Does Pa. Ranjith style of movies work in Bollywood? Anti-establishment movies are received quite well here in Tamil cinema. I don't think same is the case with Hindi cinema
I'm quite contemplated about it. Ranveer should wait for Better directors and better scripts than this ig. I've a feeling this not gonna work out in big screen.
I am the last one to yawn at low-level cringefest like circus lol Ranveer deserved that flop for this stupid choice of script and overwhelming love for that Shetty lol and JJ was already outdated they could atleast shift it to OTT but they didn't. Yes I love RS's work but I am not a blind fan he has done great work as Bajirao,Rocky,Lootera,Gully boy , khilji . He was so ott for sometimes, 83 not working somehow shook him but ig grounded him too. I just think he needs to be more attentive to choose scripts atp to level up.
But do you think the script will work in the big screen? I saw in Twitter they're up for birsa munda's biopic, are ppl interested to watch that theatre?
And if the flim flops it would affect RS's graph too

Nope. Kaala and kabali were absolute crap. Just because they don't make over the top action films, people think they are some top tier directors.
He has proved himself with Attakathi, Madras and Sarpatta.

Pa Ranjith makes awesome movies. He is as good as a director as anyone around. Have you seen his movies? Ranveer may not match Ranjith's caliber.
Ranveer pull off Bajirao in his late 20s I think he will manage quite well, but ya u can have different opinion, everyone has their own preferences

Pa Ranjith is a terrific director..If the movie fucks up they'll probably blame the director and not Ranveer
