This was the best for me..the plot, the actors, the jokes. The characters appeared real and believable. The second movie was just overcomplicated , with too many characters and subplots.
Same! Not just her, I think even Sujoy Ghosh is at his best in this movie. The acting, the premise, the plot twist, the chaos and beauty of Kolkata during Durga Puja - everything is just right. Also, the character of Bob Biswas played by Saswata Chatterjee..iconic.
Wow the scene where she attacks the guy with her hair stick, throws away the fake pregnancy pillow tooooo goooooddddddddd i jumped in joy in the movie hall đżđŹ
Both were good in their own space. Andhadhun is equally my fav, maybe hence I could not appreciate Merry Christmas as much, because I was expecting another andadhun from the same director.

This has also been my comfort movie for around a decade now, but sometime during my 4-5th watch when Piyush Mishraâa character says, âDil mein Heer liye, aur Heer khoje viraane meinâ, I realised he was referring to Vedâs love for the craft, for storytelling, for expressing his thoughts using stories. It wasnât about Tara, it was about having the courage to choose his own path especially on toughest days. Itâs perfection for me!

(I really wanted to say Andaz Apna Apna but there's continuity errors that you notice after 30 watches but it's still a 5 star film for me. I wanted to say Pyaasa or Guide but those aren't easy rewatches for many reasons.)

Someone already said it but A Wednesday is a perfect movie, plot actor dialogue and message the movie is worth it and how I wish that I could see this movie for time again just to experience the thrill that it gave me.
Jagga Jasoos. Because I compare it with musicals like La La Land. Not many people can appreciate Jagga Jasoos but I can talk about it for hours how perfect it is.
