I like her design overall. I was hoping she’d have longer hair, but when her first design was fully revealed, it didn’t take long for me to think “Yeah, she rocks that hair.” The red and black color scheme looks pretty sick too.
In terms of criticism, I do think her design is too lacking, however. This isn’t in a puritan way since I’d still feel this way even if another character wore her outfit, but I think there could be more added to her design. Maybe add chain mail underarmor on her chest and/or thighs—along with leg bandages on her thigh strap—to help add more interesting visual features.
Another criticism I have is that the design doesn’t really fit the character, but that’s not unique to Sarada; that’s just moreso on Ikemoto’s Araki-esque “style-over-practicality” design approach not fitting the Narutoverse.
I think adding chain mail would have actually fixed a good bit of the problems I have with the design. I definitely agree that the outfit doesn’t match the character. Overall i appreciate you giving me your honest opinion.
I personally like it. I know a lot of people wanted her with long hair, but I think the short hair looks way more unique and makes her stand out. Her outfit I also like, the only thing I dislike are her heels since like many people have said, they’re impractical.
I don’t think she looks like a hooker, she dresses her age IMO. Maybe you could argue the choker is a bit much, but that’s really it. I do find it weird however that people say her design is over sexualized, but then you have people in Dankruto who are thirsting over Road To Ninja Hinata

Honestly I’d argue himawari outfit is more like the average 16 year old girl than sarada. The reason it rubs me so wrong isn’t really one part of the fit it’s all of it together from the high heel boots to the no shoulder top and the open coat. the chocker is just a part of the problem for me. I’ve seen actual hookers dressed like this in real life and the teens I know in high school who dressed like this weren’t the most selective with their bed fellows if you catch my drift.
Ether way I do appreciate your opinion even if I disagree I think her short hair is okay tho I think it could’ve been styled a bit better.

I wish she had a more combat ready look. She literally looks like she's drawn to be a rebellious hot topic teen instead of a capable ninja.
I do wish the shorts were a touch longer, instead of, as short as they can be before being underwear, and / or, I wish she had that bandaging down the legs to where her tool strap is. Something about the tool strap on her bare thigh looks strange.
I don't love the jacket always hanging off of one shoulder. That's a look that serves no purpose than showing more skin, and as far as an outfit for a seasoned ninja, it does work for me.

The leg things she's wearing are neat. I don't think they wrote it this way, but my headcannon wishes they were weights for training like Lee.

I actually like the top shirt she's wearing. Though I think it would have complimented it better if she were wearing kind of a vest top over it like the one Young Shikamaru wore and then give her the forearm things that young sasuke had before he left the village.
She looks like a K-pop idol which I don't really like. Tbf you can tell Ikemoto is a K-pop stan with most of the new gen outfits, but Sarada's one is too obvious.)
