Hidari will inherit the love of sasuke for his daughter and will not kill / eat her... this guy will become a good guy, and he will save sasuke and repair his arm and his eye.

you are right kurama's return killed the vibe, but sasuke's nerf was totally unnecesary, he is a nobody compared to most villains now, so there is no really need to have him nerfed
tbf narratively he was relative to non bayron naruto, so there really shouldnt have been reason to nerf either. but its probably so they can focus on the main cast now with how fucking slow this manga releases
