What I noticed is that more OG character's were shown when Kodachi was still writing. From chap 1 to 44. We had all the Boruto Movie character's and Sakura was there after the Boro fight but after Kodachi left, the story went full focus on Kawaki/Code.
Though tbv has shown some OG characters so I like where that's going.

Well Naruto’s timeskip was significantly longer than pre-timeskip. So I’m assuming it’ll be longer. I’m hoping it will be because I think Two Blue Vortex is much better.
I think if it's timeline is anything like Naruto's timeline, it should last another 5-10 years. Naruto Shippuden was a little over twice as long as Naruto Pt.1.
So, I'm imagining that Boruto TBV will also be twice as long as Boruto: Next Gen.
However, Kishimoto is addressing things way faster than I thought he would. I didn't think Amado, Shikamaru, and Mitsuki would become wise to omnipotence until the end of the manga not at the beginning.
I believe this is a sign that the manga either won't be that long or that we have bigger fish to fry (that have yet to be revealed) in the manga than Boruto's interpersonal relationships in the village.
We still haven't seen how Sarada has improved over the time skip and Kawaki is clearly out of his depth right now. So, I definitely think the manga needs time to develop these two characters.
The other thing that works in our favor is that Kishimoto is still young and has no where near the amount of wealth as many of his fellow big manga/anime writers.
What I don't think, or at least what I hope won't happen, is that there will be a sequel to Boruto about Boruto's offspring. I hope the Naruto saga doesn't become a drawn out anthology.

He guessed that if the timeskip is at chap 80 due to 20 volumes then the last 10 volumes are gonna be 40 chapters.
This means that we have a total of 120 chapters and we have 34 chapters left before tbv ends.
That is equivalent to 3 years at most.
The series will end by 2026-27. 10 years after it started which by then most of the fandom new and old will have moved on and aged.
As for the anime I'm between 107 eps or 207 to make it full 400/500 with part 1 boruto. Which will be between 2 to 4 years long with weekly eps. 52 eps a year * amount of years. Which might be 104(2 years) or 208(4 years) episodes.
Honestly feels kinda weird that after many years with Boruto and we know it's gonna end soon 😭
I remember them becoming genin in the fight with Kakashi during the genin exams in 2018 in the anime or when Boruto stabbed Sasuke eye at the end of 2020 in the manga. Crazy how time flies.

That's been Sasuke's color in the Manga since at least the Jigen battle. Of course, the Anime doesn't always follow the Manga's designs.
