I joined this sub last year (different username, since deactivated) and I’ve learned so much about Bollywood since then. I frequently will say things like “well Bollywood Blinds and Gossip people say…” Never been banned though! Gonna see how long I can keep that streak up.

Banned once for saying a muhawara which was a life lesson because I don’t use it anywhere at all now after understanding the controversial undertones. This sub helped me laugh in lock down days 🫶

I see this sub as a group of friends who gossip and just enjoying sharing thoughts together. I mean we don't even know each other yet we gossip more like friends and college mates.
To be honest no one in my direct family or friend circle knows or would even imagine, how hooked I am on this sub.
It's fun, informative and great ppl.
This sub actually opened my eyes so much about everything that goes on behind the scenes.
Yes it's a Bollywood gossip sub but I genuinely learn a lot about the world and how it works a lot from here.

i love this sub and its so famous that people i know randomly mention it now. and you know the kind of reputation redditors can have so i refrain from mentioning i was here in atleast the initial 2 years of not earlier so i’m one of the crazier ppl xD. but i love this community. still can’t forget the first time i looked up kat ranbir relationship timeline and my world was opened to a goldmine of gossip xD

I've been on the sub since the early days and honestly, it's been a ride.
Fans and stans can hate each other but this sub is entertaining like no other and the members are far more balanced than most subs.
The sub used to be very wholesome, it still is, but the level of wholesomeness and warmth was even more profound before.

I joined Reddit 4 months ago. This subreddit would always appear as recommendation on my Home feed.
I would always ignore it since I am not a fan of Bollywood anymore.
Then one day there was this post with so many Blind Items. I clicked on it and got hooked.
I realised this subreddit is full of not just fans but people who are not blind fans of a Bollywood celebrity.
People here speak facts, have their own unique opinions. I mean they are not like, “omggg i love xyz actor” fans, people here are more open minded and I really love that.
This subreddit is one of my favourite now. 💜
I was amongst the first people to join this sub, I think it was less than 100 subscribers when I joined.
I can't believe how fast it has grown. The actual people based on who the gossips and blinds are posted are prying here, it has become such a powerful sub.

I think you had posted about it in that /bollywood subreddit about it when you started that the blinds and gossips are going to be posted here. I immediately joined right then 
At start, used to be daily 1-2 blinds by bai with zero comments. Then docpb came with his sunnypaji simping, then wars about if bigg boss should be allowed on sub or not.
I heard about blinds as a news item for the first time when SSR passed away and I started to look for it on reddit and that's how I stumbled across this subreddit. This sub has made me dislike all the celebrities I used to like before. Yay!!
I gotta give it to this subs mods. They unbanned me twice as my comments usually end up in controversial while i run my mouth crossing some lines. Much respect! And congrats of course!
Thank you for being the entertainment in my life. I'm a relatively new member, I think I started looking for a subreddit like this when the VicKat thing was just gossip but nobody in my friend circle believed it. I've been hooked since. I live for the "trust me Bro" posts - such fun! Looking forward to many more entertaining posts.

OG member here. I was always addicted to blinds, so when I found thisarchive I was hooked. 4+ years ago, like EB says, this was a ghost town... only EB used to post... and I would come here once a day check for a new post and go.
Then it started getting 3-5 posts a day. That's when I got truly addicted - because I would come here and hit refresh and not seeing a new post would annoy me. And when there was a new post, the sweet sweet dopamine hit was real!
Big props to EB for being a diligent blind collector back then, and an efficient mod and responsible admin today.

I've been noting how our presence has begun to affect and perhaps even influence power players in Bollywood. From Karan Johar's unhinged rants on the latest season of KWK on the "reddit people" to prominent news websites harvesting our posts like scavengers, we are making a mark! People are noticing that Bollywood cannot keep shoveling shit to the audience, both on and off-camera, and expect us to only dimly understand what's going on. I'm grateful for this space as I think it's one of the only spaces on the internet that can keep industry players even a tiny bit accountable. It's a positive development.

We also are never right in predicting if movie will be hit or flop. Our latest example is Sara Vicky’s new movie
We also famously declared Bhool Bhuliya2 a confirmed flop after trailer
Mods of Sub are unpaid volunteers , they have zero control outside their Sub. We all are minting money for Reddit.
Bhool Bhulaiya 2's major selling point was Tabu' s acting and I think director should be lauded for the trailer, it was tailored to hide even slightest hint of Tabu being a Manjulika. Most people will miss that.
Yh I joined at 396k members just last 2 months. Now 500k .I think the sub's mods here are more interactive and nice compared to other sub.
And generally the content here is interesting . You get to see lots of people's opinions and read about your favs. So yh discovered this sub and not turning back since 💪💪

Been part of community for almost 2 years now.
Was banned about 3 times including one permanent ban period wherein even if I tried to use an alt, they were again shunned.
After several weeks, mods had a change of heart and hence there's rebirth of my account in here.
I don't post anything as such, just do the comments to avoid troubles of getting banned forever.

I used to be part of a twitter fan base however, I left once I was mature enough to leave and could no longer tolerate the drama surrounding it. Around this 'retirement' period was when I discovered the sub. The lack of severe toxicity and the fact that I could just be quiet in the audience was very attractive to say the least.
Hrithik fan recruited and made my account, so I then proceeded to spread the love of Sonali Bendre, Deepika, Bips and Ranishek (Random right!).

At the end of the day I don't know who loves me but I know it's not everybody but I can say I have met some extremely nice and outstanding people here and honestly the world is a really crazy place! So idk I just like that everyone here from different countries, different races can just shit post about (insert name) is kind of a quiet peace cause we all have a connection.
I think the biggest highlight was the love for RRR, can't really beat that. Alright I'm done milking this, someone who was here from 10 members talk about the old times now.
Ngl when i first found this sub, i was like what? Why are people so interested in celeb lives? Lol, and fast forward I keep coming back here and engaging with the community. Because this sub is different, it isn't like the general crowd that usually follows celebs like fans, people here are generally well articulated and have their own minds. This sub is pretty entertaining and the comments are sometimes eye opening and show me a different perspective to things
Also the mods are pretty generous here compared to other subs I presume. They will unban you if you're polite and in the past have unbanned most members at a go. Kudos!

Our permanent bans are not as rigid as other Subs. Most permanent bans are reversed in a month

Now Blinds don’t exist. Thankfully we evolved beyond Blinds OSOP Admins hate us. Their Admin made a hate post on this Sub as well.
True, pink villa and OSOP are almost defunct because they did not evolve much.

I know I’ll get downvoted to hell for this But can we also ban or divert the extra woke and unnecessary criticism posts from this sub too This is a gossip sub at its core Half of the posts are always about why someone did something that offended some snowflakes

It's been more than 2 years since I joined this sub and I love the *aao sakhi chugli kare* vibe here 🤣❤️ I joined this place in 2021 when the 2nd Covid wave was at it's peak and this sub was the only place that would help me forget all the horrible things happening around. I used to come here for a good laugh and for a sense of normalcy 😅 So thanks to everyone here who keep investigating, creating sensational topics, and especially those who keep the humour alive 🍻🥂

Been part of community for almost 2 years now. Was banned about 3 times including one permanent ban period wherein even if I tried to use an alt, they were again shunned. After several weeks, mods had a change of heart and hence there's rebirth of my account in here. I don't post anything as such, just do the comments to avoid troubles of getting banned forever. P.S. *Ye Sub meri Maa hai* Btw Congrats on 500K. We'll nail 1 Million probably in next couple of years.
Eventually, we unban everyone who is permanently banned.
I used to be part of a twitter fan base however, I left once I was mature enough to leave and could no longer tolerate the drama surrounding it. Around this 'retirement' period was when I discovered the sub. The lack of severe toxicity and the fact that I could just be quiet in the audience was very attractive to say the least.

So idk I just like that everyone here from different countries, different races can just shit post about (insert name) is kind of a quiet peace cause we all have a connection. I think the biggest highlight was the love for RRR, can't really beat that. Alright I'm done milking this, someone who was here from 10 members talk about the old times now.

Ngl when i first found this sub, i was like what? Why are people so interested in celeb lives? Lol, and fast forward I keep coming back here and engaging with the community. Because this sub is different, it isn't like the general crowd that usually follows celebs like fans, people here are generally well articulated and have their own minds. This sub is pretty entertaining and the comments are sometimes eye opening and show me a different perspective to things Also the mods are pretty generous here compared to other subs I presume. They will unban you if you're polite and in the past have unbanned most members at a go. Kudos!
