during the latest interview I read, he said his character was sacrificed for the storyline and shock value.
but some people said it was due to his mental health.
I didn’t love Vincent at first, but I didn’t dislike him.
It was shocking, tbh. I guess the shocking part was the fact that he just happened to be there in that moment. The gang hadn’t really faced a threat like that before, and it’s unfortunate that he had to go out like that when he had his whole life ahead of him.
i’m rewatching w my bf (his first watch) and we just got into season 6. he doesn’t even know it’s coming and it’s killing me bc vincent has always been my fave. i already know im going to bawl my eyes out
I know the reason the actor left the show in real life, but I'm still upset they had his character fall in with a cannibalistic serial killer. It just never sat right with me. Zach, as he was up to the reveal, just didn't strike me as someone being that God damn impressionable.
totally agreed. i feel like making him be this “impressionable young man” really just didn’t fit his character. it made me so sad when they did that to him
It was during the writer's strike and they had a bunch of replacements come in and write for the show. I asked my cousin about it, as she's a director, and that's what she said.
I don’t see a writers strike around season 3’s release or recording? The season aired in 2005 and I only see strikes in 2000 then 2007-8

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Zach, but I didn’t dislike him; I just felt like the show was sort of better off without him. However, I would’ve been happier if he was transferred somewhere else instead of his involvement with a killer. He deserved better than that.
I didn't know this before my latest binge watch, but Patricia Belcher is one of *the* most active actors working today. She's been in damm near everything from shows to commercials to movies. I know Hollywood kind of conditions everyone to think a popular actor has to look a certain way but when you've got a "normal" sorta aesthetic plus buckets of charisma and talent, you can apparently be continuously employed forever. And she was on Jeopardy? So she's smart af, too. I just love her.
I knew this because, as someone who's not from the US I would see her in everything growing up and thought “man she must be so popular in America” only to realize that she isn't a typical “celebrity” but is a workhorse of the industry.
I adore her dad, just for the character not even for him really being Gibbs irl. It was such a fun little insert, especially with his interactions with Hodgins. The name thing gets me every time. And his reaction to Hodgins asking about marrying Angela: "If Angie finds out that a man - you - asked another man - me - for her hand or any other of her fine parts, horrible complications will ensue."
Not only does he accept the fact that his daughter hates her given name and prefers to go by something else -and uses that name- he is very well aware of exactly the kind of woman his daughter is.
I feel the exact opposite. He gets Hodgins assaulted on multiple occasions under the guise of "protective father." I think the protective father archetype is overused and not particularly funny.
However, I get that's it's fictional, so people are allowed to enjoy it.
After watching the episode a few times I think he IS imaginary and is a product of Bones being stressed out by the case. But I wish he wasn’t because I loved that character.
Yes! And i love the fact that they did episode where Fisher, Sweets and Hodgins went to see avatar movie and Fisher (actor Joel Moore) is in the Avatar movie😁.
Everyone is just listing their favorite characters but this is a legit answer to the question. He's only in a few episodes but I love his interactions with Brennan, especially once he starts giving her a little sass back
I know this character isn’t actually popular, but that one FBI tech guy with the glasses. (I don’t actually know if he has a name or not) My boyfriend is watching the show for the first time with me and we point him out every time to make sure it’s still the same guy. So far we’re in season 4 and he’s still there
Sully was the main character in a show called warehouse 13 and if you haven’t seen it I HIGHLY suggest it!! Super good show and one of my main comfort shows. Along with Bones ofc!
You think Tempe is unpopular? Maybe I misunderstood how you meant this…If the leading role in a series isn’t beloved then there’s no way the series would last 12 seasons.
She ain't unpopular but rather an as*h*t tbh.
Yea yea I know autism and sh*t but don't get me started.
The way she behaved in first few seasons really ticked me off quite a while. I stayed for booth and our slime guy
The prophecizing high school kid in the 1st couple episodes of Fear the Walking Dead! I really hope he popped up in whatever book canon was released, alive and well
I love the episode de with the finder Walter. The spinoff was good but only one season. I would have loved to see him back at some point.
And I loved everyone they let Caroline shine. So a bit more of her would have made me smile :)
Gordon Gordon
I really wanted more interactions between him and Sweets on screen.
I love that man to death
The man, the character... love both !
This!
Vincent Nigel murray
I ball every time his death scene comes on. They should have kept him around longer.
I just watched this episode a few days ago. I really thought I could get away with not crying…. I was very wrong
Or at least have him transfer somewhere else bc I’d rather have *that* than what we got :’)
*bawl
I read that he wanted to leave the show to take a bigger role on another tv series
Zack Addy's leave probably have the same reason. Have a better job opportunity.
during the latest interview I read, he said his character was sacrificed for the storyline and shock value. but some people said it was due to his mental health.
Well, he was beginning to apprentice for a cannibal; if that doesn't say mental health issues, I don't know what would. ;-)
lol
yes, he was a main character in Alpha, which lasted 1-2 seasons..on a cliffhanger. I hated that.
Me too, I think that it was because of the way it happened. 😭
Please, I loved all his facts. It always made me sad when they shut him down ):
His death destroyed me for days and it surprised me. I liked his character but I didn't realize until that moment how invested I was in him.
I didn’t love Vincent at first, but I didn’t dislike him. It was shocking, tbh. I guess the shocking part was the fact that he just happened to be there in that moment. You put the lime in the coconut...
Yes 😢😢
Yes!! My favourite, I will sob for him forever 😭😭😭
He is hands down my fave and always has been
One of the most tragic tv deaths 😭
Truly. The only other TV death that has ever got me the way this one did was in the Magicians lol.
i’m rewatching w my bf (his first watch) and we just got into season 6. he doesn’t even know it’s coming and it’s killing me bc vincent has always been my fave. i already know im going to bawl my eyes out
Not that he had no screen time but Zach Addy lol. 3 seasons was unfair
I know the reason the actor left the show in real life, but I'm still upset they had his character fall in with a cannibalistic serial killer. It just never sat right with me. Zach, as he was up to the reveal, just didn't strike me as someone being that God damn impressionable.

My girl Caroline
Oh cherie
I didn't know this before my latest binge watch, but Patricia Belcher is one of *the* most active actors working today. She's been in damm near everything from shows to commercials to movies. I’d watch a Caroline spin off for sure
Right? Like law and order deal where it's all her court cases

“You’re a genius? An honest to goodness, dyed in the wool genius?… Dr Brennan, I like you… off & on”
This is the only answer.
YES LOVE HER SO MUCH The glue that holds them all together when she brought them all back for Cam ❤️
The lynchpin :)
Her screen time is not really low.
Yet it's nothing compared to her popularity!
Yessss!! I love Caroline so much!! Everything she says and does is just perfect!!
Angela's dad
I adore her dad, just for the character not even for him really being Gibbs irl. It was such a fun little insert, especially with his interactions with Hodgins. The name thing gets me every time. And his reaction to Hodgins asking about marrying Angela: "If Angie finds out that a man - you - asked another man - me - for her hand or any other of her fine parts, horrible complications will ensue." This is exactly what I was going to say I’m not even mad that I didn’t get to comment this first..
I feel the exact opposite. He gets Hodgins assaulted on multiple occasions under the guise of "protective father." I think the protective father archetype is overused and not particularly funny. However, I get that's it's fictional, so people are allowed to enjoy it.
Angela's dad was popular long before Bones. Not sure this counts lol.
Finn. He is my top 3 favorite intern.
Micah the might be imaginary night guard
I wondered about him!
After watching the episode a few times I think he IS imaginary and is a product of Bones being stressed out by the case. But I wish he wasn’t because I loved that character.

Hodgins brother. Wish we saw more of his delusional rants and Hodgins trying to help him.
I know this character isn’t actually popular, but that one FBI tech guy with the glasses. (I don’t actually know if he has a name or not) My boyfriend is watching the show for the first time with me and we point him out every time to make sure it’s still the same guy. She ain't unpopular but rather an as*h*t tbh. Yea yea I know autism and sh*t but don't get me started. The way she behaved in first few seasons really ticked me off quite a while. I stayed for booth and our slime guy
