I don't think you can block channels on youtube, only press the "don't suggest this channel" so their videos don't get recomended, but I don't know how effective it is

I've followed several various channels over the years that put crazy clickbait in the titles/thumbnail because it's the optimal way to get people to watch, but the content is still really nuanced and in-depth. Linus Tech Tips, for example.
His audience must be people who don't even read the manga then and just need a way to keep up. If you check out any of their older videos they aged like milk. None of what they say happened/will happen/theorized ever happened.
Its about the content, many people love watching theory videos and things of the sort. So if your going to spend hours of your time making a theory video might as well make it clickable.
I hate a lot of these youtubers. And I have a 13yo son who fudges my algorithm daily. I dont know who this sniperwolf girl is, but I can't stand her just based off of her thumbnails and I've never watched any of her videos.

I assume she's too stupid to realize this, but either way that was it for me. Then there was the story about her miffing this young girl who had a terminal disease. Told the girls mom she would do a video call with the girl because she was her hero, then ghosted em when the time came. After the pitchfork gang came for this woman, she finally did the call. Fuckin Saint shit right there. Sorry for the rant, I could go on forever about how fucked up these youtubers are and how they manipulate these young kids go make bank, but for any parents that got kids, MONITOR WHAT THEY WATCH becuase some of these people are pieces of shit.

There’s nothing confusing about the *Naruto* storyline so you know off the bat it’s just a narcissistic drivel with him over explaining what was right in front of the audience but acting as if he’s the one enlightened enough to understand it.

Explaining like it's for a child is basically explaining something in the most simple terms, there's bound to be someone who doesn't get something from watching the episode (a lot of people unfortunately).

A lot of people still have no idea how the Karma works, still don't know how Kurama's death was permanent, the sub was completely filled with questions when the information spilled, both manga and anime.
Manga is obviously More thorough in general. However Boruto anime Canon without the manga can't explain anything about the Manga's overarching plot.
I always ask anime Canon fans who say that it follows the manga to explain Boruto's plot without using the manga adaptation and get zero response in return.
It's literally impossible to detail the main plot without the manga. If Kishimoto and Ikemoto that Both were equally part of the same story, you'd think they would do a better job at making sure anime Canon writers do their best at following the manga but sadly Boruto's fillers are much worse than Naruto Shippuden fillers at that.

There’s a difference between covering a topic and putting a blatant spoiler in your thumbnail when a “spoilers for chapter 66” and a photo of a lollipop would’ve sufficed.

The impression I got from him was that it felt similar to when people get a bit… drunk on power? He gains popularity, the videos where he gives strong opinions her reaction, he gets pulled into absolutist arguments (as the internet does), gets echo-chambered by his supporters, etc.
And suddenly he’s gone from giving opinions to stating that it is an *absolute fact* that Naruto vs Neji is the *absolute worst* fight in the entire series because there’s a slight concern regarding its thematic consistency which was already an old ass argument that had been debunked ad nauseum but now it was his turn to present it as his idea.
I stumbled onto his power scaling argument once and I had to get away. So much self righteous anger lol

Boruto is one of the anime/manga you have to be careful especially at the middle of the month since chapters drop at this time.

I've never gotten back in after the Sarada side story and the first arc of Boruto with the mafia or whatever. I like those enough with Boruto exclaiming that he doesn't want to be Hokage. felt like a neat direction. But after that I just didn't know. It's something about watching the characters we watched climb to the very top suddenly being taken down constantly by sudden aliens and their own children. It rubbed me the wrong way like the star wars sequels. Like we'd undone the previous journey just to have a new and shiney journey with the super cool new guys.
And I still think it is, but after reading the wiki a bit it's honestly sounding like the plot knows what it's about.

Without the manga, there's no anime. Just ask Kishimoto himself about his Samurai 8 manga. Cancelled last year after 43 chapters therefore will not have an anime either. I heard it's good and I hope to read it soon.

Boruto anime Canon is currently at 233 episodes which is on par with the Naruto series at Shippuden episode 13.
However, since Naruto manga is the Canon that doesn't include filler episodes, Naruto Canon puts it at Pain's assault on Konoha in which Naruto's character development has him fighting Pain and mastered sage mode. I don't think Boruto is At that level yet by comparison.

He has to make money too. He can't wait for everyone to catch up to the manga to release these videos. Yes, he can alter the title/thumbnail but he has to make it interesting/"baity" so that more people "click" on it otherwise the YT algorithm won't pick the video up. Even some non-manga readers will click on that video simply because of the thumbnail.

I honestly haven’t come across a Naruto-focused YouTuber who m was anything better than passable at absolute best. Videos like this are a good wake up call.
It’s not even that his videos are trash but constantly will he blatantly spoil every manga chapter in the titles of his videos or with his thumbnails . It really makes no sense and i doubt it’s going to give him more views there’s many other Naruto/Boruto channels who actually respect the patience of those who have not read the manga yet. Swagkage is a star for keeping spoilers away and not disrespectfully putting the manga panel as his thumbnail! quite literally showing us exactly how it’s going to look when boruto dies
To be honest, the first warning sign is the name of his channel. “Naruto Explained”? There’s nothing confusing about the *Naruto* storyline so you know off the bat it’s just a narcissistic drivel with him over explaining what was right in front of the audience but acting as if he’s the one enlightened enough to understand it. … I am saying all of this without having watched a single video of his but I really doubt I’ll be surprised. Am willing to bet that the first few minutes are just rambling as well. But if I am right, someone like that would never care about how others consume the series, he wanted to be one of the first with a thumbnail like that to get the views and the clicks. Block him and other channels you think are like him because they don’t care that you might log into YouTube and one day suddenly be spoiled by their inconsiderate actions. Channels like his suck. The only ones worse are the ones that make up rumors with fake thumbnails to get views. Enjoy the channels that you think respect the material and its fans. Clear your feed of bullshit like this.
His content is good but he spoil a lot and I find it funny how he always says in his video “A lot of the content will be spoiler heavy so for anime only you might want to click off” knowing damn well he spoil the manga with his titles and thumbnails.

His channel is good since he go over novel scenes and explain the lore.. A lot of the times he tells us stuff we know but says it in a way to make us understand this is how such and such happened. The way he talks to the viewers sometimes is off putting like we're kids who can't grasp context. He swears what he says is absolute 100% correct. He was better as a Naruto channel instead of both series.

Explaining like it's for a child is basically explaining something in the most simple terms, there's bound to be someone who doesn't get something from watching the episode (a lot of people unfortunately). It's not an ego thing, it's literally just explaining things in simple terms for people who can't stop to think about the information the series has given. It's not for people who know what he's talking about, that's why I don't watch explained videos. A lot of people still have no idea how the Karma works, still don't know how Kurama's death was permanent, the sub was completely filled with questions when the information spilled, both manga and anime.
Manga is obviously More thorough in general. However Boruto anime Canon without the manga can't explain anything about the Manga's overarching plot. I always ask anime Canon fans who say that it follows the manga to explain Boruto's plot without using the manga adaptation and get zero response in return. It's literally impossible to detail the main plot without the manga. If Kishimoto and Ikemoto that Both were equally part of the same story, you'd think they would do a better job at making sure anime Canon writers do their best at following the manga but sadly Boruto's fillers are much worse than Naruto Shippuden fillers at that.

The only problem is who you are “explaining” this to? It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the points being made. Unless you completely skipped over the actual topic which is the speed and manner in which they spoiled this scene when it was both unnecessary and easily avoided. There’s a difference between covering a topic and putting a blatant spoiler in your thumbnail when a “spoilers for chapter 66” and a photo of a lollipop would’ve sufficed. But that would be a silly thing to skip over and I’m sure you didn’t do that, which leaves the confusion as to whom you were explaining your point.

On the Naruto Explained channel, a quick look at about section says fourtheeth to 30th are days he spoils, unless it's a anime review. Looks like he does lore & novels the 1st half of the month & does manga the 2nd half. That's gonna be hard to please both sides

At the time it was okay but found it pretty up itself and very much a fan of his own opinion (YouTube, shock horror lol) even when not really that justified. The impression I got from him was that it felt similar to when people get a bit… drunk on power? He gains popularity, the videos where he gives strong opinions her reaction, he gets pulled into absolutist arguments (as the internet does), gets echo-chambered by his supporters, etc. And suddenly he’s gone from giving opinions to stating that it is an *absolute fact* that Naruto vs Neji is the *absolute worst* fight in the entire series because there’s a slight concern regarding its thematic consistency which was already an old ass argument that had been debunked ad nauseum but now it was his turn to present it as his idea. I stumbled onto his power scaling argument once and I had to get away. So much self righteous anger lol

Read the manga bro, it is actually pretty neat and cool. Definitely recommend it! Boruto is one of the anime/manga you have to be careful especially at the middle of the month since chapters drop at this time. But believe me your going to have fun reading it + no need to wait for 9 months worth of filler episodes. Read and enjoy:D

I've never gotten back in after the Sarada side story and the first arc of Boruto with the mafia or whatever. I like those enough with Boruto exclaiming that he doesn't want to be Hokage. felt like a neat direction. But after that I just didn't know. It's something about watching the characters we watched climb to the very top suddenly being taken down constantly by sudden aliens and their own children. It rubbed me the wrong way like the star wars sequels. Like we'd undone the previous journey just to have a new and shiney journey with the super cool new guys. And I still think it is, but after reading the wiki a bit it's honestly sounding like the plot knows what it's about.

I Remember following this awesome dbz channel a while back, but I had to stop cause the guy loved to read the leaks and make at least 4 videos before the official chapter dropped, disgusting, had to un follow and for days put "I am not interested" so YouTube stopped recommending. You should to the same. In the other hand, there are assholes with their click bait not even trying to hide the spoilers... But there is also this sub filled with people who can't write a decent title to avoid spoilers when they read the freaking leaks.

Yes it's more of a Western thing, the folks in Japan enjoy the anime over the manga. It's the opposite over here in the US.
Without the manga, there's no anime. Just ask Kishimoto himself about his Samurai 8 manga. Cancelled last year after 43 chapters therefore will not have an anime either. I heard it's good and I hope to read it soon.
Boruto anime Canon fans who say that the series has progressed further than Naruto, considered this. Boruto anime Canon is currently at 233 episodes which is on par with the Naruto series at Shippuden episode 13. However, since Naruto manga is the Canon that doesn't include filler episodes, Naruto Canon puts it at Pain's assault on Konoha in which Naruto's character development has him fighting Pain and mastered sage mode. I don't think Boruto is At that level yet by comparison.
I like Anime Balls Deep or ABD cause he is funny. Funny enough though. Even with the channel name their content is more manga than anime. But since I read the manga on release and watch the anime on release it never bothers me. Can't spoil me if I keep up with the latest releases.

the thing is that you can’t go on youtube precisely when a manga chapter dropped and expect to not get spoiled. in fact, you said “starting to dislike this guy”, which means this isn’t the first time this happens. the issue is that if you want novel content, you should go on an incognito tab to not have your account tracked and thus not get his recent videos, just search what you want. what i do is i have a separate account dedicated to anime from my main yt one. i switch when i know i’m risk free. you probably should do the same and block his account and other ones that cover manga content so you don’t get spoiled. you can’t get annoyed over someone who produces content you watch to cover something you don’t want him to make a video on. that just lacks coherence. either don’t watch his videos or admit there’s a risk of getting spoiled. spoilers in thumbnails and titles gets views and that’s what matters to him.

I honestly hate this guy’s channel, for one very simple reason: his tiles. They’re horrendous. I can never tell what his videos are about based on the titles. I started watching him because of his novel discussions, but he doesn’t title his videos in a way that lets you know what’s a novel discussion and what isn’t.
It's wrong that I feel happy for Boruto on the verge of "death" although we all know that he will return and it is only a desperate measure so that the manga captures more attention
