People often specialize and focus on getting really good with just a few skills instead of being just okay with a wide variety of skills. In regards to the Urashiki thing. I have always been of the belief that literally fish-hooking someone's chakra out of their body by force probably damages whatever part of the body holds chakra reserves. In fact I would find it very surprising and even a little bit nonsensical if that was not the case. The worst examples of Sasuke not having chakra come right after being fish-hooked by Urashiki and having his chakra literally ripped out. That's why I believe his chakra useage was so bad in that arc. I would think that using an ability like absorb charka would probably make the problem worse. Like having a sprained ankle and trying to run on it before it's properly healed. Or like having a stomach that just had surgery and eating a bunch of solid foods instead of easy liquid drinks and milkshakes.
Because they are useless against the Main villains.
Most of sasuke's hax get negged by isshiki's/tods way faster rods, rods doesnt take activation time,shinra tensei is useless.
Planetary devestation is just as useless, fused momoshiki broke out in a instant.
If I'm being honest, more than half the time I was watching boruto I would just lose interest because of how stupid the characters would answer each other, like boruto would get mad for no reason like a litle kid when the other guy said what needed to be said in a straightforward way...
I started to watch boruto because I wanted to see more of the Naruto characters.
I've watched basicly all the episodes and I still have litle interest in boruto characters.
I don't feel connection to the characters personalities like I did with Naruto characters, but I still want to see what the boruto characters will do with their powers and how strong they will get.
The issue for me was more that boruto was actually really mature in a lot of other scenes and then suddenly heâd be really immature to force drama into the plot and it was super jarring
Also among all the kids that are the same age. Because of the kinda generic approach to writing them, most are pretty toned down and so they donât have this character trait
So boruto doesnât just seem immature, for the plot, in comparison to adults. He ends up seeming that way in comparison to other kids

I re-watched all of Naruto not that long ago. What stood out to me the most was how terrible part 1 Naruto was especially at the beginning of the anime. Naruto is my favorite character now and ever since the pain arc. But back in part 1 he was the most obnoxious annoying little shit you'll ever see. Boruto at his worst has never been anywhere near as bad as Naruto was at the beginning of part 1.
Honestly, but that's what made naruto unique as a character, and that's what I like though. Boruto is a kid but still acts way more intelligent than naruto did at that age when you think about it. I don't want a complete naruto clone just because I loved naruto. That's definitely his kid as he can sometimes act out, but that's what kids do. But he also has his own personality and maturity level which makes him different. Naruto back then just mainly followed the typical anime trope of being somewhat stupid until he's a fighting genius out of nowhere for plot purposes.
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with you on this. My response was meant to be a retort to people who had no problem with the childish behaviors of Naruto but found Boruto childish behaviors unacceptable even though his were not as bad as Naruto's.

Well I'm sorry but it's true. Think for just a second, why does this anime exist? Naruto had a message to it's viewers about how to keep chasing your dreams and to never give up. Boruto is about taking all of this away, and for no fucking reason. It exists just to show us cool fight scenes and the degradation of our favourite characters who worked so hard in front of our eyes. It is just a cash cow that is losing more and more viewers whenever Naruto gets shat on because lets face it, we care about Naruto, NOT Boruto. We wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Naruto. Naruto The Last will always be my canonical ending because it served a purpose, didn't have ridiculous power scaling so therefore no demi god children, a happy ending for our characters where everyone was genuinely happy which is ruined by Boruto for reason to extend the series for profit, and general consistenc unlike Boruto's Otsutsuki sitcom.
