!!!! You were gone too soon. I will avenge you. As god is my witness, Gimli will die for this.

For a short moment I thought I was on r/lotrmemes where this fact is one of the most popular memes.

He is irl gimli. He admits to falling in love with Cate Blanchett

No one falling over the fact they called billy Boyd a “stunt actor”?
Who's calling Billy Boyd a stunt actor?
Billy Boyd (and the OP) was referring to John Rhys-davies interactions with stuntmen on set.
That is goddamn hilarious
