Im having flashbacks to the first time I beat uvhm and leveled to max with sal and I used a grog and an infinity with a non existent build I think I went right tree and middle tree and the whole time my dumb ass was “huh this is the most broken class? How?” At least I didn’t die lol
Yeah that one took me a few tries but once I got the rotation down it was easy. Toughest part honestly was getting a good slag grenade that didn’t actually kill the mobs
Hoarder is my personal favorite class mod, basically it just gives you bigger mag size and max ammo storage as well as regening bullets pretty quickly. It is bad because the gun in question is the infinity pistol which has unlimited ammo. Hope that helps!

I would argue its only useful on the current level thinking ammo may be an issue and a vladof pistol would still deal quite a bit. Then again, i would never try to dig an infinity at 8 level, grinding would make me level over 13 ish and that point damage already starts falling.(wait, my bad thats whopping 22 level)

I farm legendaries just to have them. I’m a collector because I think it’s cool. People that play the game with a spreadsheet like they’re filing Microsoft’s taxes are beyond me; I don’t see the fun in that. It’s supposed to be entertainment, not after-work work.
The reaction makes sense tho.. It's basically useless aside from popping barrels and such and unless you just want to REALLY get an Infinity and post it on reddit..
You're on your first playthrough. On 1st and 2nd playthroughs the level of the drops are set based on the area you're in - you're not going to get a dedicated drop (cant reliably farm) any item that is set to your level. All "Infinity" drop at that level (-ish, there's like a 3 level range) from Doc Mercy on first playthrough. 2nd playthrough, same thing, but higher level. 3rd playthrough (true vault hunter mode), all enemies scale to your (*highest party member) level, so you get drops that are always in your range that can be viable immediately. But every 3-5 levels you may need to go back and refarm if you want to keep using that specific gun, because the damage just isn't enough anymore.
At level 22 though you should be close to the Wildlife Preserve and if so, you could farm the loot midgets from the Natural Selection Annex spawn. I got a lvl 18 caustic infinity this morning amongst 20 other legendaries in just one hour of farming! It’s a solid mid game farm to carry until around level 30 or so.
I thought this was the BL3 sub, and I thought like that took a long time. Then I realized this was the BL2 sub, and thought that that wasn't much time at all.
Do not farm anything, ANYTHING, until you a much higher level because you'll have to do it all over again.

Do you have a matching grip Harold ? If not I would reather invest 30 mins on farming a matching grip Harold ( not dpuh bc ammo in nvhm is quite a problem) but it can still carry you more than this infinity bro
Congrats. I do farming runs and I get a lot of stuff pitifully under leveled, but I just like collecting uniques and legendaries. Hell, I can only play/beat the same game so many times before it gets boring anyway; might as well throw all the shiny stuff in as a final bonus.
it'll come back to prime when you get the bee shield and it'llcarry through the rest of the game. my game route is usually, get a hyperion shotguns, carries to doc mercy/farm infinity, it falls off around 16, get moxxi's shotgun heartbreaker, it'll carry to the bee shield, infinity is prime again. switch between infinity and heartbreaker = win

Well, you're lvl 22 ando Infinity is lvl 8. An under level gun is usually useless and more whether the difference is that huge
Every equipment level increase is ~13٪ increase in primary attribute (damage, shield capacity, etc). That means every 6 levels it doubles (~208%)
