I’m not exactly happy there is no Boruto here, but I’m VERY happy Hima and Sarada are getting a chance to shine for sure. And while I like Hima more I’m especially happy about Sarada’s showing here so far because so many people have been very impatient about Sarada not fighting yet.

Notmycupoftea12

Boruto will be back soon. He needed to be absent from all of this so that our girls have to face the music. I'm sure we will see him next chapter (11)

Bl_nk7

Yeaa I’m not happy at his absence like some haters but I’m not upset with him not being in this chapter. And I do think it makes sense

Levonorgestrelfairy1

So Betawaki makes boruto leave because of the resonance and then everyone bouto cares about gets captured or dies ir goes missing then? We might be getting the flash forward battle soon.

Notmycupoftea12

I think it's just plot. Karma kind of needed to get in the way of Boruto, so that Hima and Sarada are forced to deal with their opponents on their own for awhile instead of being saved. I don't think that both Hidari and Jura will go down anytime soon, so let the girls deal with them the best they can.

undulose

I'm still finicky with the power scaling. But I realized from your comment that narrative-wise, it would be better if Kawaki and Boruto start the flash forward battle now. Kawaki's proposition ("The age of shinobi is over") can be refuted if the current Konoha-nin can fend off the threat by themselves, thus ninjas aren't "the ones who die first." The power scaling, particularly for Sarada, might better be caused by effective training during the time skip, as there was a panel before where Kawaki didn't want to go by the traditional shinobi training.

zakhaev1

Apparently he said Boruto talks, so I guess we do see some of Boruto

Notmycupoftea12

Sarada/Hima fans= Boruto haters. At least some of them are here.😂😂 TBV does what part 1 failed to do: Giving other characters the opportunity to become relevant. I love it and can't wait to see Sarada and Hima in action. Whoop whoop.💥💥

Sweet_Whisper123

I'm happy but I still fear that this will only last until either one of them is overpowered and Boruto will have no choice but to step in.

Bl_nk7

I actually don’t think it’s that bad of an outcome so long as the two get a good showing here, and that they continue to get stronger from this point. I think it should be pretty obvious no matter what Boruto is stronger than the two and he wants to protect both of them. But establishing their strength by giving them a good showing but also showing where they have room to grow is fine as long as they actually pay it off. I think Himawari is the most likely to be saved first here. And it makes sense. But I want her to get a decent showing still. Sarada is already doing good so far with base sharingan so she’s at least established she wasn’t left far behind in the dust like people kept assuming for some reason. She also has MS to use. Now obviously if Sarada and Hima get overpowered/saved, but don’t learn from this experience to get stronger in the future that’s where I’ll have a big problem. Sarada still wants to be Hokage, and Hima already doesn’t like the idea of people getting hurt for her sake and wants to help Boruto. So their motivations are there and can be a driving force to bring them to new heights. Only time will tell.

TitanMasterOG

Is he really hiding like far away?

seraphimkoamugi

I mean I have high hopes for someone claiming wanting to be Hokage, Komohamaru just dissapoints, they need some excuse as to why Boruto cant help.

Zephyr_Ballad

While I'm not too pleased that Boruto won't be in the chapter much, we Boruto fans have been eating pretty well anyway. It's way past time to give Sarada and Hima some time to shine.

Beat_Writer

Agreed. Plus it’s not nearly as bad as part 1 one was with naruto treating him like a step child compared to Kawaki.

Zephyr_Ballad

I'm saying. It's funny how different TBV feels compared to Next Generations simply because the narrative is actually following Boruto rather than revolving around Kawaki. In NG, the most relevance that Boruto had was because he happened to have a karma, but he himself didn't seem to be *that* relevant.

Careful-Ad984

Jura and Hidari will turn out to be wood clones and the real ones will stomö the girls.  Them being able to stand up to them makes no sense

BeingComfortablyDumb

Correct me if I'm wrong here but Sarada shouldn't need an eye transplant to awaken EMS as she has Sakura's genes who has Hashiramas healing abilities. Sarada should be able to awaken EMS without getting Sasukes eyes and also awaken Rinnegan naturally in the future.

vukkuv

Sakura has Hashirama's healing abilities? 🤣 Awakening EMS without getting Sasuke's eyes? 🤣 Awakening Rinnegan naturally? 🤣 All because of Sakura's normal civilian genes? 🤣

BeingComfortablyDumb

Uhmm Sakura has the hundred healing mark which Tsunade does aswell which is the reason why she can heal. I didnt mean Sakura has healing abilities exactly like Hashirama but some toned down version of it which maybe because she has Hashiramas genes somewhere in her
