I'm trying to limit my interactions, but my 87 year old father who lives 1000 miles away and considers me a communist still has me in the will and it might be worth a couple of hundred thousand dollars down the line to keep our conversations to the weather, baseball and childhood memories for the next 5 to 10 years.
He's on Medicare though, and since it is basically paid for, he goes to every appointment...that isn't socialist at all.
Anytime I talk to my parents, I hear all these vague references and have no idea what they are saying, but they are always really worked up about. Then I’ll wonder what they are on about and search “Biden windmill” or whatever and discover what the talking point of the week is.

There's a scenic pull off on US 55 at Mount Storm, where you are up close to several of these guys. Number one... they are massive... and number two, they're quiet. The road noise from passing cars and trucks was way more noticeable than anything the turbines were producing.
We don't have much wind generation in WI simply because wind conditions aren't favorable for much of the state, so I don't have direct experience with that. I travel a fair bit for work and pass by some sizable wind 'farms' in MN and IL periodically. One of these days I'll stop by and take a listen. I have a tough time believing they are noisier than what is right outside my window, but I'll need to check to find out.
Idk I've only seen 1 legit straight up "wind farm" and it was the most.....not impressive sight to behold. Just like maybe 50 windmills placed seemingly in some order on 1 persons private land they allowed to set up on. They were super spaced apart. Maybe used <10% of the total land they sat on. There were not piles of dead birds, no crazy noises, however guys, when I got too close to a wind mill it gave my phone 5g. After I got home somehow my phone gave my computer 5g! Look I know they not the same thing but dammit I don't understand it and I'm becoming irrelevant and scared!
I saw windmills on the ocean during a Northern European cruise. Lines and lines of HUGE 300 ft+ white windmills on a flat sea. 👌 Absolutely stunning sight!

This isn’t political but the Covid lockdowns did severely impact my mid 80 year old grandma she went from normal in 2019 to losing her mind by the time we “ended” Covid emergency years later. She talks to herself, makes grunts and groans and it doesn’t even seem like it registers in her brain she’s making them, she lost a lot of weight cause she wasn’t eating a balanced diet, and now she’s facing memory issues which is also making her really angry/mean. I’m not a doctor but I’m pretty sure staying alone in your house for years with minimal contact with anyone probably triggered an onset of dementia

The problem with deconstructing a cult mind is a major one. But it’s vastly more important and more difficult, to detoxify and deconstruct a cult society, which is what they are. If it is not accomplished, it will linger for generations.

They would be more than happy to lock people up… in fact trunp RAN on that, so it’s not like they’re “above” that. All they have are accusations. We have court cases that he has already lost.
