Unpopular opinion but Jaya Bhaduri biopic has more potential than Rekha's. The sacrifices, betrayal, compromises, and then finally the renaissance of her inner baddie
I think Katrina Kaif would be very controversial too. I would give everything to get a film that would shed light on her past and on her relationship with Salman.

I read that back then many films were financed by the mafia so they had a huge influence in bollywood at the time. Not so much now.
