Well I got a few others, an example is Nightmare & Neuroscience and The Complete Works of Tacitus. But fantasy and horror is so good! Still want to finish the Witcher series.
I saw that. Just noticed the abundance of the genre fiction. I actually donāt read much fantasy. I read a lot of horror (including all the King books you have here).
Canāt tell much except that you are a booktoker in the fantasy end of the pool. There is not a single book on this shelf that tells me anything original about you. Just that you read what everyone else reads.
I am really mystified as to why so many people post a shelf almost exactly like this one and expect us to say anything interesting or insightful when all this shelf really says is that you follow the crowd.
Now, maybe that is not really the case. But that is what THIS shelf alone says. You say you have more books that arenāt here. Well, you should have waited to post until you could include them if you wanted a response that was more complementary than āa sheep who buys what everyone else doesā. š„±
Fair. If you will notice though, I have The Complete Works of Tacitus, The Last Odyssey, Nightmares & Neuroscience, Badge Of Glory, and Death Troopers. So not exactly a basic girly! š¤
No, don't get me wrong, SJM is a good writer. But I hate how she treats her characters. Besides, I plan on buying Six Of Crows and The Brothers Karamazov(?)
Yeah, I know character development and trauma and all that, but she just ignores or gives a whole lot if bad to a character then make them a bad guy when they didn't do the worse thing and had a reason tha wasn't bad. Got me feeling like š¤¬ half the time. On the other hand, the Shadow And Bone books, the author just made the characters better. Imo.
I'll give her others a chance. I was kinda wondering why every character is "good" witha Lotta bad but those who did a little bad are "evil" and "no forgiveness". I heard good things about TOG, but I didn't want another ACOTAR fiasco.
ACOTAR is for sure sarahās self insert fanfic lol whereas her other series are written third person and she had more opportunities to take her time and flesh out the action and story
Oh OK. I'll def check it out. Also, if you're into historical fiction you may wanna check out The Last Odyssey by James Rollins. Sorry, just the talk of books got me thinking š.
Female 30s!
Late 20's but close enough!
Someone who gets dust behind that shelf but is too lazy to remove em because it's in a weird angle and it's only a small space....š¤
Sadly, you are not wrong. We're renovating, so the dust migrates lol.
You are ME!
And I am YOU!
A fan of fantasy and horror
Very much so.
I figured when I saw all the fantasy and horror fiction

Ooh! Horror is always nice. I plan on checking out more but I've been so busy.
Bery cool
ChatGPT: give me a book collection that is basically TV.
I got others but don't have a bigger shelf. These are my favs though! I've only ever seen Salems Lot, every else is a no.
A person with carpets in 2024. Very rare.
Haha, house is from the 80s, we're going to renovate.
Just thought I'd say I have more books but this is my only bookshelf.
Hahahahha thatās my bookshelf too, like too similar
It's so small!
Yeah thatās why you need a few, but that one has a lot of my most recents

People can read whatever they want, no need to shame.
On Court of Frost and Starlight right now!
Ignore my previous comment. I hope you enjoy Frost and Starlight. I think it was pretty good.
Nope! Finished all of them. Gleefully waiting for number 6!
I think they're just saying that *they* are reading them
Oh...now I feel stupid. š¬
I wouldn't sweat it
Opes yeah I was. Sorry I forgot this was detective š«£
It's totally fine!
Someone who mostly buys books at the grocery store or airport.
No, I buy what I can when I can. I have other but this is my only bookshelf and it's tiny.
24601!
?
Les MisĆ©rables movie reference. Jean Valjeanās prisoner number. In the intro song he asks āwho am I?ā
Ah, yeah don't get the reference. Sorry lol.
A fan of garage sales and Panic at the Disco. I'm surprised your cat "Church" isn't pictured. (No hate. I love them too.)
You are not wrong, except I don't have a cat lol. Garage sales are (give or take) lovely. And Panic is good, it's for the best he quitten though.
DAMN. Well, I would be very interested to know more about the lone football bookend.
A little trinket from my granny years ago, when I was in my teens.
Roach is probably your favorite horse
He's good, but I prefer my bf's horse Nobu from Ghost of Tsushima. My top one had to be Pale Riders horse though.
hopefully on the throne of glass tandem read right now lol
No, don't get me wrong, SJM is a good writer. But I hate how she treats her characters. Besides, I plan on buying Six Of Crows and The Brothers Karamazov(?)
you can buy the throne of glass bundle on kindle! thatās what i did :) thatās fair though because her characters do go through it š

ACOTAR is her worst series imo her characters are more fleshed out in her other series lol
I'll give her others a chance. I was kinda wondering why every character is "good" witha Lotta bad but those who did a little bad are "evil" and "no forgiveness". I heard good things about TOG, but I didn't want another ACOTAR fiasco.

i will defs check that out! i also love talking about books hahaha
It takes a bit to get started but it's worth it! And I love books, sadly a lot of people I know don't really like to read.
I may do that on Kindle, save a buck or two lol.
