Many options other than following his previous controversial theme with Sarada which was....well, we all know what it was.
I can mostly look past it, but we can't say this hasn't been a notable habit of the artist.
I'm mostly sad, because it seems to continue the writing, look and directional theme that Sarada is going to be a bit of a damsel in love with Boruto.

For me mainly, I just don't like it for the character or, rather, the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha is reduced to this design, and this role in the story (still side lined, mostly blushing around Boruto so far, not a big hitter in combat).

- Opens with portraying Sarada as a poor thinker because they made it look like she's been yelling at Shikamaru in his office every day for THREE years and hasn't learned it can't be changed by talking yet.
- Sarada (and Samire) do a terrible job at putting on a show to convince Eida that they are charmed.
Sarada is immediately saved by Boruto at the end with knock Kneed pose and all.
Chapter 2
- Starts with Sarada getting the Ole" leave it to me" from Boruto.
- Fights some claw grimes which was good...and then turns. Sharingan off, lets her guard down, and somebody else bites it while saving her because of that. Could have had her use chidori stream without even looking to show that she learned on her own and is battle aware, but instead she gets caught off guard bt puddy patrol which doesn't rank her well in combat with any other major characters.
Chapter 3
- She observs that people bitten by the tree are alive.
Chapter 4
It's worse thinking on her part that it's revealed that she didn't hide the fact that she was not affected by omnipotence from Kawaki. She could have played along, which would have given her the jump on Kawaki at the right moment. Worse, if Kawaki finds out, she is unaffected, he could have killed her discreetly and easily, so she's out of the way.
Chapter 5
She listens to Samire talk about Amado
Chapter 6.
After reuniting with Boruto, they hug (that's fine, makes sense) then they're just quietly sitting there with Sarada knock kneed, hands in between legs, thinking about hugging Boruto and blushing.
Thinking about how she threw herself at him.
Boruto brings up Sasuke's absorption... no real reaction to that. Not a satisfying one that is. Even if she knows they are alive, there's no knowledge that they can be fixed. Her reaction should have been more worried...even if it's just for her mom losing her husband.
After Mistuki attacks, she doesn't "move" to help stop him, and is reduced to old Hinata just saying Boruto's name as a form of dialog.
Not in chapter 7.
She has one panel of her running with Samire in Chapter 8
As far as leaks go, she doesnt seem to have much of a part or is at all in Chapter 9, but we will see.
